Just got the e-mail that they're having 24% off in honor of the Olympics: 24% off in honor of the 2024 Olympics! From personal experience, I purchased a Dark Brandon mug that changed colors when you add coffee, and I accidentally knocked it off my desk and it bounced off the hardwood floors and didn't have a scratch. ETA: Code is OLYMPICS It's a sign!!! |

. The normal width shows are wider than they look and I think wider than they used to be. My daughters like them bc they can get their orthotics and ankle braces in them My feet are very wide at the toe base and I've never been able to wear regular Converse comfortably. They are by no means wide. I was excited to see the post about wide widths available, though, and have ordered a pair to try out. I do wish they came in more colors.  ETA: it just occurred to me to look at their custom site, and sure enough, they have added a wide width to their offerings! So you can get any of their custom colors and designs available in wide AND order a comfort base with more support. I'm going to wait and see how the wide ones I ordered fit, and if I like them, I may invest in a more colorful custom pair. I have one kid with wide feet who er have a hard time fitting in most shoes and we’ve been able to get wide width converse on about any color she wants. She does prefer the high tops and feels like they are slightly wider. My older daughter has more narrow feet but she can fit her orthotics and braces on the regular width. We’ve never tried the comfort base because we pull all insoles out for orthotics. They are the easiest shoes to get the i soles out of if you need to replace the insoles. |

Now everyone just needs to carry the momentum and enthusiasm to the ballot box in November. My family is all deeply political and we will all be voting the way we should, but it makes me proud that my 80 year old mother has made a contribution to Kamala's campaign. After Hillary lost I really gave up hope of America ever voting a woman president. My god I hope we have one next year. |

It’s hard for me because I really enjoyed the Ms Marvel Disney+ show and the lead character is also named Kamala and pronounced differently. Ka-mall-a This! Plus I read a book with a main character named "Kamala" and I had the above pronunciation in my head. I hadn't heard the comma-luh explanation but going to try and remember that. I've been trying to tell my self "calm-uh-luh" (I don't pronounce the L in calm) but "comma" is better, thanks! I went to School with a girl named Kamala and she pronounced ut Ka mul uh accent on the Ka ( like the beginning of Karen )so this pronunciation was new to me but I always think of Pres Obama saying it and that sticks. But comma la will also stick in my mind. |
