Arizona voters are getting notices in the mail telling them that Harris is cancelling their Medicare. They are being sent by a TFg super PAC. The mailers, sent out by MAGA, Inc., "had a big red stamp that proclaimed, 'Medicare Cancellation Notice.' Also emblazoned on its front was this: 'Warning: Rates are going up & plans are being cancelled. Details enclosed.' Its return address was the 'Department of Medicare Cancellation, Kamala Harris Administration,'" reported David Corn. The mailers also included the following message in cursive script: “I hope you can afford to lose your insurance! — Kamala Harris XOXO.”*** The back of the mailer warned that Harris “has a new plan that would completely liquidate Medicare funds,” and "All the money you’ve paid into Medicare will be gone ... Your care [will be] cancelled.”*** Ironically, Medicare's viability could actually be threatened by Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation's controversial hiring and policy blueprint for Trump if he wins the election; the plan calls for expanding Medicare privatization and making Medicare Advantage plans the default option for enrollees, and repealing prescription drug negotiation, which would result in vastly more of Medicare's budget flowing to private corporations with less oversight and increased health costs. MAGA, Inc. is run by former Trump aides, and is bankrolled in part by Timothy Mellon, a reclusive railroad heir who has become one of the GOP's largest megadonors of the 2024 cycle. www.rawstory.com/maga-inc-medicare/How is that legal?

Really low... A GOP congressional candidate in Virginia is the subject of a new ad featuring cardboard cutouts to ridicule “fake family” members he posed with in campaign footage made public last month. Show more: It’s like something out of a sitcom, but sadly, it’s real life. Dude literally borrowed a family to hide his extreme anti-abortion views—can’t make this stuff up! x.com/marcbroklawski/status/1846968956386447462*** The Democratic group House Majority PAC released the ad Thursday, according to Politico. It portrays Anderson living with cardboard cutouts as they sit at the dinner table, throw a frisbee in the yard and play board games. Anderson, a former Green Beret who is engaged with no children, was exposed as posing with a woman and three children of a longtime friend in his campaign materials, according to the New York Times. The images appeared on his YouTube page and on the Republican National Committee website..

aj2hall. Sheehy has been involved in something neferious, but I forget what... Sooo.... A progressive political group focused on veterans' issues is calling out a former Navy SEAL officer following what the organization called "bombshell" reports that found he may have "misrepresented" aspects of his military service to try to win an election. Tim Sheehy is a former Navy SEAL officer who served from 2008 to 2014 and was deployed to conflict zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. He earned the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart. Now, he's trying to unseat the Democratic incumbent Sen. Jon Tester in a closely watched Montana race. The decorated war veteran has said he was hit, possibly by friendly fire, by a ricochet bullet during a 2012 firefight. The story has faced increased scrutiny after the Washington Post revealed Sheehy told officials he shot himself in the arm three years later when he accidentally discharged a gun in the national park. At the time, he told the newspaper that was a "lie" he'd made up to "protect himself and his former platoonmates from facing a potential military investigation into an old bullet wound." www.rawstory.com/tim-sheehy-2669441866/

In past elections ,that I remember, the candidates talked about their policies attacked the other guy’s policies.
This guy has taken campaigning to a new low. This is the only way the idiot knows to “make his case”.

MO AG has gone to court claiming abortions hurt the state by decreasing teen pregnancies.. Missouri’s attorney general has renewed a push to restrict access to the abortion pill mifepristone, arguing in a lawsuit filed this month that its availability hurt the state by decreasing teenage pregnancy. The revised lawsuit was filed by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, alongside GOP attorneys general in Kansas and Idaho. It asks a judge in Texas to order the Federal Drug Administration to reinstate restrictions on mifepristone, one of two medications prescribed to induce chemical abortions. The trio of attorneys general were forced to refile the litigation after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the original lawsuit after concluding the original plaintiffs — a group of anti-abortion doctors and medical organizations — did not have standing to sue because they couldn’t show they had been harmed. In making the case that the states have standing this time, the attorneys general contend access to mifepristone has lowered “birth rates for teenaged mothers,” arguing it contributes to causing a population loss for the states along with “diminishment of political representation and loss of federal funds.” “Younger women are more likely to navigate online abortion finders or websites ordering mail-order medication to self-manage abortions,” the filing argues. Missouri’s teen pregnancy birth rate has steadily declined over the past several years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, though it still remains among the highest in the country. The lawsuit demands the federal government restore its previous restrictions on mifepristone by requiring three in-person doctor visits, reducing the gestational period during which the medication can be taken from 10 weeks to seven and rolling back recent federal policy that allowed for the mailing of mifepristone and allowed for prescriptions to be made online or through pharmacies. In a statement to The Independent, Bailey framed the lawsuit as an attempt to ensure “long-standing safety requirements” for use of mifepristone are put back in place. “We are moving forward undeterred for the safety of women across the country,” Bailey said. Molly Meegan, chief legal officer and general counsel with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said the latest legal attempt to reduce access to mifepristone is based on “out-of-date and unscientific federal restrictions.” “Science has conclusively demonstrated that mifepristone is safe and effective, including when used as directed through telehealth, and that patients of any age who become pregnant and need medication abortion can safely use the combination regimen of mifepristone and misoprostol,” she said in a statement. ”Imposing needless barriers on mifepristone will make it harder for people to access this needed care—which of course is the point—and worsen existing health disparities.” According to the FDA, mifepristone is safe to use if taken as directed. Cramping and bleeding are common side effects of the medication. Those prescribed mifepristone are urged to call their doctor if they experience heavy bleeding, abdominal pain or a fever. The same guidance applies to those who recently underwent surgical abortions, experienced miscarriages or delivered a baby. Since the medication was approved for use 28 years ago, only 32 deaths have ever been reported associated with mifepristone, according to the FDA.Bailey and his fellow GOP attorneys general, however, argue the drug is dangerous.www.rawstory.com/missouri-ag-tells-judge-drop-in-teen-pregnancies-hurts-state-financially/

TFG refused to pay a murdered soldiers funeral bill that he had promised to pay.. Direct quotes from contemporaries notes. Former President Donald Trump offered to cover funeral costs for a soldier murdered at Ft. Hood — then furiously backed out when the family sent a $60,000 bill to the White House, according to a bombshell report published Tuesday in The Atlantic. Among the stories in the report was that Trump volunteered to pay for the funeral of Vanessa Guillén, a 20-year-old Army private who was beaten to death and burned by a fellow soldier. "If I can help you out with the funeral, I’ll help—I’ll help you with that,” Trump reportedly told the victim's family. “I’ll help you out. Financially, I’ll help you.” But his tone changed when the bill was sent. "It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a f---ing Mexican!” shouted the angry president. He reportedly told chief of staff Mark Meadows: “Don’t pay it!" Trump remained agitated about the funeral the following day, according to the report. "F---ing people trying to rip me off," Trump ranted. www.rawstory.com/trump-military-bashing-2669458662/.

He has said he would negotiate with Hamas and seems to think the hostages are dead? And yes that sounds like election interference to me.

aj2hall. Sheehy has been involved in something neferious, but I forget what... Another incident in the life of candidate Sheehy... How he beats Tester I have no clue.. Republican Senate candidate running on his private sector experience is now being scrutinized for a deal in which he sided with wealthy investors over his own would-be constituents. NBC News reported Tuesday that Tim Sheehy — who is running against Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) in a competitive Senate race — has yet to explain why jobs his company promised to Montanans have yet to materialize. The outlet reported that his aerial firefighting business, Bridger Aerospace Group, convinced Gallatin County, Montana commissioners in 2020 to use the county's credit rating to raise $160 million in a bond issue. That money would then be used to help the company expand, creating local jobs in the process. Bridger executives ultimately won over county leaders, who unanimously voted for Bridger's proposal. But four years later, that money has been spent without any benefit to the county. #1. READ MORE: 'The company is bleeding cash': GOP Senate candidate's failing business becomes a liability According to NBC, $134 million of that $160 million (more than 83%) ended up in the pockets of the New York-based private equity firm Blackstone Group in 2022. And while Bridger pledged to build two new hangars in Gallatin County, only one hangar has actually been built, and its workforce has actually declined rather than grown as promised. “When, where and how benefits accrue locally when local governments support these types of business ventures is exactly the right question to ask,” University of Chicago public policy professor Justin Marlowe said. “If the project fails, it sends a signal about the future of that jurisdiction.” Bridger has been bleeding money for years as it struggles to stay above water. Since the $160 million bond issue was granted in 2022, the company has lost roughly $150 million. That includes more than $20 million in the first quarter of 2024 alone, and $77.4 million of losses in 2023. NBC reported that Bridger's stock price is at a paltry $3.60 per share, which is a 64% decline from when it launched its initial public offering in 2023. The network further reported that an independent auditor estimated that Sheehy's company may not survive another 12 months given its rate of losses. And while the conditions of the bond issue don't leave Gallatin County on the hook, its credit rating could still take a dive if Bridger goes bankrupt. #2. READ MORE: GOP Senate candidate says he was wounded in combat. This park ranger says he shot himself Despite his company's poor performance, Sheehy was still well-compensated as its CEO. In 2023, while his company was losing tens of millions of dollars, he was paid a base salary of $149,000 and got a $2.3 million bonus. In 2022, when Bridger lost $42.1 million, the company paid Sheehy a $450,000 base salary and gave him a bonus of $4.4 million. Sheehy is currently polling ahead of Tester by as many as eight percentage points, according to FiveThirtyEight. If he wins, it will make Democrats' chances of keeping the Senate majority that much more difficult. #3. Texas voters - Were they running the Ted Cruz commercial about "men in girl's sports" that has the black cloud coming over? At the end there's a teenage girl laiyng on the ground with a man wearing an "Allred" jersey standing over her, insinuating that Colin Allred knocked her down.
I though at the time it was ripe for a lawsuit and I haven't seen it lately, can't find it on the web either. It's disgusting, hopefully Allred's campaign got it taken down.

This shows you how sick the Republicans have become to keep power. Fred Wellman ”This is sick. They are literally trying to stop safe medicine because it REDUCES teenage birth rates! These are the same bastards that will turn around and condemn girls for getting pregnant as sinners, refuse to give them healthcare, and cut programs to support needy families. They just want more babies to keep power. That’s it.” & T in KC ”Republicans just stated in their latest mifepristone lawsuit that they need HIGHER birth rates for teenaged mothers so they don’t “lose a seat in Congress.” Read that again.” You can read the part of the brief he’s talking about in the link. x.com/guardianogeloso/status/1849019382040523071?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

A speaker about authoritarianism was just cancelled under pressure of maga. Ruth Ben-Ghiat was scheduled to speak at the US Naval Academy. This will be our future if tfg is elected.. x.com/JSweetLI/status/1849456143166321016Show more: Rep. Nick LaLota, running for reelection in up-for-grabs NY-01, was one of the signers of this letter, demanding an explanation from the Naval Academy for inviting NYU historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat to give a history department lecture, after pressure from Heritage Foundation because of her anti-Trump opinions. Ben-Ghiat told The Baltimore Banner her planned lecture was not going to mention Trump or contemporary politics at all, but rather was about what happens to militaries under authoritarian rule. The letter from the Republicans on the House Armed Services Committee echoed Heritage Foundation fellows, and editorials in the Heritage Foundation's The Daily Signal. *** The U.S. Naval Academy is under fire after it invited — then uninvited — a distinguished expert on authoritarianism and fascism to give a lecture. Dr. Ruth Ben-Ghiat is a professor of history and Italian Studies at New York University, where her bio says she "writes about fascism, authoritarianism, propaganda, and the threats these present to democracies around the world." She is the author of books on fascism and serves as an advisor to the nonpartisan nonprofit organization Protect Democracy. She is also an MSNBC opinion columnist, where she appears as a commentator, as she does on other news networks. For weeks, since early October, right-wing media has been criticizing the U.S. Naval Academy for inviting her to speak. The Daily Caller, founded by Tucker Carlson, described Dr. Ben-Ghiat as "an outspoken anti-Trump guest" who was invited to "give the keynote speech at a high-level lecture this month." www.rawstory.com/shameful-naval-academy-cancels-authoritarianism-lecture-after-maga-pressure/

Seems FOX news is editing much outofTFG speeches . CNN is reporting that Fox News edited out several portions of a recent event with former President Donald Trump to omit what it describes as his "rambling answers and false claims." During one point in Trump's chat with Black voters in a New York barbershop, the former president was asked about eliminating federal taxes. *** In addition to this, Fox News edited out Trump praising authoritarian Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, as well as assorted false claims about Haitian immigrants living in Springfield, Ohio. The revelations about Fox News editing the Trump event come as Trump himself has criticized CBS News' "60 Minutes" for editing portions of its interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, and the former president has gone so far as to demand that CBS lose its broadcast license. www.rawstory.com/fox-news-trump-edited-barbershop/
