spent on scrapbooking. I've been scrapbooking close to 20 years, and I would say most years I've spent $500 a year, some years more (including furniture and storage). Last year I spent more because I also bought a cameo and subscription and a bunch of WRMK binders. I think I probably have to be around $10,000-$15000) that I've spent in the last 18 years.
Anyone else want to admit what they have REALLY spent? I've seen people with huge overflowering scraprooms say they didn't spend much, because they bought everything on sale. But I'm skeptical, since I've never had close to a room full and have spent so much.

No idea, and like cynipade17 said, I don't really want to know.
I have gone thru spells where I went shopping every week and spent $100/week. Then I wouldn't go for months. But $500 a year, I wish!

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent. I did get most of it on sale, but I'm one of those with the overflowing scrap room! LOL I'm sure I've spent well into the thousands. I seriously think I had an addiction at the height of it all.
I haven't paper scrapped in about 2 years, so I don't have the latest stuff, but I'm having trouble parting with all that I have. I donated a lot of PP to DD's daycare and they loved it and really used it. I'm not sure what to do with the rest. It's too nice to throw away and I don't have a lot of local scrapper friends since they closed all of our LSS and I've lost touch with them. I need to have a garage sale, but that is a daunting task! LOL

No idea, and I'm in the group who doesn't want to know. But the content of my craft room (I sew and knit too) is insured for close to $ 100.000.

Well, at $100 per month for 10 years, it would be about $12,000. I figure it's cheaper than therapy~!

Goodness I'm sure it's in the thousands. Heck I had over 100 cricut cartridges and 3 machines at one point. That doesn't include everything else. My purchasing has stopped/slowed down dramatically in the last year. I'm still scrapping but determined to use what I have most days.

Between monthly clubs, twice yearly conventions, quarterly crops, bi-yearly retreats, furniture, storage and just general shopping, there is no way I'm adding it all up!!

Easily 10,000, probably more! Over 10+ years. Me, too, I'm at about $10k probably, maybe a little less, maybe a little more if I include magazines and books. But then I don't have a shoe collection, so there's that.

I had the opportunity to find out when my LSS was open. I told them I didn't want to know. They gave me a ballpark figure anyway. I've been scrapping since 1997 also. I'm sure I could buy a very nice car considering all I've spent. I recently renovated my scraproom with new floor and new furniture so that would push the total up too.

I think mine is in the $10,000 range but it was mostly spent $5 here and $10 there but it gave me more joy than anything else I could think of!

It's what I do, and that's OK.

I would only want to know if only this hobby was a tax write off! That would be AMAZING! Lol I'm sure if everything was added up, I'm sitting in the 10k+ category. But I love it, 14 years running!

Not as much as some of you - mostly because I don't have that much disposable income. I've been scrapping for 12 years now and I would guess no more than $500/yr max (and much less some years - this being one of them...I doubt I've topped $100 this year so far) so maybe $5-6K total although I think it's probably a bit less.
That is a bit eye-opening really as I've always been a frugal scrapper - shopped sales, yard sales, accepted handmedowns etc... and it still adds up to so much.

I am joining the group who would rather not know. I do both paper and digital and while my paper addiction is more expensive per shopping excursion, I have spent a ton of money on digital as well. Kits are usually in the 6.00 range but I own a ton of them. Then, of course, there is the money I spend on EHDs to store all of the digital stuff on but it is my only real vice so I am OK with it.

Probably close to $20,000 in the last 16 years. However I did run a whole sale scrapbooking die cut business for 5 of those years so a lot of that was equipment.

You know I just want to say, in my defense, my husband owns a 1951 Ford Convertible, a 1969 Mach 1 and a racing bike.
I work full time so I am not going to feel one bit guilty about the amount of money I spend.
So there, lol!
