Disclaimer: This is a completely free program, I get no benefit from posting this, and I don't know this woman - I just found her on Instagram. I know there's a lot of you who have said you want to lose weight but you may not have the time or $$ for a gym membership, to join weight watchers, buy a beachbody DVD, or whatever. I just completed a 30 day challenge that I loved - but the workouts were just too long for me - so I am trying something new. I thought I would post about it here in case anybody wanted to join me? Briana Christine is a mom of 3 (plus an angel baby) who lost 100 pounds and became a certified trainer. She started a website called Bikini Body Mommy where she creates FREE fitness challenges. She's done Bikini Body Mommy 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. She just launched BBM 4.0 TODAY! It's a 90 day program, and you just have to go to her site and sign up - you can get the workouts emailed to you every day. Or you can also view the workout on YouTube or through her website each day. She does the workouts in her living room - with just dumbbells and a mat I think. (Today was a chair, and 2 dumbbells) You do NOT need to have completed any of her previous workouts to start with 4.0. It's just version 4 - not something you have to build up to. Today was just a fit test, which took 20 minutes total so you're not far behind at all! Losing weight is 80% nutrition / 20% workouts, so JUST doing these exercises won't help - you have to get the calories under control. She does sell a meal plan, but you don't have to buy it (I didn't). Go set up a free account on My Fitness Pal and track every bite you eat! Free workouts + free food tracking = no excuses. Anybody want to join? We can start a thread here for anybody doing the challenge! ETA: You also do not have to be a mom to join this challenge. I'm not. LOL I think she just thought it was a cute name when she started it - not realizing it was going to grow. Ugh, I wish I could. I am 9 weeks post op for knee surgery and I am not allowed to do to anything that is high impact because I am trying to regrow bone and cartilage in my knee and high impact will kill any progress. I gained 10 pounds from not being able to work out at my normal intensity!!!

I gained 10 pounds from not being able to work out at my normal intensity!!! Have you checked out chair aerobics? That may help you exercise while you recover. Also swimming with your knee immobilized in brace (yes, I've BTDT). Good luck. It's tough to be patient while you heal, but it's so important to not over do too soon or you'll be back to square one.

I've seen her blog but I had no idea her stuff was free. She sells some stuff - there's a 'premium' content section for $1.99/month that has like post baby and couple exercises and she has a nutrition guide and things you can buy - but the challenge itself is free.

I am allowed and encouraged to work out but I have to watch what I do. I am not allowed to immobilize it because when you do that, you stop the healing and the regenerating process. I have been cleared to spin and do the elliptical and I can even do s quats and leg press exercises but I cannot do any jumping, running or anything that is high impact.

Ok, I checked it out and did the fit test. I'm smoked! Hopefully this will give me the motivation I need to keep my workout momentum going.
I will say thanks for posting this, although I may be cussing you at times over the next 90 days. I look forward to having some workout buddies.

So glad you posted this! I definitely needed the motivation and to know that there will be some others out there doing this will help me. I can talk myself out of doing something I need to do, but don't want to in no time flat, so hopefully I'll have some accountability here.

ETA: I just did the arm workout. I was too lazy to go get the 3# dumbbells so I used the 5# I keep under the couch for when motivation strikes. I really should have gone to get the 3# I think.

I'm in! Tired of searching through youtube workouts every day to try and find a good one, this should make it easier I am trying to lose weight before my sister's wedding at the end of June. So far I haven't lost any, ugh! But I will keep trying!

Where do you get the exercise cards she talks about? I registered for a free account, but didn't receive any kind of confirmation email. I was going to do the first workout, but it seems like you need to familiarize yourself with the exercises first, and I can't figure out how to do that.

I have two weeks of school left and the. I am committing to working out. Life is just too crazy right now and I know if I start now I won't commit.
Can I begin the 90 days at any time?

I did the arm workout earlier and completey forgot about going back to do the fit test. I'll do that first thing in the morning so I don't have any excuses. I don't want to start my 90 days too far behind everyone else.

I bought the Success Manual (or whatever it's called) and started Day 1. I hope I see some improvement at the Day 15 mark. I also did all my measurements and took my "before" picture. Excited to see where this takes me!

Princesscubby, I did eventually figure it out, thanks.
So I did the fit test tonight, which just confirmed to me that I am the opposite of fit. My arms were shaking for 10-15 minutes after I finished. How pathetic is that?
I didn't have a tape measure, so I used a piece of string and a yardstick to do my measurements. Not sure how accurate those really are, particularly because one of my cats was "helping" me with the string.
