I really thought Andy was going home. He is definitely a loose cannon and who knows what he'll do next.

Very bummed with the outcome. I hope Team Yellow loses again next week so they lose another player.
I also thought Andy was faking - he fell so fast and seemed to be milking it.

I am disappointed Jon is out. He seemed like he would have been an interesting player to watch strategize and have interesting comments in his one on ones with the Camera. I bet his final speech if he made It to the finale would have been great 😂
Andy is pointless to keep imo. He a loose cannon. He couldn’t be counted on for challenges really and who knows what info he will give up when all the tribes are together. They should have let him Go.
I like the extra layers to the immunity idol. Seems more interesting and makes them work for it more. They probably changed it up with the good for one and good for three, etc since so many idols went home in pockets last season and they want the drama in the tribals.

Just finished the 1 1/2 hour episode. A lot of it was the yellow tribe babysitting Andy. He got away when the babysitter was going to the bathroom. He found that Beware Advantage and decided to save it for later. Babysitter comes back, finds Andy gone so he goes looking for the idol. Finds the Beware, takes it and finds the box. I think everyone knows except Andy. I haven't learned many names yet. Meanwhile, TK is ticking off the girls on his beach by talking nonstop while two of the gals are trying to sleep. Rome is also ticking off his tribe because he is such a braggart. This episode showed a lot of unlikeable people! Yellow tribe wins the immunity/reward challenge. The funniest thing was a ball was hidden in a huge bag of rice and while 3 tribe member were working the ball around a maze, Rachel was putting rice in her pockets. I told DH I would have done the same thing. Jeff called her out and made her empty her pockets but liked that she tried! The tribe with TK, Kyle, Sue (older blonde), Caroline & two others were the losers of the challenge. TK berated his team for losing. Although they have made their team more weak, they voted out TK by a vote of 4-2 over Sue. I felt bad for Kyle because I like him. TK took it better than I thought he would. One guy, who had an idol, played it even though he wasn't even talked about.

Yeah, I didn’t quite understand why, and I haven’t learned all the names yet either, that one guy used his idol. There was no reason to. When I saw that the balls were in bags of rice I really thought that maybe the team that won and maybe the second place team would get to take the race home with them but when they showed her putting the rice in her pocket I was laughing hysterically. That episode could’ve been done in an hour instead of 90 minutes.

First, if it went to rocks like it really could have, playing the idol meant he wouldn’t have to. And second., he found it once so he probably feels like he can do it again. The idol always goes back. I’m glad TK left, he was so annoying. The guy on the red team (Rome? ) better start packing if they lose.

The idol was played because it was only good for the first time the tribe went to tribal council. There wasn’t a reason to not play it.

And second., he found it once so he probably feels like he can do it again. The idol always goes back. I think you are correct on both counts. He was hedging what would happen if Tiyanna voted for Sue and they went to rocks. It was all about protecting himself. The idol was played because it was only good for the first time the tribe went to tribal council. There wasn’t a reason to not play it. Gabe had a three tribal idol. Sam has a one tribal (why he stopped at one I have no idea because everyone except Andy knows he has it so he could have kept looking for the next clue) and I can't remember how many tribals Rome's is good for. Rice-gate was the funniest thing I have seen in a while. Loving Rachel! We were LOLing when the camera went in for the close-up. Would have loved her to get to camp and try cook it without production seeing. Agree that there are a few unlikeable characters. Sam and Gabe are playing a "surround myself with women because I'm so much smarter than them" game that bothers me. Especially Gabe with all the weak, lost birds talk. Although Caroline isn't all in with him, given that she just graduated from business school. I do like Kyle and hope he recovers. Definitely would like to see him and Tiyanna go far on Blue. Teeny and Kishan are my favorites from Red, although there are a few I'm not sure we have seen speak yet.

Once again each team had to send a player on a *Journey*. Kyle and Anika lost their vote but, alas, Rome got a Steal-a-Vote advantage. I had turned to DH and said that, of course, Rome will get the advantage. And he did. I find him annoyingly obnoxious.
Aysha and Sol were the two on the bottom after their tribe lost. Unfortunately, when Teeny and Kishan approached Aysha with the plan to vote out Sol, Aysha balked and said she wanted to vote for Genevieve instead because of her alliance with Rome.
In the end, Aysha voted for Genevieve, Teeny voted for Sol, Sol voted for Rome, and the rest of the votes fell on Aysha. (Worth noting: Not a single one of them spelled her name correctly, and Rome’s vote had a poorly drawn map of the continent of Asia on it.) I've always wondered about misspellings of names but I'm guessing they never have a chance to see the correct spelling.
What are your feelings about Sue? Her peeling eye make-up is a huge distraction for me. She's not one of my favorites by a long shot.

Or has she managed to keep that on since her first day there? That can't be possible. I always think that people like Sue will be out right from the start, but there's always someone who wants to carry people like her so they have someone easy to beat in every comp. I know that's part of the strategy of the game but it annoys me.

I really don't care for anyone right now. Aysha certainly did not help herself at all. At least the challenges are fun because different teams are winning and losing.

Sue doesn't bother me. I kinda like her. I *think* I like Kyle... maybe Teeny... but its still too early for me to tell. Andy is still annoying.
Rome is annoying as well. His smile is too big and too happy and I don't enjoy him. lol
This is the very first season I have gotten DH to watch with me!! He's pretty into it.

I like to cheer for the older contestants, but having trouble identifying with her. Not just her eye makeup, but are her lips botoxed? She seems to be doing okay so far, but looking at her gives the impression of an aging airhead girlie girl...

Right now I think my favorite is Rachel. But there are many who haven't gotten much, if any, screen time. Until she sat out the challenge, I had no idea who Genevieve is. I think I had seen her before but didn't know her name. Everyone once in a while, the way she smiles, reminds me of Jennifer Garner. I thought Rome calling TK cocky was hilarious.

I like Kyle. And I really, really, really dislike Gabe more with every episode. Not only does he have his little birds where he wants them, he apparently has Kyle on call as a limo driver after the season. And yes, I was a little surprised by Sue's flaking mascara ( ) and want to like her, but just don't. She has tied herself to Gabe who will cut her loose the second she isn't a useful number. What a mistake to not listen and think about Kyle's information because she was so focussed on him voting for her. As annoying as Rome has been, he will probably go far because the other three in the core four have no reason to cut him loose yet. Was the steal-a-vote only good for one tribal or does he still have it? It will be interesting to see if Sol is able to dismantle the group but I can't see him survive if they end up at tribal again unless he gets lucky with the shot in the dark. Kishan made an incredible error outing that a core four exists but I don't think it is a fatal error. Teeny looked to be the only one concerned about it. I like that all tribes have been at tribal council so far.

This was a wild one.
The immunity challenge ended with a big puzzle. Genevieve was handing pieces to Rome and he didn't get one single piece on the starting piece. Sol kept saying the pieces wouldn't work and did Rome want to let someone else try. Nope. So they lost. The winners got 3 chickens and the 2nd winners got 6 eggs.
3 people went on an journey or whatever they call it, Andy, Teeny and another girl whose name escapes me. It ended up with Teeny losing her vote and all 3 getting an amulet that they can use once they all are at the merge.
So back at Lavo, Rome threatens Sol with the steal-a-vote unless Sol gives him his Shot in the Dark. Sol said no way. Then Keyshawn hatches a plan to blindside Rome. Keyshawn's idea is to tell people that Genevieve was the target and when Rome told her that, she switched to blindsiding Keyshawn because she didn't like her name being thrown out as a fake.
So at Tribal, Rome played his steal-a-vote on Keyshawn and he went home. Poor Teeny didn't have any idea what was going on. It was fun watching the blindside because Keyshawn was being pretty cocky but I pray that Rome is next. I was happy for Sol to avoid getting voted out.
Clear as mud??
Oh and Sue found an idol but when she cut the rope to release it, red paint went everywhere. She got most of it off but when two other girls asked her why she had red paint on her face/hands, she made up some bullshit story they didn't buy. So now she has a idol.

Still don't really have any favorites. I like Kyle and Sol. Rome was such a jerk to Sol last night. They need to get rid of him. We were disappointed they didn't blindside him.
Still several players when we see them we don't even know who they are.
Being an "older woman" myself, I really wanted to like Sue. But I don't. She annoys the heck out of me.

We really liked the red paint surprise. We thought of it as a reference to literally having "blood" on your hands. It seemed clever. And I can't believe the other women just accepted Sue's answer as to what all the red "blood" came from.
There were a couple of new or unique things in the episode. That was nice to see. Sometimes it's too formulaic.
I do not understand how Sol is tolerating Rome. I would have totally lost it on him if it were me!

Teenie or whatever her name is made a colossal mistake. You push. You are going to tribal. You need your vote. If you aren't going to have a vote, make the other 2 players sacrifice theirs. Do not go into tribal without a vote unless you have no choice.
Rome has got to go
Sue is annoying.
Still waiting to find someone to actually root for instead of against.
