Up first in our thread, the new Tyler Hynes movie which is an official collab with the Kansas City Chiefs! US fans, rejoice. Your Thanksgiving weekend is about to get extra football-y (and romantic). Oh my gosh. That looks so incredibly cheesy and sports are involved. I'm here for it! I did recognize an actress I love. Fabulous actress and singer.
Red & cream 6x8 large spine binder (universal 2-ring) by Simple Stories (comes with paper inserts + a few page protectors for $22) in the Simple Vintage Holly Jolly collection: I think I may buy it, even though I don't want the inserts. Yes, it brings back memories of the infamous Betty Crocker cookbook. My mom has made the chocolate chip recipe for decades! I know there's others, but that's what I remember.
I like to find vintage cookbooks just for the graphics on front. Think retro goodness with meat filled jello molds.  |

On Ali's blog, Jill is sharing some ideas. I LOVE that she used the kraft envelope and turned it into a reason why for the front cover. Brilliant, I plan on doing the same.

Is the stuff that showed up in the DD sale category yesterday the entirety of what will be offered? I thought they were releasing new old stuff each day once it was to begin, but it’s the same today as yesterday.

I added the WITL mini album. I think it will be good for a travel journal -- or even WITL. At the time, I thought the full price was just too much. But with the shipping already paid for and the price, it was definitely worth it.

Well apparently I got tipsy (I’m on vacation) and ordered more DD crap - a stamp, 3*8 journal cards that I didn’t need, and die cut trees.

Anyone know if these coordinate with anything? Chipboard? A stamp? That tag looks to be the same size of the chipboard tags in DITL and many of the SBTM kits. I can measure when I get home if you want. I think it's a die they use often. And this stamp: aliedwards.com/shop/make-story-stampThe work story stamp also has those three same shapes. |

I've pulled some beloved and hoarded die-cuts from Kelly Purkey/Paper Person (thank you, Peas, again!) and Pinkfresh Studio (I'm still in mourning) and I think I'm ready to finally get around to doing 6x8, multiple-years-in-one-album style of DD. I think. I am so tempted to go mini again but realistically, this is more manageable in terms of space (limited in my apartment).
I have so far pulled die-cuts + Thickers + papers that will allow me to build these pages:
1. Gifts purchased for family members (including to ship to family living far away);
2. Mini DITL for Christmas Eve (traditionally, the 24th is the big Christmas celebration day where I live);
3. "Portrait wall" of family members (including the dogs, of course 🐶💗) with a couple of December facts for each person (finally putting those foam/chipboard frames to use!).
I've also pulled my beloved Heidi Swapp chipboard alpha Thickers to brainstorm which metallic embossing powder to use on them.
It's truly beginning to look a lot like December Daily around here... (AKA messy table) ✂️📝📸

Angela Kinsey from the Office is in a Hallmark movie!!!
Two of my favorite worlds are uniting.
She hinted in a recent Office Ladies podcast that she was filming something her family was super excited about so this must be it.
Brian (who played Kevin) makes a cameo in it.
I'll watch (as I watch them all). This will be fun.

Hallmark has just revealed the full list today and I'm looking forward to many of them. There's even a '90s Christmas movie! Angela will feature in Confessions of a Christmas Letter, premiering on Nov. 17, in which she plays a quirky matriarch Settie who wishes to enter her town's holiday letter-writing contest and enlists the help of struggling novelist Juan (played by Alec Santos) to write the perfect letter. When Juan is mistaken for her daughter's fiancé, the family scrambles to keep up the charade. As Juan bonds with the family and helps craft her letter, Settie learns that that her imperfect family is what makes her story so special. My only concern is that Heidi's products tend to be more cream/off-white based than white like Elle's Studio. And my little neurospicy brain just cannot deal with having those two mixed  |
