The electric kettle I had been eyeing for ds and for me was $10 off this morning so I snagged 2 of those. The ring doorbell and ring cameras I was considering are labeled Prime Day Deals, but they are the same price they have been for the last 10 days, so Im not pulling the trigger there

I am usually the anti-Amazon. Not really, but I do try to buy things elsewhere and local if I can. However, my Best Buy stopped stocking the paper/ink for my Canon Selphy. I have rushed in there many times after I've run out to find that they don't have any refills. So I buy them from Amazon. I needed that this morning so I went in to check it out. I have been on the quest for the perfect coffee pot for like 15 years. I have been through all the usual suspects, from Keurig to currently a Capresso. And all I keep thinking is, nothing worked better than the cheap Mr. Coffee $20 pot I had for like 15 years until I broke the carafe. I was in a bed and breakfast this past weekend and they had the tiniest (but perfect for my two cups at a time) coffee pot that was brightly colored and just simple. Easy to clean. Which is my biggest complaint with the Capresso. So I thought I'd just see if Amazon had anything very simple and fun. I ordered this one: Yellow Mini Coffee MakerAnd, I got rid of my big Cuisinart airfryer/toaster oven a couple of weeks ago too because the only thing I ever did with it was toast bagels. I swapped it out for an aqua two slot toaster. I loved the counterspace that freed up. This little coffeemaker will do the same.

Lol.. only three posts into this thread and already I've been enabled. haha I bought your coffee maker, except I got the red one. We have the usual big 12-cup coffee maker which was okay when I was drinking coffee. But I stopped when I lost my desire for it after I had covid. So now it's just dh. This big one won't make just one mug of coffee so we have to make two at once, then he puts the second cup in the fridge to reheat the next day. This has been working, but why have that huge coffee pot on the counter in our tiny kitchen?

I'm glad I enabled you. Hopefully this works out perfect for both of us.

I'm irritated that a digital door lock (from a different thread) was $28 and now has gone up to $40 today.

I might have to get one of those coffee pots! My Keurig died a few weeks ago, and I refuse to buy another because they only ever last me two or three years, if I’m lucky. I am using a pour-over style now, but I love the colors of that mini brewer!

Looking for some home security cameras for daughter’s house. She can place it inside facing her front porch and backyard as there are windows with deep sills.
I have no idea what I need to look for. Something that works like a ring doorbell? Starts recording when there is a motion and alerts her through an app?
Any suggestions? Also, do these require a monthly fee?

We have used the Ring stick up cameras, or Ring in general. There is a monthly or yearly subscription that you do pay if you want movement recorded. It is $50 a year per device, or $4.99 a month. Or $10 a month for all your Ring devices or $100 a year. Ring Subscription plans

I think this is a good deal and a great housewarming gift. Fire blanketI bought a Ring plug in stick up camera for our patio at the cabin. I want to be able to scare the geese off our lawn. Lol I bought a 3 pack of utility scissors, a new programmable thermostat, an artificial olive tree body wash, Crest white strips, allergy pills and body oil. Quite the random cart!

And score one enabling point for you. I ordered two of the fire blanket packs, so four blankets total. I've had my eye on these since someone posted about them on this board recently. I'll keep one, and give one to each kid. Actually maybe I'll give two to ds since there are several people, plus four cats and a dog, living in their house...So more chances for something to catch fire in the kitchen.

Check out the Eufy cameras/doorbell. We are very happy with ours. No monthly fees, alerts you of movement, records on a local home base.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but so far I have a water flosser, a drywall/popcorn ceiling sander, and a keypad deadbolt door lock in my cart. I need to find the lock like my son has that lets you freely walk in and out of the door without worrying about locking it behind you or needing keys. Nothing infuriates me more than getting home and my DH has locked the deadbolt, he says out of habit. I have to wait for him to shuffle to the door to let me in. I just want that to be taken care of.

If anyone uses super greens, Kiala is 44% off. I use this one, so this is a great deal!
And for the crafty ones, Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting machine is also a prime deal, $119.99 instead of $149.99.

I have ordered my biosilk shampoo and conditioner, and a new toaster. I am thinking about another blink doorbell. I’d like a second one at our side door that more people use than the front door.
Other than that I’d need to see something at a huge discount to give in.

Just as I suspected, a bunch of things in my cart went up in price, not down. I'm convinced Prime Day is a scam.

I ordered a bottle of Lancome teint idole foundation (my favorite) and BK beauty concealer brush. I also got an air mattress for ds to use when he is here.

I ordered a 3-pk of small tension rods (for $6.29!) and a curtian panel. I have a laundry room cabinet that doesn't have doors and I want to make curtains for it. Also a Sink Shroom. We have a sink with no stopper. A pack of under cabinet lights I've had in my cart, went up in price. So I assume they will be a prime deal and regular price again soon

I might have to get one of those coffee pots! My Keurig died a few weeks ago, and I refuse to buy another because they only ever last me two or three years, if I’m lucky. I am using a pour-over style now, but I love the colors of that mini brewer! I got a Ninja Dual Brew. It is the best coffee maker I have ever had. I got fed up with Keurig's crapping out on me. I have the Ninja Ninja CFP301. You can brew KCups, small pots or large pots. It comes with a Glass carafe. One of the things I use it for almost more than coffee is tea. We LOVE the Keurig Tazo Black tea. It is just the best (to us, I know not all) tea to make iced tea with. I love brewing it into the carafe. I brew a 12oz then a 10 with the same Kcup. Then I put ice in a pitcher and pour over. Everyone loves my iced tea! It's so good in the summer. I like the carafe for brewing hot coffee into during harvest, because I fill a couple thermos to take in the semi to share. I loved the hot/boil water feature. When my grandkid was still small, I would brew just a cup of hot water into a large mug and put his bag of breastmilk into thaw and warm. SO handy! It has been working well for me for over a year. I have found the cleaning cycle works great and is EASY! I just dump a bottle of coffee cleaner into the reservoir and fill the rest with water. It takes 75 minutes to clean, but you don't have to fiddle with it. It pulls small amounts through, and that seems to knock out all the gunk. Then when it is done, I dump the carafe of dirty and fill the 60oz reservoir with clean and run that twice. SO SO SO much better than those dang Keurig machines. Whoever designed the Ninja deserves a pat on the back! LOL

I've been wanting a rice cooker - my son uses one at school and has been hounding me for one all summer. Pulled the trigger on a Zojirushi which apparently will be the last one I ever need to buy. 33% off so a pretty good deal.

Still works perfectly. I’ve never had an issue with it and perfectly cooked rice every time

We have used the Ring stick up cameras, or Ring in general. I'm completely clueless about Ring cameras and doorbells. Do you have to wire them to electricity? I think I want to get one for my front door and I'd like one for my living room so I can check on my pupper while I'm at work.

I can't ever remember charging it. The office Ring is just on the outer framing. No electricity. I have to charge the battery maybe once a month. It might be every couple of months.
