Complaint of the day

I had my hair cut a week ago. I hadn't figured out how to style it just right. Wouldn't you know, I did an amazing job this morning. My hair looks great today. And I have no where to even go to show it off. I only had one online meeting and it was with a bunch of middle aged men who don't give a flip about my hair.

Merge Xfinity/Comcast's website is the WORST for that. I recently was working on cutting our cable package to the bare minimum - just local news channels, nothing else. Keep internet the same. Seemed pretty straight forward. Went through the website, got to the review order page... and my bill is now $20 higher than it was before, not the $50 lower that it should have been.

Somehow, 3 add-on channels and a second cable box got added. Okay, I thought, no big deal. I'll go through the site again, make sure they're checked as "remove" as I thought they were before. ... Same thing happens.

I had to get on their chat feature two separate times and have them settle it for me. What a pain!

My petty complaint is that I'm in kind of a lot of pain and I can't get in to see the physical therapist until Tuesday. It hurts to sit, it hurts to stand and I've got too much to do to lie down all day. I'm on the max doses of ibuprofen and acetaminophen for arthritis so there's nothing else to take. And I have no idea what I did to be in so much pain.

Pretty sure I am the only one with this complaint today. My vet had to do a glad squeeze on my oldest pup. She said it came out like tooth paste. Poor guy. We go back in 8 weeks.

Adding a second one: We put up board and batten in the dining room (love), but now the large piece of artwork has to go in front of the 2.5 inch ledge. We've done lots of mathing and reworking for this project.

The noisy physicians who have their own offices but do their water cooler talk in the empty cubicle next to my cubicle. I've offered to trade them my cubicle if they really don't like being in their offices but no one has taken me up on that. So I passive aggressively stare at them repeating on my phone "I'm sorry I can't hear you -there's too much noise". They never take the hint.

My petty complaint is that my office is FREEZING. I spend the first hour sweating to death and then the rest of the day wrapped up in a blanket. My hands are so cold, and this blanket ruins the look of my cute outfit!

Someone honked at me in traffic even though they were the one in the wrong. The audacity!

I just went down the rabbit hole on You Tube. Apparently, this is a problem with the Dyson I bought. There is different hacks to try. That is my dh's department. I am going to have him watch a few videos and pick one to try. One guy says it has too much suction and that is why you can't push it. 

I got sworn at in work today, when I tried to help a dyslexic patient get the right medication sent to the right destination after they'd ordered the wrong item.

My complaint is that I went with DH on service calls yesterday.  He always buys me lunch and I picked the place though there wasn't much to choose from in this part of Charlotte.  A 4.7 Google review and the food was horrible!  The only reason I ate any of it was we were in a hurry, it was about to storm and I didn't want to stop somewhere else. No wonder he takes a sandwich with him when he goes by himself.

Speaking of algorithms, I’ve been signed up to an online dating site for a few months and they keep showing me all these topless men with suspect dental situations and poor grammar. I have never once swiped right on anyone like this, so why do they keep showing them to me? (And yes, it has struck me that maybe this is all there is, but that thought is too horrifying to comprehend. 😱) 

And today I was propositioned by a 37-year-old! Really? 🤦🏼‍♀️ (I’m 60.)
