i am going to have such FOMO, but I have decided not to sign up for any of the SCT events this year. Somehow the dates never work out for me once we get closer in to the event, and while I feel like such a winner opening up the class box, I end up with tons of stuff I never use, or use once.

I love Christmas and Christmas cards. I also enjoyed the one-day Celebrations Delivered event far more that the one C&CD I did, which was just too too extra -- too much stuff, too many days, too many classes, too many clashing styles. I like the versatility of the products we got in the one day, too. I'm really hoping this lives up!

Informed Delivery tracking shows Sanborn, NY as the origin? Mine should arrive Saturday too! First US shipping point? My orders from US to Canada often stop tracking at Burnaby BC which is the place that Canada Post takes over.

I’m signed up even though I thought I would be out of town during the event. I’m thrilled that my yearly music festival is the next weekend so I get to play along with everyone!

I'm all signed up, too! I was super impressed with the Celebrations event in Feb so I'm excited to see what this one is like - I skipped it last year.
I'm only 4.5 hours from Toronto so my box gets shipped last, I have no idea when it will arrive.

Excited to start on my Christmas cards! Am going to take some time to put the dies on magnetic sheets and see what we got.

Do you use theirs, marie? We got a sample in our C&9th Summer Camp kit. I'm impressed with how lightweight they are, but I can spend less and get HA magnetic sheets WITH the thick plastic envelopes (like the ones SU dies come in) from OfficeSupply.com. I currently only have some of my dies on magnets at all....

I didn't hear about this event until now but I see that you can still register. For those that have their box, which companies are the supplies from? Do you like what you see?

It is all from S&CT, same as the Celebrations Delivered event and the package is similar. One large stamp set (6x9 maybe?), four stencils (2 are a layering background set, 2 work with the stamps and/or dies), a BOATLOAD of dies, including one cover plate, 4 words with shadows, 4 dies for sentiment stamps…all in all I think it was around 30 or so! Oh, and a good-sized stack of white card stock (probably some card-base 100 lb and some 80 lb) and some specialty stock (I saw silver and gold, but haven’t fully explored yet). I think it’s a good value with lots of versatile products. Possibly willing to answer more fully, take photos even, later today…. Also, sudsy, if you wanted to check out Celebrations Delivered, that event has a thread and folks start posting finished cards at this post: 2peasrefugees.boards.net/post/4071224/thread

I have a couple of theirs from a past kit but I'm always afraid a die will drop off without an envelope. And like you I only have a few of my dies on magnet sheets. It would be a big cost investment.

With their light weight I think the SCT ones could be used in my Avery Elle or SSS envelopes, but still the cost.

Here are some, just to show you what I mean - but if you keep looking, you can find better prices on the site for the exact same thing: share.temu.com/5HJYU6fJiHASince there aren't copyright issues with these, I'm comfortable buying them there. They have a lot of good organizing stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.

Thanks for the sneak peek. I always like the way Meghann Andrew teaches.
Did anyone else see that SCT is doing a Halloween event? It looks more scrapbook centered. If it was just cards, I would be all in.

Well, I'm trying to see what I have and what I need to get for this event. I only have one ink color that's needed, so I need to buy 8 ink cubes from Concord & 9th. Considering they're giving us a 15% discount, each ink cube is $2.97, not too bad.
However, when I go to get the matching cardstock... they don't sell single sheets. I have to buy it in packs of 12 sheets for $12.95 each. I need 10 different colors, maybe 1 sheet of each... The assorted bundle of cardstock is sold out... Did SCT offer the cardstock separately? I can't see buying all the colors if I only need 1/2 sheet...
ETA: I just reread the Celebrations Delivered thread, and realized that we didn't get the colored cardstock for that either. I waited until I saw the actual cards and then choose my cardstock/matching inks. Since I only have one C&9th ink color and none of their cardstock, I might just use my Oxides or my TE inks and cardstock.

Do you have a stash of colored card stock of any other brands? I have a fairly large stash of thinner (65 lb) colored card stock in assortment packs from both Neenah (astrobrights and astrodesigns [which are solid colors, not designs]) and Michael's (Recollections); not great for card bases, but fine for matting layers and die-cutting. I have a bit of a stash of C&9th (from events) and HA (from kits). I have single sheets from Joann, Michael's, and cardstockwarehouse.com.
It also seems to me that one's color scheme may not need to match the designer's exactly. Assuming you have access to a HL, Joann, or Michael's, see what they have in single sheets that are close. If you're concerned the colors don't coordinate quite right because they're off from the brands recommended, ask someone working there for advice -- in my experience, they're crafty people happy to help! And at cardstockwarehouse.com they have assorted packs, but up to 5 sheets counts as a sample and samples ship free. I don't think there's a limit on the number of sheets in a sample order that ships free. So order a few samples that look close to the ones they use.
