Guess who just received notice that they are being "kicked out" of Studio Calico. I'm shaking right now. More out of anger. I would like to know if they were reading posts here and got confused. Because, I mind my p's and q's since the new TOU... Oh my. I'm sorry to hear that. What about your classes?

@northrigg thankfully I have only 3 classes (the sketch book bundle) and most of the pdf's have been saved so I just have to get the rest before next week. katemac right?? I mean, no offense aggiebonfire00 but your posts have been way meaner than mine. LOL. . I guess it's a scapegoat thing and they're terrified someone is going to see my posts- probably because they male good points, but whatever. I would love to post something today letting as many people know about this BS but I need a bit more time to get my classes downloaded. I also need to make sure my AE account isn't deleted.

I've never heard of such a business practice.

I wonder what they would have done if you hadn't met obligations for kits--I wonder if they would have charged the cancellation fees.

Are they serious?! I guess they don't want people calling them on out their shitting business practices and holding them accountable for their actions. I don't see the problem with sharing your experiences with a company with other people on the message board. Maybe others are experiencing the same issue and if discussed openly can help drive change. Solving issues in a conversation doesn't do anything but HIDE stuff. But I guess thats what they want...
Ali needs to distance herself from them. Quickly.

I seriously have not posted anything inflammatory since the TOU's have changed. I directly addressed Savannah yesterday with the shipping order discrepancy but other than that, I keep out of "transactional" threads and I try and be as professional as possible. No, not fawning but honest and straight forward. Apparently that's just not ok anymore. They should probably add that to their TOU. @juliehenry4 anything for you? You've been as vocal as the two of us. Just curious. Thanks @northrigg. It sucks because I'm going to miss all the DD discussion. I don't do FB so I wont have the DD message boards anymore. Unless I create another account but that's just lame. And I know I can talk DDout here but I like being able to talk with people who have the same kits as me. So disappointed.

So I skimmed over the TOU. The board's purpose is for warm and fuzzies only. I hate when ppl say "whaaaa, that person was mean to mean". It's not mean if it's the truth. That board is a great idea if you want to know how your customers feel they are being treated. All their issues have nothing to do with that board so this will fix nothing. If customers were getting emails and communication that would help a great deal. Some only find out about their kits on the boards. It takes forever for SC to answer questions. Their are those that still don't know how things are being handle this month. I will buy this at a discount but I am done hanging on their board. And now we all have the fear of loosing what we've paid for. And how can they say your files and videos will all be there if they boot you off. I'll be backing my stuff up this weekend.

Was it just you stating that you felt Amber Housely was the driving force behind the stationary kit? I like Amber Housely well enough as a human being from what little I know about her, but pointing out that someone who spoke at a huge stationary show might have a perspective on what card makers want that differs from the wants of actual cardmakers doesn't seem like an attack. aggiebonfire00 Did I miss something? Would it be worth it to respond and ask for examples, because right now it sounds as if they're just being vindictive and kicking out people who aren't singing their praises and writing about rainbow farting unicorns.

I am not going to say that you two have been the cheeriest of posters, but I honestly don't see how they can justify the removal of either of you. Seriously, don't websites only remove users who are trolls?? I guess you are considered trolls??
The ironic part is that both of you have still been providing them with business even though you have been vocal about the things you are frustrated about. I have been vocal, but not nearly as much because I gave up. But that also means I quit spending money at all. As a matter of fact, I had a layout chosen as LOTW on the blog and received a gift certificate for it and also had the birthday code in August. Yet, I couldn't find enough to buy to use them. Even with the recent sale.
Anyway, sorry they are trying to make you two feel like trolls.
Amanda, there are a lot of us here who use AE's products and will be doing DD with her products. I am not using the main kit, but will be using a mini kit. We will encourage you along!
