OMFG. I have to stop going there. They take down the "Where is Everyone" thread, and yet the "Have you Received Your Messy Box" thread is still up despite at least four different TOU violations. FFS. And Annie's thread asking about the new PL "Everday Edition" core kit. Isn't the one about the 9x12 page protectors against the TOU too? I consider that a personal customer service issue since she is having issues with SC not keeping product in stock. I also think it's funny that it's crickets on Amber's post. Are you surprised? LOL Because I wasn't. You can't go around deleting threads all willy-nilly then when you need help, expect anyone to come to your rescue.

Well played! As the OP of that bent paper thread that got deleted, I appreciate that being thrown back in their face whenever possible. I did go off on CS in my convo when I told them I wanted my paper replaced after all (if they were going to delete my thread then they could just ship me new paper thank you very much) and told them that they could have their new CS manager call me to explain what my bad behavior had been to cause it to be deleted. Of course the phone never rang since no one there has the spine to actually talk to people. So, they won't call you when you have legitimate customer issues but are quick to offer to pick up the phone when someone questions April? Dear God...what is that place? What did I get myself into last December? JFC. I've made cult remarks before but seriously...major cultish behaviors happening over there. Also, very interesting how many jobs are available now...last fall, there was 1 job opening. Now there are about a dozen. Finally, is anyone else a little freaked that this thread has over 38 THOUSAND views but only about 900 comments?

I'm one of tye 38 thousand viewers who keeps keeping up on the train wreck that is SC, but have not personally been affected by it. I have a friend that gets the kit but recently quit it as well. Now shes hoping on board my scraptastic train! Lol!.I just think it's crazy they way SC has treated so many of you and checking in on this thread is like watching a soap opera! Gotta tune in today to see what SC did now and when will it all came crashing down on them! !! And because of this thread it has left a bad taste in my mouth and causes me to not wanna buy their products and spend my money elsewhere.

Woohoo! Brimfield will be my last kit! My cancellation request is the first conversation I've had to start (among MANY!) where I actually felt good about pressing send instead of sick about the screwed up order or missing item. After all of the drama over censored threads and the insane lengths Studio Calico will go to (phone calls! letters!? creepy!) to stop people from talking about how bad things have gotten, I'm out! And it feels great! Does everyone who has dropped their sub recently feel GREEEEAAAAT???

Does Brimfield only have 2 pieces of cardstock? Seriously? Maybe they are going to go the stationery route for the scrapbook kit? Nobody has time for scrapbooking!?!? Pre-printed scrapbook pages? You can just add your pictures. Slap a little washi tape on it, and a wooden deer.

Does Brimfield only have 2 pieces of cardstock? Seriously? I was looking at the preview today and the digitals... It does look like Brimfield only has 2 pieces of cardstock and also only 1 alpha...it is a lovely alpha, but still, really? They better offer double ups on that alpha or not many titles will be happening. I was completely unimpressed with the digitals as well...no stamps I need this time...which never happens. I still have no cut off date for myself, but if I keep feeling about the kits like I do with Brimfield it won't be long until I sub over at Citrus Twist (which is my long term plan). Most of what I LOVE about SC are the papers and stamps, which all seem to be pretty available these days, so I could always buy just those items if I wanted. I think the boards are so quiet because it feels like no one over there CARES anymore, at all. Its like a bunch of ostriches, if they put their heads in the sand long enough it will blow over and everything will be fine...sigh. Not even the CT seem to care at all. There were only about 6 of them doing any sneaks anyway... Now this is all coming from me...I am a pretty big SC fangirl (I know, I know I shouldn't be...) At least the best part of SC seems to be here now, the community!

I think I had an ah-ha moment about the whole message board gestapo business... I think it has been said multiple times over there by members (in deleted threads of course, so no going back to confirm) that the crack down on the message boards was so that new customers won't get scared away by the negativity and bad press for SC- which makes sense. But now I am wondering if they are trying to shove all of the skeletons back into the closet because of all of these high-profile collaborations they are working on right now supposedly. Those could be $$$ compared to what is apparently not a highly profitable kit club business (isn't that why they changed the pricing model?)... but if the potential clients start seeing all of their dirty laundry, hold the presses. Probably not a coincidence.

I am sorry, but that floral map paper is weird. They have had so many map papers lately, but I can't even imagine how that could be used effectively.

Because that worked SO well for the new CM company...oh wait it didn't! LOL I was thinking about how they changed the card kit to a "stationery kit" and how it was such a slap to cardmakers. They thought they were clever saying how people don't have time to make cards ("Ain't nobody got time for that!") but when they say that it makes it sound like 1) Card making is a WASTE of time 2) Hardly anyone does it anyway, so your creative passion doesn't matter 3) No creativity is even needed because we can just buy premade stuff and it is just as good (wrong!). What audience were they listening to?

I'm redoing some travel albums but I already have map paper and the cork world pieces from Galileo to use. Don't think I really need any more.

I ordered a stamp from SC two weeks ago. It is the only thing I have ever ordered from them. I get emails from them 3-4 times a week now. I didn't think you could order from the Sneaks (is that even a thing?) if you didn't order kits. Anything I try to put in my cart (just to see if it works) goes in.

I am one of the 38,000 views but I don't post on here very much...I'm trying to take part in the other scrapbooking threads and I don't want to 'feed' the SC drama machine. On the other hand, some of the stuff they do is so mind-bogglingly outrageous that I just HAVE to come and share it with you guys.
I'm not buying physical stuff at the moment, I have plenty already. I was looking at the digi bits, the printables...but I think I'll just go to the 30% off sale at beckyhiggins.com.

I'm another one who reads a lot and doesn't say much. I will, however say that at this point, I feel SC did me a favour in providing me with the shove I needed to find an alternative. I had subbed to the PL kit since it began and was getting increasingly irritated by the way new subscribers got all kinds of incentives and special deals when those of us who were loyal to the brand from the off got nothing at all. On more than one occasion I felt I was being stupid for not working the system more effectively to get all the deals..and yet, life is too short and my time is better spent being creative.
Yesterday two presale announcement emails dropped into my inbox almost simultaneously. One from SC and the other from Citrus Twist, my new best friend. SC offered the usual 50% off incentive to new subbers, the CT email not only reminded me that I'll get my 13th kit for the cost of the postage only, but reminded me that after 12 consecutive months of subscription I'll get a 10% discount off all kit add-ons and shop item purchases too. Being the kind of person who sticks with a brand, I don't need to say which one appealed the most ;-)
So, it's all about the new customers with SC - which is maybe what they need to boost their corporate results? For example, "5k new subscriptions this month" sounds good in business terms, if you "forget" to mention the number of account closures. I don't have a clue about how many subscriptions they have and pull that figure out of the air, I should add!
