Those pic's of Padbear are amazing. And I like how you placed the filmstrip accents to look like sets of shelves--maybe wobbling shelves?

grammadee - love the before and after layout for the school - how fun to see the changes! And I love how you extended the sketch to two pages for the lake layout - the torn paper at the bottom is perfect! And your cards are all fabulous! Love the torn edges there to give texture and that butterfly is beautiful

Whew! Peas are busy scrappin'! Just caught up--I think--on Flickr. Want to leave some love here before the next batch of scrappy goodness hits! Linda, your LO's are each so interesting to look at. Those cats are charmers. And I love how you interpreted the sketches so far this month, converting the square designs to rectangular seemingly effortlessly. You take the most interesting photos, and then you scrap them so creatively. If I see a cat in a sink, I am not likely to go grab a phone or camera to snap a photo LOL. Love the pic's of the deer outside your window with the camping pp, the overflowing creek and after storm photos scrapped in that pretty green.

27 April 2024 sketchy Saturday using Piggy Tales Thumbelina line (papers and stickers - released in 2010), the paper edge is die cut and the stamp is Shimelle Main Character, I think.

Summer Reading by BreetheFlea, on Flickr Two layouts from this week that are not part of SKETCHtember and not posted elsewhere. DS is not the biggest fan of reading, so it was super exciting that he decided on his own to start and finish the summer reading program. Father's Day by BreetheFlea, on Flickr I should make a separate page about the kids' nickname for their dad... Not my favorite page ever, and the journaling needs to be rewritten so it makes sense... but it's done for now.

Ooh, I just had a quick scroll through but you’ve already been busy grammadee ! Love a good comparison page, kids can grow so much in one school year. Linda your shelves are well stocked with cats! Haha. And I recognize that postbox die you got for your birthday It’s so fun. breetheflea love that your kiddo was self-motivated to do summer reading! I thought I better glue down some of these cards and share them before I get too far into using this paper collection. I think I’m going to need another paper pad because I’ve barely even touched the die cuts. I’ve been having too much fun with the Waffle Flower Paws Up die Aug 2021 Sheetload sketch as a starting point. Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Thanks everyone! breetheflea - two cats are better than one...just saying! I love your reading page! That's awesome he did the summer reading all on his own. Those kitty cards are adorable joblackford. And I'm wondering if I need to put the Waffle Flower Paws Up die on my wishlist before Christmas...your cards inspired me to add the postbox one earlier and now I have it

And I'm wondering if I need to put the Waffle Flower Paws Up die on my wishlist before Christmas...your cards inspired me to add the postbox one earlier and now I have it Thanks. It's pretty cute... and it's a nice small set with options - you can add stripes of fur or not, just do the paw print, or make a bookmark with the whole arm... I had to look up toe bean colors! using lots of small pinkish scraps I used WF's premade kitty sentiments for the white on black strips - not very cost effective for bulk making but so easy! I have a vision for having the paw come up and grab at Xmas lights or the bottom of a tree/ornament but I haven't made that happen yet.

Here are my pages from the last couple of days, meeting SKETCHtember challenges 6, 7, and 8. For 6 and 7, I created a double page spread. Background story, I made the mistake of applying the term 'beta" to my dgs's second oldest brother, thinking of Beta as meaning second, as in B follows A. He informed me this was a HUGE insult to his brother, and then launched into a long language lesson. I took these notes when I got home, so hope I got this right LOL. Gen z as a second language by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And here is my take on today's challenge, SKETCHtember #8. I have a story by Gramma Dee, on Flickr and a couple of panels filling in between the pages above Five pages (100), created & shared (10). Fifteen photos scrapped for the Donna challenge(15). Three SKETCHtember challenges (15). P-1 tag, P-6 glitter, P-12 papers from twenty years ago, S/I-6 sneakers, S/I-9 to-go cup, S/I-12 globe, S/I-15 arrow, S/I-20 wreath shape, C/M-9 backed in black, C/M-18 grey, T-1 make a splash, W/T-4 large title, W/T-7 definitions, N/S-5 number (age). Total: 154.

Great layouts grammadee - I got serious points from DD17 for actually using demure and mindful correctly recently. Not sure how old your DGS are but if they're not yet teens, they're probably Gen Alpha Love the roadways on your story layout and the balloons under the title on the panels
