It's almost 4am here. My youngest and I are eating toast. I feel so lost for so many reasons but the the thing that sticks the most is Zalensky when he had to stand next to Trump and pretend this monster/Putin friend was going to help him save his country. I can only hope and pray that the rest of us- Europe,UK- will somehow fill the gap that a Trump win win will produce in Ukraine's arsenal.

I’m super depressed. When they called Texas for Cruz I just about lost it. I don’t understand voters in this state.

I keep looking at the map. I just can’t believe what I’m seeing. There is so much more at stake this time. He will pull out of NATO, abortion ban, all the crap in project 25 and just do much more. Kennedy threatening vaccinations, Musk wanting to crash the economy. Where have people been? What don’t they understand other than sticking it to the libs. I’m just so sad and sick at the moment. Hoping the blue wave kicks in but not feeling very hopeful at the moment.

Looks like Missouri amendment 3- overturning the abortion ban is going to at least go through. I'm honestly surprised, I voted with hope but figured the more conservative elements in the state wouldn't let it be overturned.
I can't look at the map anymore, I'm going to go to bed before I puke.

It's over. Trump is pulling in 2016 numbers in too many places. American has chosen a rapist, a criminal, an insurrectionist, an inciter of violence against minorities and women. Many voters choosing him not once, not twice but three times. No one should be naïve about what this means, and we should brace ourselves for what will happen now. This will have immediate global consequences, which will trickle down economically, everywhere, the same as during the pandemic. And if you are part of a vulnerable group, I really hoped you didn't vote for what is coming your way.

It makes me never want to talk to anyone who voted for trump ever again. which is not christian or kind of me. but that is how I am feeling.
you vote to throw our country into the garbage and the laughing stock of the world. you are ok with inflicting pain on people and dismissing science. you are ok with being mean and hurtful and passing policies that kill people.
how many more must die? how many will be in concentration camps?
I can't talk to them -- I just can't. if he wins, I will have to stop singing that anthem so loud. this will tear us apart as a country even more. and those without resources will not be having improved lives.
