I would agree with you the members gallery is great. I do like Brooke Takara's pages though because I do think she does lovely pages that are not the same as everyone else's. Ok,I should take another look at her gallery ... Here is a link to her gallery. I like that she isn't afraid to use a lot of bright patterned papers. Ok,I should take another look at her gallery ... Here is a link to her gallery. I like that she isn't afraid to use a lot of bright patterned papers. I remember seeing her layout somewhere online but didn't realize she was even part of the CT. I really don't mind some white space/background layouts but I miss seeing journalling and inspiring titles and photo placement (especially more than one regular sized photo) maybe this is why I'm drawn to Ali's scrapbooking she may not always use the latest and greatest or have perfect photos but her style is real and authentic.

I really don't mind some white space/background layouts but I miss seeing journalling and inspiring titles and photo placement (especially more than one regular sized photo) maybe this is why I'm drawn to Ali's scrapbooking she may not always use the latest and greatest or have perfect photos but her style is real and authentic. White space is ok but not on every layout..the whole point of having a Creative Team should be showing us different ways to use paper and embellishments..its ok if they were just scraping for themselves but I think a Creative Team should be Creative and produce different styles monthly. |

Scary Teddy is my fave! Okay, I am totally going to wear my Nightmare Before Christmas shirt today. My turn to complain...they oversold the Halloween House guests stamp set and I don't get one now, even though I ordered it really early, way before it sold out. I also bought the House stamp to go with it and now it has no guests to go inside. it wa sthe ONLY thing I really was looking forward to this month as Brimfield is just so so for me...SO UPSET. I know I should have expected this kind of thing, but I WANT that stamp set...I wonder if they will even reorder it because it is seasonal. If anyone wants to help me out, they could click notify if back instock so they think everyone wants to order it. sigh. I know this is gibberish but I am SO MAD I don't get this either. I have checked out of a company before and when I get to the next page it tells me if an item is no longer available. It's like their web person doesn't know how to make that function work. If they cared about customers they would honor purchases in order. I have had this happen many times. Then you have to ask for a refund after you get your purchase. They should credit you right away and send an email with an apology. Why put a stupid card in your package only. It seems like such a backwards company. I wanted that stamp also but it sold out. I'm sure it will be back in stock. |

Well I got a response on my convo so I responded truthfully back. What do you all think?  You go girl! You got more than I did when I canceled. They didn't even try to get me to stay. They harassed me about canceling before my time was up even though their site states that if you are a card subber with time left you could cancel if you didn't want to stay in the stationary kit. Customer service is VERY important to me and if I'm not treated like a valued customer I will go elsewhere. I'm thinking others feel the same. Please let us know how this ends.  |

I just looked at their blog: it looks like Jamie Waters was sent in to show everyone that getting a measly single gold alpha is ACTUALLY a good thing because then you get the chance to use your SC alpha stamps. SC can spin the lack of product as much as they want to but it's still putting perfume on a pig (and it still stinks).

I still feel so ripped off. One of the PL cards is just blue. No design, no swirl of any sort. Are they kidding? I'm paying a premium price for exclusive goods that aren't really exclusive because anyone can make a blue card. |

I just looked at gossamer blue--8 sheets of paper, 4 cardstock and the printable files included. I read somewhere else that their CS is the very best. I love one little bird and her designs show up there a lot.

I love one little bird and her designs show up there a lot. I love Gossamer Blue! You get so much product AND free printable and cut files. I subbed until I had to put myself on a semi-freeze. Their customer service is excellent. Lori gets back to you asap and is so super sweet. She makes you feel like you matter and your business is very much appreciated. I love their DT, it's varied and full of talent. One Little Bird designs their stamps, free files and papers I believe. What's also great is that if you have to cancel it is easy peasy, just a click of a button and no fees. |

Seriously--the washi sheet that's 4x6? Well that's the whole thing including the logo, so the strips aren't even the six inches. I'm making a page right now just to use as much of brimfield as I can so I don't have to look at it anymore. Ugh.

I put in an order at SSS for some copic refills and when I received it there was a free stamp set in there with a note that one of the refills was out of stock but they would ship it out asap at their cost...which they did. What SC is doing is just wrong.

And we should be appreciated as valued customers. We should also be told the truth when things change. The have piss poor business ethic. The bate and switch thing has me floored. And they seem to make errors all the time. Not saying mistakes in business aren't made but I put together 2 magazines each month and I have 2 pages of things to check for. A company their size should have proofers--"we are selling these things so we shouldn't have other things pictured". How hard is that. If the customers can catch it why can't they catch their own product mistakes. And it seems that now when I order things I wonder if I will have a card in my package telling me a product was oversold and I will only get a credit if I start a convo. It seems like simple things to approve on but nothing changes. But it a good lesson for those of us who don't like change (me). Life does go on and their are new companies out there to fill our void. I have. |
