My Mother's day looked a little different this year. I was at the hospital with my Mom who'd had surgery the Friday before. My youngest DD lives about 30 minutes away so she came and spent some time with us, and brought us both flowers and a card. My oldest DD and my SO got me a new grill(my request hehe) and put it together for me to see/use when I got home. Neither of my boys even acknowledged it (both special needs but not even a text message).
