Guess I'm starting! I finished these on the weekend so they'll apply to Q1 teams, but nothing like being the first poster to a fresh thread so I'm putting them here! These are part of a "mini chapter" in my album about a trip I took to BC in 2019. I took a lot of selfies and pictures of things/views in my hometown because my Mom was recovering from surgery and we weren't able to do fun stuff together or even take pictures of her! I'm using my Cocoa Vanilla to scrap this chapter. Layout We live in a Fishbowl by kirstendrew, on Flickr Layout Living on the Edge by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Amazing wood background grammadee! I'm too "precious" with my wood grain pps...I collect them, love them, can't bring myself to use them! I also love the themes you've kept up with - the die cutting and title are wonderful.

grammadee - like kitbop - I love the woodgrain background. I find woodgrain hard to use but I love how it looks. Great challenge and all your themed bits are perfect

Linda - great ream of layouts I really like "enjoy" because you played off the geometric background paper with your rectangular layers perfectly, and I love "gators dockside" with it's gorgeous background, some of my fave letter stickers, and a pretty picture of you. "Memories" is effortlessly pretty, love the clusters. The photo grouping in "energy explore playful" is a great put together of a bunch of photos. "Meow" is really cool and dramatic with the cluster placement and nuvo drops! joblackford - you make such great cards and you make it look easy! Love that you put the doodlebug to thorough use - they are eye candy. That afghan is stunning - I've been watching it on Insta with jealousy. .

A couple more sunflower cards, pretty similar to the first I shared above: April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr An experimental one-off April Sheetload card. Not sure I like the woodgrain tone with the Shimelle MCE paper. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Three gold embossed floral cards - I did the embossing a couple of years ago and just now got to coloring them with Tombows and a bit of ink blending. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr And a couple butterflies embossed ages ago, experimenting with random ink blending followed by painting in the colors, inspired by an AmyR/Prairie Paper and Ink video ( blog post here). I used different inks and my colors got a bit muddy in some spots but I'll try it again sometime. It was kind of fun and less pressure than trying to decide how to paint each section. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm almost finished with my stack of pre-stamped/embossed card panels. They've been waiting for me for a long time. Finishing a project you started so it can go out into the world counts as decluttering

Here is my take on Allison Davis's new sketch for the SCT year long class. It was also my attempt at my own holiday switcheroo challenge--scrapping Christmas photos with papers and supplies from my Easter bin. Was trying to go with the butterflies on one of the aprons. Cherish the traditions Love the cooks by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And it works with this month's Donna challenge "What's Cookin'?"
Sneaking this LO in here so I can figure out points for the Double Stuff weekend all in one place. This one is a take on the April 6th Sketchy Saturday sketch. The crunch is coming b/c I will be visiting this young hockey player and his brother in a couple of weeks and they will be wanting to see their pages LOL:
POINTS: Four 12x12 pages (80), Created & shared (8). Twelve photos (12) and theme (10) for Donna challenge. Sketchy Saturday (5). P=19 popped up butterflies, S/I-11 butterflies, C/M-15 Christmas scrapped in Easter colours, C/M-17 team colours, T-3 fussy cut puck, W/T-11 long title, W/T-12 lot of fonts, Th-13 sports theme, Th-14 pic's from 2022, N/S-6 six layers, N/S-8 large photo. Total: 126

It was also my attempt at my own holiday switcheroo challenge--scrapping Christmas photos with papers and supplies from my Easter bin. You hit a whole lot of challenges with this one!! I don't think I've ever seen that torn paper technique before. What a cool way to pull two pages together and use one sheet of paper well. It took me a moment to realize how you'd done that. Wonderful purple paper pages
