I finally had a chance to go through my items and the only thing amiss is the white (grey? blue? greenish?) puffy stickers from the main kit - three of the "3" are missing. I likely won't complain as I don't see myself using all 14 of the 3's anyway. I agree with everyone about the size - everything is uniformly TOO BIG.
If any of Ali's design team are reading - please, some smaller embellishments next year. UGH. I hate that. I suspect thats why Ali is choosing the 6x8 size this year - so she can show that it's workable.

I have done 10x8 the last several years and was thinking I would do 6x8 this year for a change but after seeing everything I'm thinking of sticking with 10x8. I really do love that size anyway. I'm thinking the same thing. Although I suspect I'm going to looooovvve Ali's pages and want to copy everything. I'm torn. I'm going to have the same problem. I always end up copying a lot of her pages. I wonder if she will change her mind and do 10x8 since the products are definitely geared to that?

Do we know if any of her design team (or whatever they’re called) is doing a 10x8?

Check your orders peas - mine was missing the moments and memories die cut pages 😢 conversation with ae started I second this. I received the "Be Merry Plastic Phrases" but upon closer inspection, I noticed ONE of the phrases was offset. The printed letters were shifted to the left, getting cut into. The rest were fine.

I went through things in more detail last night. I saw a couple of posts on insta about Blue washi tape issues and mine is definitely unusable. I suggest you unroll 6 inches or more of of your roll to see if you have the same issue. Basically, the blue is coming off as you unroll it - it is a lot like what can happen with an old roll of washi that starts to disintegrate. I was not really planning to use that roll anyway, but given how many people have already posted about issues, I would definitely suggest you check yours.
The white puffy numbers do have more of a cool grey is cast to them, but I really like them regardless - it reminds me of the color of the felt trees last year..
On the size of everything, yes, there is a lot of bigger stuff, but I am loving the quality and creativity of things this year and I am not worried about size - every year with the things I think I don’t like or won’t use, I am always pleasantly surprised by the lessons, blog posts, etc with ways people use the products I end up loving.
Last night I figured out that the inside lining of the red star album matches the light kraft die cut phrases and trees so I adhered the large “December”, “twenty twenty four” and all 3 of the big kraft trees on the front inside cover and I am loving how that looks. When I originally saw those pieces I thought there is no way I will use any of these, but they really look sharp on that inside cover.

Thanks, Texas Scrap. I just checked my blue washi tape. Is it supposed to look distressed? Or is that a manufacturing error? I'm thinking the latter...

There’s a typo in the 3x8 cards. A cardstock one that says “merry + birght”. 🙄

Looking through my digital files though and I don’t see it. It’s such a blatant typo. It’s not like when they do a word error, like using quit instead of quiet. Like, my eyes immediately grabbed the mistake as I flipped though them. I don’t understand how it wasn’t noticed.

I took a good look at it last night, I believe it is supposed to be slightly distressed. My issue with is that is barely sticky. I will have to tape the tape. Bah.

Unsure if this is the right place or if this should be its own thread, but in the past we’ve chatted about advent calendars here. I love having one for myself but have struggled in the past to find a good one! I have the Ali Edward’s sticker one but this year I also was sent one to review from Hubman & Chubgirl that was new to me and it was actually pretty good, especially if you’re into journaling/planning/scrapbooking like me. I have a video on my YouTube in case anyone was interested! I did unbox/share spoilers, but I also put up a spoiler warning if you just want to see the intro to get an idea of what's included without spoilers. Annnnd I was hopping on here to say how much I love my kit, LOL. I will be checking my washi later (fingers crossed). I unboxed and looked at everything in detail and overall I'm really impressed with the amount of product in the main and the quality which seems to be better than what we've seen in the past (notwithstanding the washi and the 3x8 cards).

I would love more advent calendar ideas. That one lasteve1 is way out of my price range. I will probably try to find something for me in addition to the Ali Edwards one that I already have been opening. Mainly I need something for my 16 year old. In the past we have done: jam, popcorn, funko pop (nothing new she's interested in), legos (too old now), and playmobil (also too old). I saw a taylor swift one but it looked scammy. There is one of tiny little puzzles on Amazon and we might get that. She and my husband like stuff like that. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B5V6R7R4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A1R7GWMY0LBXCV&psc=1She's not really into makeup. joblackford you have helped in the past. What are you seeing this year?

Linda that advent calendar is very cute.

Mainly I need something for my 16 year old. In the past we have done: jam, popcorn, funko pop (nothing new she's interested in), legos (too old now), and playmobil (also too old). It was around age 16 that I ran out of premade ones that were good for my daughter and started making it myself. It ended up being a huge hit and I'm still doing it with her (she's now 19). It's definitely more work, but I have had a lot of fun personalizing little gifts for her. In the past I've included ideas like: $5 gift cards to starbucks, dunkin, mcdonalds, etc., chapsticks, pens, stickers, $5, small makeup items, candy, gum, nail polish, jewelry, etc. I bought a pocket calendar that hangs on the wall the first time I did it and have reused it every year that she was at home. Starting last year she was away at college so I have just been wrapping small gifts and adding numbers + giving it to her at Thanksgiving. Not necessarily the answer you were looking for, but it's definitely a way to do one that is more personalized. janamke I did a tea one for myself one year from David's Tea. It was very nice, but they piled up because I don't drink tea everyday. Still, it was a fun way to try different teas.

Thinking tea or the jam one. I highly recommend the jam one (bonne maman I think). And there are lots of different tea ones. I buy my mom a licorice one from lakridis. It's pricey but it's my mom and she really likes it. This is the third year now that I've gotten it for her. I give it to her a Thanksgiving. If you order straight from them you get a free gift of a jar of licorice.

I would also like advent ideas. Maybe something for the whole family? Thinking tea or the jam one. Linda that advent calendar is very cute. The Bonne Maman jam one is quite fun. I got it on amazon a couple of years ago. I just checked and it looks like they have a 24 spread advent one and now a 12 days version. Technically they’re spreads because they’re more sugar than fruit, but the flavors were really nice and it’s just the right amount for two people to have on English muffins or toast each day. They only piled up a little. The empty jars can be an issue though - very cute and tiny, very tempting to keep them all! I regifted quickly to people who thought they’d use them for something because I knew I’d lie to myself about using them and they’d just be clutter in my house. I haven’t really seen anything so far. I just did a google search to see if any of my favorite chocolate makers had a calendar and found some cute options at uncommon goods. I haven’t purchased from them but there are some ideas that could be DIYed or searched from other stores that might have better quality versions (I don’t know if I’d trust some of these companies to have good chocolate or tea no matter how cute the box is). I like the idea of a puzzle advent calendar, which seems to be one of their bestsellers. www.uncommongoods.com - advent calendars is one of their trending searches.

I bought these advent calendars this year :
Ali’s sticker calendar 12 days of mini puzzles 12 days of favored chapsticks 12 days Bonne M spreads/jam. Was glad to see 12 days offered because 24 days of jam is too much for us but 12 days could be fun.

Finally got my package after it sitting at the post office for the weekend. Everything looks great and I'm not going to lie, I had expectations of missing items. I'm loving the navy accents, something I didn't really notice through the computer screen. My blue washi is fine, it does have a bit if distressing but I think that was purposeful? All the papers are gorgeous and I'm happy with the specialty card pack. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the dove icons, but I knew that before I bought.
