Did you end up getting the root touch up? I got mine last night, used some this morning and it was easy to apply and covered quickly! It is on it's way! I won't need it until next month when the grays start to come through! I have been using the spray kind, and I like it, but I am thinking this one might work better to cover just the places I need and not need to spray a whole area.

One of my dogs did this! DH didn’t have the cooktop locked after he made breakfast one day. The dog jumped up to get at a stick of butter at the back of the stovetop and he turned on the burner with his paw. Thank God we noticed that the burner was on before the house started on fire. Now we always keep the stovetop locked when we’re not using it. I have never seen a stovetop that you can lock. That is an excellent feature. Is it common on all newer stoves? I have no idea how old the stove at my new house is, but I don’t think I can lock it. I will have to look closer. I know one of the previous owners redid the kitchen, I just don’t know when the stove was changed out. It isn’t the one that was original to the home. Ours is definitely not new. I believe the kitchen was remodeled around 2001 before we bought the house. The electric cooktop is a KitchenAid and the child lock is right in the middle of the burner controls off to one side. You have to press on that spot for something like 3-5 seconds to lock or unlock. It was unlocked when the dog jumped up with his front paws on the burner controls to try to reach the butter dish and when his paw pads tapped the burner control he turned the burner on. Our stove at the lake cabin is natural gas and the dog would need to have opposable thumbs and quite the skill set to turn those burners on, so no lock is needed there.

I had my eye on a Lodge cast iron braiser and it was on sale for $73 down 30% so I put it in my cart to think about. I checked this morning and it's still the same price without showing a discount so I believe it was a made-up Prime days sale. Now I don't have to hurry thinking about it and can see if I really want it.

My final count for the 2 days Thanks to jeremysgirl I got Wintering. I need to find rest and retreat. Removable wallpaper for an accent wall in my entryway. Muslin face Cloths A mini vac for my fancy pool Transparent sticky notes Flea stuff for the pups Water flosser(my kids enabled me) A keypad deadbolt that is going back. I'm an idiot and forgot my deadbolt is only on the inside. I don't want to drill on the outside simply because it's another drill tool I would have to buy. I may sit and simmer on this.

naby64 I have that same vacuum for my pool and it works perfectly well and exactly as it should. I've had it for five summers now. It sucks up all the little debris as well as oak leaves and maple leaves!

The little seats on each side. No kids in it just me. And I suspect during the day, one or maybe both of the pups are getting in. Thus the need for a vacuum. There is a bit of dirt and bits on the bottom. I have a mesh skimmer for the floating bugs, pine straw and the like. It works great. I just want something to make the bottom cleaner.

It will be perfect for that! I don't have a fancy pool either. Mine is an 18 ft by 4 ft Intex Easy Set pool but I love it for my son and I. I take it down each year and put it up and it's been the best $250 I ever spent! And in case you lose the little vacuum bag like I did a couple years ago lol, I had a pair of lace ankle socks and I use one of those for the vacuum bag with a big rubber band. 😂 It works just fine! Haha.

I only had 1 purchase this year and it was a book. LOL
Youngest dd bought a lot though for her business she started about a year ago. When she saw the total price she had a difficult time submitting it.

Thank you for everyone who provided a link to the oil sprayer gadget!!!!! Yep, who knew I needed one of these!! AND I will most likely grab one for each of the kids! Yes, that's the main problem with this type of thread... we see things we had NO idea we needed, until we see it! haha Then they turn out to be *exactly* what we needed. One of the best examples for me are those squared-off collapsible bags that someone linked a few years ago. I use those almost exclusively for grocery shopping now, and for all sorts of other things too. I had no idea they even existed before someone posted about them, never mind knowing I needed some. lol

I didn’t buy much this year, just a new backpack for DD, a two pack of curved embroidery scissors and a portable Apple Watch charger. I was looking for a good ice shaver but they all had mixed reviews so I waffled and didn’t buy one.

I ordered this small desk/travel fan: a.co/d/dK6GEBlI have a different shaped one that is kind of annoying to pack, but this one is nice and flat! when we go camping or travel where AC is not quite robust, or just to have some air movement, its really nice. DD and I just went to Copenhagen and I liked to sleep with it to have some movement. I left it with DD and she totally made fun of me for bringing it, and then said it saved her ass when they had some warmer days. LMAO. Lol. It's always nice when our kids finally realize how smart we are.

Which one did you buy? I bought this one. It didn’t have a lot of reviews but for under ten bucks I thought it was worth taking the risk. It seems like my watch always ends up needing a charge when I’m out and about. I’m not good at remembering to charge it until dinner time or later, which means by the morning I’m not starting the day on a full charge. a.co/d/2RLurS3
