Somehow I missed a day. How did that happen?

Now that I have prom pic's from two different proms dgd attended, I need to put together another couple of LO's for her album. Hoping to use one of them for a sample for this next Saturday's sketch.

And I need to start calculating June points.

I think I did too, even though I read everything here. I must've been too busy overthinking my memoir title.

I got caught up with family stuff yesterday but I did manage to finish a few more cards. I've run out of my preferred vellum and double sided adhesive sheets so today I'm going to see if I can make do with thicker adhesive and thinner vellum.

Yesterday I also forced myself to put away everything on my desk that I wasn't actually in the middle of using. Things had been creeping up into piles and I was running out of space to work.

Ha ha! Working in the middle of several piles is my scrappy MO! I tend to clean and organize when a)I can't find anything, &/or b)when a theme is finished. I had hoped to clear away all the grad and prom stuff this week, but now I have a new set of prom pic's, so I will be leaving most of the stuff out.

Gosh, see, once I missed one day commenting I threw off my whole streak!
This morning I started watercoloring straight away after I got up because it's a much better start than reading the news (ugh). Now I'm posting some of my MIL's junk to give away on Buy Nothing - hubby cleared out some of her excess holiday decor and old linens she hasn't used in decades.

The sun is out. I need to get into the garden and weed, really badly. I'm already wondering if it's time for my lunchtime coffee and it's only 9:48am. Hubby is up on a ladder working on the never-ending siding repaint project. Just another typical day around here.

Is the sun shining where you are?

The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. The weeds are growing. I am sitting on our covered deck where it is a comfy 18C in the shade with a blissful light breeze. 

just got in from my second hour hoeing and hand weeding in the sun—which was a lot hotter than 18. When I finish my coffee I will head out there for another hour. Then it will be time for a shower, some lunch, and a nap. In any order…

I slightly altered a card made from a photo of a Hummel figurine (repurposed from a 1980s address book) to make a 52nd b'day card for my friend. I added the sentiment "you're not old, you're vintage" which I had typed out on a real vintage typewriter and stamped a sentiment inside using a previously unused stamp That was my small win of the day. His b'day was today but I was able to drop it off this morning.

I'll try to get some last minute crochet points this evening instead of rotting my brain on IG.

Shakti - you did an AMAZING job as team leader and I hope you lead again!

My total was 3850 these 3 months. Got a good amount of that from moving/cleaning/reorganizing my scrap space!
