Official Survivor 47 Fan Thread ****SPOILERS****

I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out who Sue reminds me of. It dawned on me tonight as I was watching that she reminds me of Alley Mills the actress. She was recently on General Hospital as Heather Weber.

I was close enough to watch Sam and Genevieve's reactions during the episode, and it was fun to watch when they were surprised or nodding along, especially since they both had tons of air time. Afterward, I asked both about whether anything surprised them. Gen focused on all the other conversations she wasn't a part of, while Sam talked about how much happened that we didn't see. They both seemed like they genuinely had a great time playing. DH and I talked about how warm Genevieve came across in person, as opposed to her confessionals which seem like all business. It really showed me how much the edit impacts our perceptions.

On the episode, going back to Caroline playing her shot in the dark last week - I am glad they walked through her thought process this week. Using the shot in the dark to gauge reactions and decide whether to play an idol was an interesting strategy. I really miss the Ponderosa videos - I would like to hear what Sierra is saying. She said "Good" when they said Caroline list her vote. You don't really want the first member of the jury mad at you since they have lots of time to stew and influence the other players.

I felt so bad for Andy and Sam when their bag tore. They were told to pull it by the bag, and Sam said when it tore, the sand flowed back into the hole, burying the pieces.

Sierra is big mad. And yes, it was when Caroline said she lost her vote that Sierra said good under her breath. 

So disappointed that Sol was voted out and surprised that they all- even Teeny- voted for him. So weird that they didn't go for Kyle while they had the chance. Sol had such a good attitude about it. Not like the other recent vote outs that didn't take it so well. lol 

Sue needs to go. She annoys me to no end. Genevieve annoys me too. And Caroline. I was starting to like Rachel but didn't like that she voted for Sol. He saved her and she turns around and votes him out. I know it's a game and that's how it goes but thought that was kind of rotten of her. 

At this point, we're team Kyle but figure he won't last long. He's too strong. 

Still liking Andy too after his shaky start. I think they underestimate him. 

I still like Rachel. She had to vote Sol. She has no alliance. It is her only way of staying in the game.

Sam wanted Sue, because she is the most insulated and it would open up more options for him. Everyone knows she is tight with Caroline, and people are beginning to pick up on her connection with Gabe.

I think they are shooting themselves in the foot, not getting rid of a Tuke member when they had a chance. Kyle could go on another immunity streak.

I bet Andy's team is regretting their choice to keep him over Jon!

Oh, I agree with you both. It's a game and that's part of it. But I don't have to like her doing it. And I don't.    

Andy is really getting on my nerves. My only hope that he doesn't win is the fact that Dalton had the merge interview with him.

I really want Sue out.

Other than Kyle, who do you think has the best chance to win? Caroline did make an independent move to vote out Gabe, but what else has she done. Sam has been at the bottom, and I don’t see any big moves from Rachel. Teeny is too emotional and I can't remember who the 8th person is.

I'd like to see Kyle win. I like Sam & Rachel too. I can't stand Sue. I'm glad Gabe is gone. Genevieve should be next.

 I think Andy will go far because he is "building" all these relationships. Unfortunately, despite his big head about being in control, all he is doing is tagging onto people who want to use him the same way. I think anyone winning has to have more self-awareness about how others view him and Andy just doesn't. No one views him as strategic and when 3 people put forward the same name, they are all wanting credit for the hit/blindside. 

I agree Sue will be kept until the end because she is such a nonthreat. The biggest disappoint for her will be when Gabe betrays her at final tribal and votes for someone else to win. Because there is no way Gabe is voting for his wounded bird.

I'm not sure there has been such a fluid season before. If Genevieve can survive, I think she stands a good chance of being respected as the best strategist. I get the feeling we are going to see Teeny pick up her game just by the edit she got this week.

I don't see Sam or Caroline winning. Will next week be a face-off between Genevieve and Rachel?

As much as I really like Kyle, he has to pick up the strategic end of the game to be viewed a winner.

Is it me and my television or does Sue‘s face look extremely dirty? Like she’s got a full beard. Watching right now saying out loud go wash your face even if it’s just with water. lol

Also, Caroline knows about Sue's idol - she needs to flush that thing soon.

Dang forgot she has one. I must’ve missed Kyle‘s parting shot to teeny. What did he say to her?


I also think I missed Kyle‘s background. It sounds like he had a rough upbringing, but is it more specific than that?
