The AirPods Pro 2 is the cheapest I've seen for a while and so I surprised DS with some since his died and I hate when he calls on speaker phone with roommates around. He was thrilled and so am I. 😁
I purchased a few smaller items that were in my save for later cart that dropped in price today (shirt, Covid test, Anker usb a to usb c cables for my car, new fine point tweezers...)

I had something in my cart earlier today and when I came back to it this evening the price went up! Took it out of my cart and will check tomorrow. Then I notice that when I searched for something else, there is now a "typical price" as well as the lower "exclusive prime price". Has anyone else noticed this? Not specifically, but I saw the exact same portable monitor that I bought earlier in the week as a lightning deal for $20 MORE than I paid. I haven’t bought anything yet.

I think this is a good deal and a great housewarming gift. Fire blanketI bought a Ring plug in stick up camera for our patio at the cabin. I want to be able to scare the geese off our lawn. Lol I bought a 3 pack of utility scissors, a new programmable thermostat, an artificial olive tree body wash, Crest white strips, allergy pills and body oil. Quite the random cart! And score one enabling point for you. I ordered two of the fire blanket packs, so four blankets total. I've had my eye on these since someone posted about them on this board recently. I'll keep one, and give one to each kid. Actually maybe I'll give two to ds since there are several people, plus four cats and a dog, living in their house...So more chances for something to catch fire in the kitchen. Speaking of fires and dogs, did you see the video of the stove fire? The dog jumped up and put his paws on the front of the stove and in doing so, turned on a burner. And for some reason, the people had put a box or something on top of the back burner. Obviously they were never expecting the stove to be turned on, but it was and started a big house fire. Tall dogs that can reach the edge of a stove and front burner controls are a bad combination that would have never occurred to me before watching that video. www.cnn.com/2024/07/04/us/video/dog-sets-house-on-fire-stove-digvid

I was hoping the Kindle Signature would go on sale, although I guess it technically is, at 5% off. I read that you can do audio books on it and wondered if anyone has used it for that purpose and to read?

A 2 column register book, mouthwash, trying out some lume, travel size face lotion, and a new iPad case.
I’m really excited because I ordered a table top ice maker that makes sonic ice. I’ve been watching them for a couple of years and anticipated getting one on Black Friday. However I’m trying to quit drinking coke and I figure anything that will help me be more excited about water is this.
Plus, I’m telling dh I got it for his bar to make frozen concoctions!

DD’s birthday is next week, so I bought her some things she had on her wish list for her new apt. Pink dish strainer, pink oven mitts, a flower shaped throw pillow, and this robot vacuum. No idea if it’s a good one or not though. 🤷♀️ a.co/d/aGryw63

Luckily it was caught really quick so very minimal damage. I have learned my lesson on that! Nothing on burners.

I got random things. The fire blanket posted earlier A small, purse size flashlight because I can't find mine and I'm very upset by that (not really, but I do love flashlights!) A 2-in-1 olive oil dispenser. It will spray and pour. I've used cooking spray for years on basically everything, and thought this would be better
And DH got a ring camera for the backyard. We have some already but now all of our doors will be covered.

DH didn’t have the cooktop locked after he made breakfast one day. The dog jumped up to get at a stick of butter at the back of the stovetop and he turned on the burner with his paw. Thank God we noticed that the burner was on before the house started on fire. Now we always keep the stovetop locked when we’re not using it.

I went through my list of regular purchases and bought more of anything that was 25% off or more. Exciting, I know!
For anyone who uses IT Cosmetics CC cream, it's $28 right now - a good deal.

I always wondered where people found tiaras. When I was in HS and a class officer, I was in charge of buying the tiaras for homecoming. I bought them at the local jewelry store in town. I had to order them from a catalog and it was pretty fun!

That is an excellent feature. Is it common on all newer stoves? I have no idea how old the stove at my new house is, but I don’t think I can lock it. I will have to look closer. I know one of the previous owners redid the kitchen, I just don’t know when the stove was changed out. It isn’t the one that was original to the home.

You can find it online if you don’t have a copy. Our stove/cooktops have locked for the last 20 years or so. Although I’d guess that in your house, you’re pretty safe unless your little woofer jumps up on the counters!

TankTop I know numerous people have already recommended Eufy for home security, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth as well. We also have a Eufy security camera and we are very happy with it. We got the one that comes with a sensor light. I have a couple of things in my cart: A light box for scanning negatives and slides (I haven't decided to definitely get this yet, because I know I can make do with an app) Musicozy sleep headphones - I bought DSO a set last year and he loves it. I also want to get one to take on our overseas trip next month. I'm not sure whether the links will work for anyone not in Aus.

My special talent is finding items on amazon that meet my criteria for the lowest possible price. So, that's what I did for this. I received it but haven't used it yet. I'll put some olive oil in it tonight and report back if you'd like to know before you buy it. (although it's only $5.99) It seemed nice though. It was this one. They also had the ones that had more of a continuous spray (have you seen that?), but I wanted one that was more of a spray with each pump.
ETA: I put some olive oil in it last night and did a few test sprays with it and it worked just fine.
