Hanging out at my favorite place when I’m bored the Instagram Reel and came across this reel of Bradley Cooper, Aaron Rodgers, & Mills Teller “dancing” At a Taylor Swift concert. The title of the reel was “Confirmed Swifties”. My question is are you? I’m not. www.instagram.com/reel/C4ZoqrEgHvk/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Nope. I have nothing against her - she seems like a talented young woman and I admire what she's done with her career but I can't say I'm a big fan.

I admire her for her talent and ability to become a billionaire but I care very little about her day to day life ... Her music is OK but not my fav ... I like the really early stuff when she sang country as a teenager. I am definitely not a "Swiftie" ...

I just watched that little bit of video and I will admit, it is the first time I have heard any of her music. Not that I disliked her work at all, I have just never heard it.

I love what she has accomplished and I enjoy her music for the most part.
I admire her, but I am not a Swiftie.

I'm not but I will tell you that I actually bought her latest album and have it on Spotify as well and I have listened to that thing countless times. I really like it. It's perfect background while I'm doing other tasks and I really like a lot of the songs.
I wanted the clear vinyl double album so I bought it and we sat outside playing Uno drinking beers and listening, and my husband didn't even hate it.

No. Unless I randomly and unknowingly heard her one of her songs on the radio at work or elsewhere, I know none of her music. I know her name, and only recently know more of her story because of the football guy that she is dating, and it's been in the daily news briefs. I like her for standing up for herself and her philanthropy.
I am a confirmed >> hair band, classic rock, 70's (Ambrosia, Bread, Carly Simon, etc...), disco, a little country, a little hard rock, a little bluegrass, a few of the "newer to me artists" (Adele, Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll), .......music fan.

No. I admire her business skills. I personally think her musical talent is vastly overrated. But I'm basing this mostly on what I heard when she was in country music. She was constantly awarded and fawned over but I never got it. I didn't think she had much of a singing voice and the lyrics of her songs didn't move me at all. (She did write one song for Little Big Town that I thought was very good.) I have listened to some of her more recent songs for comparison and to see what the big deal is. You can't tell it is the same person singing as in her earlier music. The sound is definitely better.

100%, yes.
I’ve always liked her but wasn’t a super fan by any means. Last year I was able to buy three Eras tour tickets for my daughter, her boyfriend, and my son’s boyfriend. Then I started seeing all the TikToks about people going, the outfits, friendship bracelets, etc. and decided I needed to go,too. I learned the entire setlist and ended up buying a single ticket for the same night as the others. It was so much fun, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The camaraderie, the joy of seeing people from 5 to 85 enjoying music and each other made me a big fan. I do realize that it’s a bit of a cult mentality (haha), but it’s pretty harmless so I think it’s ok.
Thankfully, my next door neighbor is my age and is also a big fan (along with her kids). We saw the movie in theaters and are attending a candlelight concert this month!
ETA: I do admire her as an artist and love her music…not just the social aspect. 😅

I like the songs I hear from her generally but I don't go crazy over them, never felt the need to seek out more, never wanted to go to her concerts. So while I thinks she's cool and I admire how she has handled her career I wouldn't call myself a Swiftie.

💯 absolutely. I have two kids who are as well. We’ve been to the Era’s concert. I love how she is a great performer, businesswoman, beautiful, love her mom, her sense of style, her songs, her humor.
Most of all I love that my kids are Swifties.
I really don’t know what makes a real Swiftie but I feel like i am and I bond with my kids. My mom (who is a saint and love her to no end, but she would never understand something like this) so I feel good my kids include me in the madness. ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t know all the lyrics or even heard of all the new songs yet so hopefully that doesn’t take me out of the Swiftie level 🤣🤣

Don't even know what this is to be called a Swiftie. You should have another answer of "I have no idea what a Swiftie is" and can't answer NO to are you a Swiftie.

No, I am not. I saw her in concert during her Red Tour, back in 2013. I am not a big fan of her music, but she is a good entertainer. She puts on a good performance. I have heard a few songs from her newest album and they sound more "grownup" than some of her previous stuff. I could see myself liking a few of her new songs, but I am still not a Swiftie.

I will preface this by saying that I admire Taylor Swift, I think she is talented and a great role model, and seems to be a lovely person.
In answer to your question, no I am not a Swiftie. Her music is not a genre I listen to. I honestly could not name a single song of hers (although I could probably sing along to that one with the fun film clip where she’s dressed as a cheer leader then a ballerina and she falls over).
After hearing everyone bang on about how brilliant her latest album is, and what a great songwriter she is, I jumped onto Spotify to listen to some of her top rated songs. I have to say, I was really underwhelmed. The writing is not what I would call great song writing, when compared to others I admire. The songs are quite basic. I’m happy for any fans to set me straight, and recommend a song or two!

I checked yes, though I'm more of a swiftie by association. It's a fun thing to bond with my daughters over and I probably wouldn't have gotten into her on my own. I do really enjoy a number of her songs. We didn't make it to the concert but my oldest and I watched the Eras tour in the theater on opening day and that was an incredible amount of fun.

No. I think she’s a very smart businesswoman and a great role model for young girls but I couldn’t name a single song of hers. I don’t really care about her love life either.

Absolutely. This weekend I performed the most incredible karaoke version of Are You Ready for It? With my 10 year old niece. Her birthday was the eras tour movie and a themed sleepover that we got to plan together. I love having a way to connect with her.
It's hard not to respect the hustle and her business sense and love the message that she sends by working to change bad practices and abuse and not be pushed around.
I personally love the clues and riddles and puzzles and Easter eggs in music so I'm a fan for sure.

I still love Shake It Off but that's the only song I can recall of hers. I do enjoy the clips I see of her on tv/YouTube. If my granddaughters needed chaperoning to a concert I'd happily go but I'd not go out of my way to hunt down her music for myself.

No, but my dd is. So I know a lot of Taylor Swift's music from hearing dd play it for years while we were driving somewhere. From what I know about her (quite a lot actually, thanks to dd, lol) I like her. I prefer her later music after her voice changed as she got older....it because more mellow and deeper. I don't love the newest album though. Please don't tell dd that. haha

I am not an all out Swiftie, but I enjoy a lot of her music. We were listening to a XM station this weekend that was playing all Taylor songs. I love it! I also admire her for how far she has come.

Nope, and my teen DD isn’t either. I fully respect what she has done for herself as a business woman and the brand she has built for herself as an entertainer. I’m sure she’s quite intelligent and I’ve heard she puts on a great show, however I think her singing and songwriting are a bit overrated.
Honestly I’m more than a little tired of hearing her songs played almost constantly on the radio. I listen to an alternative station and up until the most recent concert hype, they never used to play her songs anywhere close to as often as they do now, which is currently all Taylor, all the time. That, along with the Luke Combs version of Fast Car which I can’t stand (LOVE the original which they never play) and Beautiful Things (which I’m totally over), are also seemingly played on a endless loop. It makes me want to play music off my phone when I’m in my car and that’s a hassle. Thankfully the football season is over so the whole Taylor/Travis thing isn’t constantly in the news every freaking day anymore.

We saw the movie in theaters and are attending a candlelight concert this month! ETA: I do admire her as an artist and love her music…not just the social aspect. 😅 This sums me up pretty much. I liked her "ok" before Eras Tour. I had a friend that ended up with 1 extra ticket and after seeing all the hype I bought a plane ticket and flew to Florida for her show last year and was hooked after that. I'm also a football fan, and a New Heights Podcast fan, so that definitely didn't hurt. I will say....there is a level of Swiftie that I think has reached really unhealthy levels -I'm not that. LOL I listen to other music, I don't go around on social media defending somebody I've never met or hating people because she hates them, I don't cry over her music, etc. But I saw her in concert probably 15 years ago at CMA Fest and she wasn't great. To see how she's evolved, her talent as a songwriter, the 'easter eggs' her/her team plan and drop for months ahead of a new album, how impressive the Eras Tour set was, etc, I'm definitely in. If you look at the latest album and realize that she has literally written a book in 31 chapters from middle of a relationship to the end, through the heartbreak, to a new relationship and it's end, through the stages of grief, and now closing that chapter and starting a new relationship....there's no other artist that does that. It's really impressive.

No. I admire her, think she is talented and am forever grateful that she is speaking out against republicans which gets millions of young adults registered to vote.
I watched her Miss Americana documentary on Netflix and honestly, I found her life to be extremely sad and lonely. No amount of money in the world is worth that. It's possible that is just the way they edited the documentary but that was how I felt after watching it.
