I got a TV for the craft room. It was time for an upgrade. I want to get a 4.5qt crockpot but they aren't on sale and I'm not paying $70 when I know they will be at least half that price come Black Friday at WalMart or Target. I will wait.

One thing that I have found consistently on sale for Prime day is Jockey underwear, especially if you aren't particular about the color. I didn't need any this time but I got my college kid stocked up.
We have a few more college things to buy but waiting for dd to get home from work before pulling the trigger.

I ordered this small desk/travel fan: a.co/d/dK6GEBlI have a different shaped one that is kind of annoying to pack, but this one is nice and flat! when we go camping or travel where AC is not quite robust, or just to have some air movement, its really nice. DD and I just went to Copenhagen and I liked to sleep with it to have some movement. I left it with DD and she totally made fun of me for bringing it, and then said it saved her ass when they had some warmer days. LMAO.

Enabled! I forgot that I've been wanting to get something like this, as I NEED moving air to stay cool. So many hotel rooms anymore don't have an option for continuously moving air and I always feel like I'm being smothered. I also have to go to lots of track meets, so this would be helpful for those, too. Thanks!

I ordered a new central Alexa as we have a first generation one (!) that we've wanted to upgrade for a while. Also a few random things like toilet cleaner and socks, and of course the fans mentioned above! I also got a small smoothie maker (blender) that is hopefully more quiet than our full on Vitamix. My son is a smoothie addict and my daughter is very noise sensitive. She also basically lives in the den, which is attached to the kitchen. I'm trying to reduce the potential for bloodshed.

So far, I’ve gotten a sweatshirt for my son, some snacks, a volleyball, and my husband got AirPods for his Father’s Day gift (I asked him to wait until Prime Day, in hopes of finding a better price). I’ll keep an eye out for other things but not seeing a ton I need or want!

I'm completely clueless about Ring cameras and doorbells. Do you have to wire them to electricity? I think I want to get one for my front door and I'd like one for my living room so I can check on my pupper while I'm at work. I think mine at home is wired into the wiring from my old doorbell. I can't ever remember charging it. The office Ring is just on the outer framing. No electricity. I have to charge the battery maybe once a month. It might be every couple of months. Same!

We have used the Ring stick up cameras, or Ring in general. I'm completely clueless about Ring cameras and doorbells. Do you have to wire them to electricity? I think I want to get one for my front door and I'd like one for my living room so I can check on my pupper while I'm at work. I don't have the indoor cameras but we have the Ring doorbell and Ring outdoor cameras. By our front door we have the doorbell and we wired ours using our previous regular doorbell. My parents bought the wireless one and they have to change their batteries every couple of months (I think). The outdoor cameras we have around the perimeter of our house and those are not hard wired. We do have to recharge the batteries often but I have our sensitivity quite low. We have thought adding the solar panel thing to it to try to help. We just have an extra set of batteries so when one camera needs changed we just put the extra set in and the recharge the other ones for the next camera that needs changed.

The only Prime Day deals I have purchased are root touch-up that I have been wanting to try (2 days before my hair gets colored hahaha) and one book that my daughter wants for her birthday.

I picked up an Echo Spot for my daughter's room. Her old tower is dying. i also picked up some makeup brushes, charging cords, magnetic hooks, and umbrellas. I've been watching my items, and they did go down in price significantly. I was afraid it was trickery for me as well with the price games, but I'm happy to have saved as much as I did.

You know how people buy purses or shoes even when they have too many? Well I buy fans! LOL! I have this amazingly quiet Honeywell fan that I LOVE (on now Prime for $23.30) but it needs to be plugged in. I typically use it in my craft room, but I've actually taken it on vacation. It's lightweight and small-ish and fits in my suitcase. But I want one that doesn't need to plugged in for camping. ETA regarding my fan fetish: We also have the Honeywell full room quiet fan in our bedroom and living rooms. It's the big tower style. Recommend it, too for quiet air movement.

I've been wanting a rice cooker - my son uses one at school and has been hounding me for one all summer. Pulled the trigger on a Zojirushi which apparently will be the last one I ever need to buy. 33% off so a pretty good deal. I’ve had a Zojirushi for I don’t know how long and (1) it is completely reliable and (2) I will never cook rice any other way.

I ended up buying a cookbook I wanted and a pair of Loop earplugs. That’s it! I can’t quite pull the trigger on a walking pad.

My Zojirushi has been going strong since 1996, bought it when I lived in Japan. It’s been used at least weekly since then

Looking for some home security cameras for daughter’s house. She can place it inside facing her front porch and backyard as there are windows with deep sills. I have no idea what I need to look for. Something that works like a ring doorbell? Starts recording when there is a motion and alerts her through an app? Any suggestions? Also, do these require a monthly fee? I’ll second Eufy. We have their version of a doorbell camera, one in the garage and several around the outside of our house. We’ve had them for a year now, they don’t need recharged very often and no monthly fee attached

Check out the Eufy cameras/doorbell. We are very happy with ours. No monthly fees, alerts you of movement, records on a local home base. I third the Eufy brand. I have an indoor camera in my front window and it's facing the driveway and I can see who's walking to the front door. It works with wifi and it's app, it also works with Apple Home app. Love it!! And the recording is in the Apple Home app.

I didn’t expect to find anything, but checked anyway. And I found exactly what I had wanted for raised planters when I started looking at them a year ago! I really really wanted the high ones so that I don’t have to bend or crawl around on the ground to tend to them but they were over $250 each. If I was still in my 20s and not going to be moving soon, I could justify spending a grand on vege planters, but I wasn’t going to spend that much at this age and at this house. I ended up getting the galvanized metal, 8 ft long, 2 ft wide, and 2 ft tall. I will do as suggested in a pea comment on here and fill the bottom portion up with something other than soil to start and then add soil as needed down the road. These were only $89 each and will save my knees and back as I work in them. And if I need more planting room once these are in use, I will go with the fabric bags that we talked about earlier. www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRSNLSPB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI also sent a couple of links for SimpliSafe kits on sale to a friend who has been talking about getting something for the last year or so. I thought this might give him the push to do something other than talk about it.

At the condos where my sister lives, they have the galvanized metal garden beds for the residents - and they have them sitting on concrete blocks so they are at the right height for gardening when standing.

This morning I watched a YouTube video on Prime Day tech deals on a channel called Craig's Tech Talk. He spent time talking about different brands of home security and smart home items.

I think it was replaced just a few years ago though.

I had something in my cart earlier today and when I came back to it this evening the price went up! Took it out of my cart and will check tomorrow. Then I notice that when I searched for something else, there is now a "typical price" as well as the lower "exclusive prime price". Has anyone else noticed this?

The mattress topper that I've been wanting is on lightening deal. So I pulled the trigger. Normally $60 and got it for $47.
