scrapbook.com is coming out with a set of scalloped rectangle dies. The measurements don't match exactly but it's still a nice set, especially at $13.99. Scalloped rectangle dies

Stamps! I ended up using a gift card I had to get the Number set, which I liked from day 1 knowing it is something I can and will reuse all year long, the Paislee Press set bc I really love the Merry Era stamp and think the Dec Stamp block stamp will look great with the numbers, and the #6 Alphas are awesome. Ali used that set in a sample and I just loved it. I know I will get all year long use with that one.
I still really like the ginger folks and the trees. I have a bad habit of buying Christmas stamps that go unused so trying to be smart plus stamps are so expensive!!

Oh hello, LFF (Little Foster Fail). Whats your name?! You are precious! Twilly joined us this summer and was an instant foster fail. She's super sweet and funny. We joke she has a bit of dachshund (long back) and a bit of giraffe (looong neck) in her. š Can't wait to photograph her in all things wintery for DD! Iām watching Pamās DD idea videos on Aliās blog. I just absolutely love her. She has such cute ideas, I love her style, her voice and demeanor is so soothing and enjoyable. Pam is such a great teacher with a wonderful sense of creativity, hard agree. š

Has anyone heard anything about Pinkfresh Studio's 2024 holiday collection? Last year, they revealed Holiday Dreams on their blog on September 1st. This year, so far, nothing about the new holiday line (if there is one). I'm a little worried. Especially since none of the main scrapbook vendors in Western Europe carried Holiday Dreams (much to my chagrin).

I kinda feel like you would get the binder then you could add recipes in. My mom still has hers. And I thought Pinkfresh said earlier this year that they weren't making scrapbook stuff anymore. Was that them or someone else with a P?

Was that them or someone else with a P?This is what happens when you've not looked at anything scrapbooking since the start of the year! I had no clue. Off to investigate (and drown my sorrows in a cup of coffee if that's the case - first Pink Paislee, now Pinkfresh? Life's unfair for the clean, adult aesthetic scrapbookers!). ETA: Pinkfresh announced "pausing" SB products on March 4th. Y'all. Y'ALL! What am I going to do? No Kelly Purkey, no Pinkfresh (and it was Geralyn Sy's turn for a holiday line this year, too š). What are us clean girls supposed to do now? Somebody pass me the smelling salts and fainting chair. This is not ok. I'm not ok.

The stamp pre-order has been extended until 11:59 PM ET tonight, FYI. Did I miss the stamp extension? Pam used one of the stamp sets with the tree to stamp a pattern to use as a background. Plus the āHolly Jollyā on the set is the name of an event Iām going to this year, so I think itād be useful. Iām traveling for work so havenāt been paying attention.

I went back and looked to see where else āHolly Jollyā shows up and itās the plastic word pieces that include āLe Tits Nowā. I love the holly jolly, but canāt support such bad design. lol I think Iāll get creative with my letter stickers or figure out my Cricut to make my own. On a side note, I just got my hands on some vintage Christmas photos of my dh and his family. They are so good! Think tinsel tree, turquoise, and deckled edges. Iām so excited to include them in my DD this year. And I found out I donāt have to travel for work in December, Iām so happy to get the full month at home.

I still have that one! This, and a couple of Betty Crocker cookbooks that my grandma got me when I got married are the only ones that Iāve never been able to part with. I never use actual cookbooks anymore, but these traditional old school ones are strangely sentimental, and comforting to me!š¤·āāļøšš„°

My mom keeps telling me to take stuff whenever I go home. I think I'll add this to my list. She's crazy. I swear one christmas she's going to give everyone a pack of sticky notes and tell them to mark what they want. For YEARS every time weād give a gift to my grandmother, she would sayā¦ āNow, when Iām gone, this is yours!ā Really sucks the fun right out of gift giving! One year, my sister gave her a pair of Express jeans, totally distressed with holes and fringe nearly the length of the front. My grandmother looked horrified. My sister saidā¦ well, I know what youāre going to say, and I donāt want any old lady slacks! Everyone had a huge laugh. Gram kept saying it though LOL I have a Tiffany floor lamp that hasnāt been plugged in since the day I carried it out of her senior apartment. Iāve lugged it through 3 statesā¦ andā¦ 5 homes in 20ish years. Probably never will plug it in. But my God, she LOVED IT! One of my favorite gifts I ever gave ā¤ļø ETA: Gram didnāt have a lot of possessions and didnāt have an official will. When we all gathered to read what sheād left (small family and alot had gathered from out of state to be there at the end), sheād labeled alot of things so we knew what she was referring to. In her letter, it said she was leaving me a topaz ring. When her jewelry was opened up, there was a ring box with a store label that described a certain size and type of topaz and diamond ring. The adhesive on the label wasnāt sticky any more, and sheād written my name on it. Interestingly, there was a ring in the box (I knew it well, she often wore it to church) but it wasnāt a topaz ring at all. It was a ring with small sapphires and tiny diamonds. Many of both missing, and they werenāt missing when I saw her wear it. I never did see a topaz ring. I donāt even remember her having a topaz ring.. but I didnāt know she had silver flatware, either. She saved things for an occasion, sadly. Anyway, to this day, Iāve never had that ring fixed or worn it. Iāve considered melting it down and repurposing the gold and stonesā¦ but I still feel like it isnāt mine. My guess is the topaz is in my uncles wifeās jewelry box, along with the coins that he stole from our collections she made for us. Based on the description on the slip in the box with the sapphire ringā¦ it was a nice sized topaz with nice sized diamonds, I wouldnāt put it past him to have switched them. Anyway, long tangent lol just spurred a memory, thank you!
