Non-directional 6x8 would be great, too.

A couple of LO's from yesterday. This first one is for yesterday's Sketchy Saturday. Change of Command 2024 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And this one I just let the 49&Market pp decide where I should put the other elements: Dad Grad by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

I had every intention of "zombifying" the Jolly Holiday event thread, but since you're posting here, justjac, here are my last two as well: My first spinner cards -- both are flawed but should get the job done!

Linda, I am amazed by how quickly you had boots on the ground--or fingers on the paper--after your trip! Congrats on catching up on CARDtober. One of my favourites is the white on white embossed sympathy card. And then you went ahead and caught up with the SG 52 week challenge! My fav htere was the overlapping film strips. But a close second was the page with the split blue squares in the background: did you cut those triangles? Or were they the design on the paper? Your photography of birds and animals--including your kitties--always impresses me, and I love all the different ways you scrap them. That QE II with Paddington is one of my favourite images, and I love that you saved it and how you scrapped it! It's also nice to see so many photos of YOU these days! There is love for most of your posts in Flickr, breetheflea, but I just wanted to say finishing an October Daily does not seem like "slow progress" to me. There is also love for your sweet baby pages on Flickr, scrappyrabbit. So fun to see baby bunny's first Halloween! That dimensional sunflower card is gorgeous, joblackford! So much work, and so worth it. Cheery, indeed! I will catch your November Share on Flickr. Your New Years Dusk LO looks like a magazine spread, AussieMeg! Love the colours and how the whole design flows from left to right. I think I caught all your creations on Flickr, justjac. Love how you move from one size canvas to another with such ease. LOVE your spinner cards with the embossing, Shakti! Might have to lift those designs.

Gingerbread by BreeTheFlea, on Flickr I left the rectangle sticker blank because I can't decide what year DS did this worksheet and when I actually took a photo of it... I usually only have to play detective on photos from my childhood

Soccer Saturday by BreeTheFlea, on Flickr No specific date on this one because apparently, my camera in 2014 decided it was December 31, 2050 for a few days and dated a bunch of pictures incorrectly... due to Easter photos also being in this "era" it was probably April 2014. Glad to get this one scrapped, even with the unknown date.

Catching up on this thread… so much inspiration here! justjac - beautiful pages and cards! I love the papers and what you’ve done with the strips. I need to check out those Allison Davis sketches. Is the “Enjoy this journey” an art journal page? Very pretty! grammadee - love all these pages and all the photos you got on there! I’m going to go find that Sketchy Saturday post and try out that sketch. Looks like a fun time with your friends! Shakti - those cards are so pretty! They look perfect to me! breetheflea - love the page with DS’s worksheet, great to capture that! Sweet photos on the other layout and great colours. scrappyrabbit - these are lovely pages. Beautiful papers and photos and I love the balance on your layouts.

Two LO's for today. this first one is for Sketchy Saturday November 2nd When every day is best day ever! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr No sketch for this one. I fussy cut the big 9 from some PhotoPlay pp, and although I have a thousand shets of paper, I "gutted" the 49&Market sheet to make the 2-photo mat for the second page. Alright crafty and clever friends... I'm in need of some help for a scrapbook page. I am going to do a page similar to the cover page I made for our Philadelphia trip (https://www.instagram.com/cary.scraps/p/C1iKt9qxZtn/), but 8 of the squares will be tiny highway sign dies (https://www.snapncrop.com/Mosaic_Moments_Highway_Signs_Die_Set).
I am going to print off small titles for the upper portion of the sign and numbers for different data about our trip. I have 7 ideas so far, but am completely blanking on what to do for the last one! Here's what I've got so far: 701 photos taken 1,244 miles driven 40,592 steps walked 13 sites seen $73.15 in tolls 4 days 38/59 Average high and low
Any ideas would be very appreciated! 😊

@rhymeswithpurple - hours driven? gallons/litres of gas?
Awesome idea - I love it and hope you share the finished page

Linda Ooh, thank you! I will absolutely post pages (probably to my crafty Instagram, and I'll try to remember to post some here). I am also planning on taking some stills from the dashcam for things we may not have been able to snap quick pictures of (we were the weirdos who stopped at a certain rest stop in New Jersey [they're named after famous people from the state], but the James Gandolfini one (where we purposely stopped) is only a park and ride right now as they redo the gas station and food area, so we couldn't get a picture of the outside with his name on it, but I know the dashcam will have the turn off sign. We also didn't get the chance to get a picture of the sign outside of Lake Placid showing it hosted the '32 and '80 Olympics. Could I grab a photo from online? Sure. But what's the fun of that? 😂

Pancakes by BreeTheFlea, on Flickr Weird color choice for this layout (of a trip to the coast) but I was trying to use up that October Afternoon Pancakes sticker, and also use the colors of the menu. One page (of several) of an overnight (no kids!) trip DH and I took for our anniversary this past fall.

If you have kids, how many times asked "are we there yet?" I was thinking maybe something with states! (And it's just me and DH, but we referenced the online post "The millennial urge to go ‘i could live here’ after 2 days." a number of times.) My other thought was memorable meals. We ate pretty simply for breakfast and lunch (bananas, coffee, and PB sandwiches from home the way up, continental breakfast from the hotels on days 2 and 3, and Burger King for lunch one day), but we enjoyed the dinners we had (still thinking about the most incredible sauce I've ever had on gnocchi) and we got to meet up with my younger brother for breakfast on the last day (oh goodness that lox sandwich.... 🤤). We also both burned the roofs of our mouths so badly for pizza one night, but man, it was so worth it.

Funny story about this one... As I was putting away supplies from yesterday morning's crafting, I accidentally upended a small ziplock of diecut leaves (some I had purchased over the years, some I had diecut from scraps), and they cascaded into a big pile on my scrap counter. Incidentally, in the envelope of pic's I am working through were a set of pic's shared by my ddil of their kids jumping into a pile of leaves. And so I had to play with my OWN pile of leaves... A Pile of FUN! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr One of my fav shots is of just the boys' feet sticking out of the pile, so I went to my Jaded Blossom gnome dies to find a set of legs and shoes. Can you see them sticking out of the leaf pile on the page?

No Title by BreeTheFlea, on Flickr And another one. If my layouts seem random, none of my photos are inspiring me so I've been reaching into the pile, and whatever I grab first that's what I'm scrapping. I forgot to put a title on this one, maybe later.
