My brimfield kits just came and wow. The SB and PL have the same acetate shapes packet and the same enamel dots package. A page of super skinny washi, the 4x6. The one letter alpha. The 2 roller stamps, one of them is just months of the year. It is utterly the biggest ripoff ever--worse than fairground. I'm not feeling bad about unsubbing now! But the jokes on them, they accidentally put 2 enamel dot pkgs in my SB kit. Ha! Take that sc. I'm hoping the months roller stamp is in the SB kit cause I just cancelled that sub during previews. I bought one at M's when they had all the HS stuff 40% off. This is what annoys me. They shouldn't be repeating items in the kits when they know darn well that people sub to more than one kit. Uggh. Order double the quantity and the wholesale cost usually goes down. Yes, everyone will use them eventually, but things like this just smack of laziness and cheapness to me. months stamp is in the SB kit.  I don't even know what the words are on the PL kit stamp. |

So SC tried to bribe us with getting extras if use card subbers stayed in the stationary kit. I was really tempted to stay in for the free stamp set. I see a post now where subbers are having to ask for what was promised. Does this company have any idea what they are doing? So not worth any bribe!

macaddict you know... So, when I read that communication about the "bonus items" I noticed that it kept saying CARD REWARDS SUBSCRIBERS would get the 4x6 stamp set. So, I bet you anything that if you're a rewards subscriber but not from the card kit, that they weren't "eligible" for the bonus stamp set. I will not be surprised.

My turn to complain...they oversold the Halloween House guests stamp set and I don't get one now, even though I ordered it really early, way before it sold out. I also bought the House stamp to go with it and now it has no guests to go inside. it wa sthe ONLY thing I really was looking forward to this month as Brimfield is just so so for me...SO UPSET. I know I should have expected this kind of thing, but I WANT that stamp set...I wonder if they will even reorder it because it is seasonal. If anyone wants to help me out, they could click notify if back instock so they think everyone wants to order it. sigh. I know this is gibberish but I am SO MAD

So seriously 6 companies under their umbrella when they are struggling with the original? From what I see AE has a strong basis and I'm not sure about ABM but wasn't BPC not the slam dunk they expected? Crazy.

I don't understand how they can oversell stuff so very often and how they fufill orders so that people who order first don't get the item. i would make sure to let them know that you bought the house stamp solely to go with the Halloween guest stamp. The AE partnership was a strong business move because Ali's huge fan base includes people who are interested in paper crafting enough to spend money on products and classes. ABM seems to have a solid blog following, but reviews on the messy box have been all over the place. That marble one was not well received on the SC boards. Having a strong following doesn't translate into a large paying customer base. It'll be interesting to see how the balloon lady and Brene partnerships pan out. Just because I may like reading their posts, doesn't mean I want to shell out money to buy crafty stuff. The reality is, many of those followers may have may have zero interest in paper crafting or shelling out their hard earned money on journals, recipe cards, or any other product they can dream up. |

Thank you foucaultgirl! I hope so too. I posted a somewhat angry post on SC forums which I never do...but overselling that stamp is not fair. Halloween is my favourite holiday and the one I really do scrap so this is painful for me. Skellinton Yep, in my convo I said what am I going to do with a House stamp and no guests? No, the bastards (excuse my language) sent my package yesterday and notified me today that it had no stamp set in it. I know it is just stamps but I would seriously trade my Smalls (that rare Disney castle set everyone loves) set for that Halloween set it is way more useful to me. |

abr79 Thanks! it was pretty much the ONLY thing that sold out this month, so disappointing. I did however finish my DD order by getting Ali's kit to go with my KP mini. If SC screw it up for AL I swear I will start a large scale social media boycott. Ali seems like such a lovely and genuine person.

impearia, that is total bs that they did that to you. It's happened to me so many times with SC, even when I know I clicked early long before something "sold out". Infuriating. I'll go click on notify and hope it gets restocked for you.

I thought their latest site "upgrade" - or maybe even a previous one - had put in place an inventory system so that taking more orders than they have stock wouldn't happen?!?! Apparently if they did, it doesn't work very well. I am mad on your behalf! I was interested in it but missed ordering it. I will click 'notify' as well.

Oh man...now Brooke (wellobellie...who is my favourite CT member, I have to say. She seems so nice.) says she is still in packing and she is afraid she won't get hers either. She is rewards! She says she will be "gutted" if she doesn't get one. They better reorder that stamp set!

Here is my two cents...As regarding the CT..I am Not loving the layouts I see..they all tend to do the same kind of layouts every month..they all tend to have the same style and I don't find this 'creative team"Creative.I miss the old CT e.g. Susan W, Jen J,Vee,Liz K,Maggie H. I feel like the current team just throw layouts together to meet the deadline..I don't blame them so much tho,because they are probably not feeling it for this company anymore.I bet most of them will want to go else where next year.I find the member's gallery more inspiring..even though I hardly checkout the gallery any more.I hate the new site,I don't like the look at all.I am so turned off by it, I don't even go to the site anymore,Ha! maybe it's just me.

Halloween is my favorite holiday too! I actually got married on Halloween! I clicked on notify me for the stamps too, if I had still be a subber I totally would have bought that set. I hope they refund you the money for the house set, you should ask them to and see what they say.
