J.D. Vance is a piece of shit. From "No Trumper" to "Trump d*ck sucker".
I can't wait for men's heads to explode when Kamala becomes the first woman President of the United States.

Thereby endearing himself to the heartbroken women with infertility. Such an asshole. Do not forget Vance's other goals to bar, ALL women's family health/reproductive issues. No birth control, no no-fault divorce, no IVF, thus preventing all women's choices to have children or not. As well as to the protect the lives of all women. Women have no value to the modern republicans... These are FAMILY HEALTH issues not government issues. Where can I find information regarding Vance's other goals mentioned above? I'd like to forward it to someone who likes this choice for VP.

Where is a good place to buy Converse shoes and what insoles might work best with them? I have a ruptured plantar fascia in my left food and Chucks kill them, but I'm going to get some to go with my pearls for the election.

PeteVoteVets @votevets WATCH: Pete Buttigieg drives home just what an incredible leader Kamala Harris will be and commits to doing everything he can to help her win:
"I have campaigned alongside her, I have traveled with her, I have served with her, and she's going to be an extraordinary leader for the ticket, for the party, and for the country as president." ... "We're going to talk about Donald Trump and his unfitness for office and JD Vance and his inability to show any evidence that he believes in anything in any durable way. But honestly most of this campaign will not be about them. It'll be about the American people. And this is a chance to really bring that home."

I'm a romantic and I think it's really admirable how her husband left a successful law practice to support her and stands behind her. He's done a great job as second gentleman, I hope he becomes the first First Gentleman. 2nd gentleman

I think Walz from MN would be a poor choice. Yes, she needs a white male, but he would not debate well, or come out looking well with all the COVID, legalizing Marijuana, George Floyd, etc etc stuff we've been thru, and the whole US looking at it.

I'm not from the midwest and am not familiar with Walz, but I really liked what he had to say here. I think this is a good, positive message for the Democrats and he pushes back well on Vance and the Republicans. He seems down to earth, likable and relatable. I think Shapiro is still my first choice but I would be happy with Beshear or any of the governors from swing states - Whitmer, Walz, Cooper or Pritzker. Not a full transcript, but it's a relatively short clip. Walz
Aaron Rupar @atrupar Tim Walz on Morning Joe: "People like JD Vance know nothing about small-town America ... it's not about hate, it's not about collapsing in. The golden rule there is mind your own damn business ... they're running for the He-Man Women's Hater Club."

I think he does well when he is speaking on his own but I guess haven’t watched him debate. I think the only thing different that Minnesota had to deal with was George Floyd. Personally think he did ok with that in the moment, but hindsight is always 20/20. Many people like having marijuana legal (and I think that was mostly the legislature not walz) although I personally don’t.

I know a lot of people dislike her, but I've been impressed with her lately. And she's absolutely right about the misogynistic and racist comments that will be directed at Harris. Within 24 hours Vance made them. AOC on HarrisRep. @aoc says KamalaHarris is "more than up to the task."
Also warns re: Harris: "It's going to be very important that we brace ourselves for some of the unfair, misogynistic, and racial undertones, overtones, explicit attacks and implicit attacks that she may be subject to."

A lot of people think that most of the damage could have been avoided if Walz had called in the natl guard, on day 1...vs 2-3 days later. There's also the vetting of the marijuana lead for the state that was messed up. The whole feed the children COVId prog that people took money from. Not giving us back the surplus money MN has. I could go on, and I'm a dem and voted for him, and like him. He won't do well nationally.

They aren’t going to vote for any Democrat no matter what so they’re irrelevant to this question. (I have a lot of family there.)

My understanding is that the republican legislature kept him from giving the money back right away because they wanted to have that be their thing and something they could use as a talking point. We did get a refund payment on the end.

Just because an area is said to be red or blue doesn’t mean that there aren’t voters there that vote differently. Duluth is also a very blue area.

I think the republicans decreased the amt given back, and it was a joke. Plus there was still surplus left.

Duluth is also a very blue area. There are always little pockets of red/blue in areas. I would consider Duluth part of the metro/bigger population. Moorhead was also blue I think, the rest of Mn is predominantly red. If you are considering the St cloud area as part of your area, then yes, but Sauk and little falls, Brainerd, they are all red.

I just ordered some black Converse chucks. I've wanted some for a while, just because I like them, but I wondered if I am too old to wear them. (I'm 61) Holy cow, they were hard to find! LOL I finally found some on Kohl's website, so we will see if I actually end up with them.

I'm 65 and embarrassed to say how many pair I have. I wear them a lot during the spring after mud season, and fall, when it gets too cold for sandals. I wore them with pearls before that was a Kamala thing. I put insoles in them and I find them very comfortable. You will rock them!
