It's happening. Biden is Withdrawing

I just found this site: United for Harris. And after pledging to volunteer for Harris (when she's the nominee), it asks about your VP choice, here's the list:

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (MI)

and "Other".

I think TFG's head would fucking explode if Whitmer were on the ticket.

They are now promoting something 47..

Because now you have people like me - who may not necessarily think the democratic option is the greatest thing either. I'd die before I voted for Trump and I'd also die before I voted for someone like Gavin Newsom or Kamala Harris. People like me now don't even want to vote and people who support Trump have drank the kool aid so far they're going to show up en masse and he's going to landslide this election. 

Word is Joe Manchin is considering running for president..

He's 76, that's a nope from me!

At the risk of being thought too negative … JFC. Not in a million years.

And to show that I can back up my position with facts: Manchin and Sinema together torpedoed much of the Biden agenda during the first half of his term by voting with the Republicans (or announcing they would not support large Dem initiatives) after winning as Democrats. They don’t represent our ideals and we can’t trust Manchin to preserve our rights and our democracy.

Because of his age?  Being 77 didn’t stop people from voting for Biden.  Actually I think Manchin would have the best chance of beating Trump. He’s just moderate enough to pull the undecided and independent voters.  He’s the only democrat I would ever consider voting for.

Because he’s a Republican. No thanks - we’ll manage without you.

This is funny. God help us if we decide that we need to find a candidate that you would consider voting for.

I’ve just remembered that Harris is, in outlook and attitude (and only two months from actuality), GenX.
