NOW I'm even more ticked about this SC crud. Seriously, I had no clue about this pre-order/save money on add-on deal, although the one and only time I went to quickly check out their new site I had seen the discounted preview items and didn't have time to figure out why (I presumed it was order then and not bundling). Seriously, I like the kits, but the poor communication and if it is ANY more less convenient than it was, I am 100% out. For now, I planned to give it a month or two and decide which of my 3 subs I'll give up...I personally think as of January, those of us who had multiple subs are screwed over in the shipping big time. I would like to get to 1 sub and then seems to me I can bundle anything else with it (or nothing) and not pay additonal shipping. Since, I would much rather spend $50-60/month rather than the $125-150 I usually was!! Thanks for letting me vent I just came back here to see this pre-order thing, went to check it out at SC and of course, all are regular price again... Yeah, I saw them but didn't realise they were for a limited time only. Has anyone tried to shop on an ipad - impossible. I'd love to see how they recover from this mess this time.

Things just got worse over there. People are finding out that subbers can't buy any addons unless they correspond with the kit that they sub too. Unless they go back at the regular reveal then they can. It's so crazy confusing over there it isn't funny! Best line ever "it shouldn't be this hard to give you our money" & "stamps and paper shouldn't be stressful!"
I'm definitely in the market for a new kit club!

Yeah, not super impressed with the new website. Too "glossy" and not straight-forward enough to navigate for me. Not thrilled with the style of the kits this month, which is one reason I want a good value as a subscriber, since there is always something I don't care for or use. I believe they already backed down on the add-on's only for your subscriptions...they should all be available. Of course the one I wanted is sold out (and they now don't hold any back for the public reveal).
I think I am going to go to ACOT's website and fill my cart with $100 worth of stuff. I bet when I compare that to what I am getting at SC it would put it in perspective for me really quick.

i believe that SC saw that this business model works well for Ali Edwards and decided to change to the same structure. unfortunately, i believe there have been too many negative experiences and games played by SC for this to work for them. with Ali - her kit club has been rock solid from day one - because of her past integrity. there are no games played. she has consistent, quality products. there are no sneak peeks, there is no hype. she simply provides what people like without all the unnecessary confusion and miscommunication. it's really unfortunate - SC had a good thing going until several years ago. i still like their kits, products but have lost faith in them and rarely buy anything now.

I've copied what different clubs have put in their kits a couple times... Never calculated the difference, but I was able to leave out stuff I didn't like or didn't think I'd use and between the points at ACOT and the gift certificates I've won at sb.com, I have gotten a lot good deals... Right now I've got a $75 gift certificate I won at sb.com and if I time that right with sales, I can get so much stuff... I like watching the kit unboxing videos on YouTube for DIY kit inspiration... Bit off topic, but in case anyone wanted to try...

I've toyed with the idea of joining before. This whole debacle has definitely kept me away. Then I looked at the Fairgrounds PL unboxing this morning and was very underwhelmed. SC just isn't for me.
