That's absolutely INSANE. Can the rest of us start a thread protesting your removal??! You read my mind. This is pure insanity.

aggiebonfire00 I hope so! I love that we received the EXACT SAME emails, minus out names. Hilarious. Yet not. I am actually getting more pissed the more I think about it. I seriously have not posted anything inflammatory since the TOU's have changed. I directly addressed Savannah yesterday with the shipping order discrepancy but other than that, I keep out of "transactional" threads and I try and be as professional as possible. No, not fawning but honest and straight forward. Apparently that's just not ok anymore. They should probably add that to their TOU. @juliehenry4 anything for you? You've been as vocal as the two of us. Just curious. Thanks @northrigg. It sucks because I'm going to miss all the DD discussion. I don't do FB so I wont have the DD message boards anymore. Unless I create another account but that's just lame. And I know I can talk DDout here but I like being able to talk with people who have the same kits as me. So disappointed. not yet but I'm waiting for it!

I would love to see a thread protesting the removal, I would log in and join. But I really wonder how long it would stay active, especially if you post the email they were sent. All hell would break loose until the "capt. save a $#%" (blanked out to avoid offending anyone) team shows up to defend SC.

Yup. Ya'll are right. SC screwed up and sent my order twice! I just received FOUR emails saying;
Hello, As your shipment comes in, you will notice that we accidentally sent your order twice. You should receive two identical boxes, and each of these have the same contents. Please set one of these aside as I have already reached out to UPS and arranged a pickup to help make this as simple as possible for you. At some point in the next two weeks, a representative from UPS will come back to your house to collect the unopened duplicate. For your convenience, they will attempt to collect the package three times. We have taken care of the shipping cost and UPS will provide the label for the return upon pickup. Thank you so much for your continued support and business. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Have a great day, Savannah

How much is shipping? Surely it would be cheaper at this point for them to let you keep the duplicates?

Dang, it's been locked already!! I had just typed up this:
Totally agree. I was so excited to start my PL sub last year, but only made it to July before canceling. There were too many changes and too much miscommunication. I was sad to drop my sub because I really enjoyed my little box of goodies each month. But things have gone even further south since then and I'm so glad I got out when I did.
Now banning members?!? Come on. People on these boards should know about this so they can watch their step...

Have a great day, Savannah SMH So for the next two weeks you have to sit at home and hope you're there when UPS stops by? That's crap. I work for a company where I have to send UPS call tags to customers if they're returning something. UPS goes by their office within 3 business days. What if they make three attempts and you're not there? Do you get to keep the extra order?

So I skimmed over the TOU. The board's purpose is for warm and fuzzies only. I hate when ppl say "whaaaa, that person was mean to mean". It's not mean if it's the truth. That board is a great idea if you want to know how your customers feel they are being treated. All their issues have nothing to do with that board so this will fix nothing. If customers were getting emails and communication that would help a great deal. Some only find out about their kits on the boards. It takes forever for SC to answer questions. Their are those that still don't know how things are being handle this month. I will buy this at a discount but I am done hanging on their board. And now we all have the fear of loosing what we've paid for. And how can they say your files and videos will all be there if they boot you off. I'll be backing my stuff up this weekend. macaddict I have mixed feelings about censoring messageboards, but I don't think perception of truth of statements should be the ONLY screening criteria - if someone posted that Jenny Fakename, SC employee, is an adulterer, AND it happened to be true, I'd still think that the post should be deleted. I feel this way because it's irrelevant to the goods or services for purchase from SC, AND the purpose of the post seems to be to shame or otherwise harm Ms. Fakename. The only time it would be relevant is if SC advertised a guarantee to customers that no one in the company had ever engaged in an extramarital affair, or if Ms. Fakename was sending out damaged goods, failing to mail products, or skimming items from customer's kits as part of elaborate role playing in the context of that affair. I also think that directly telling someone on a company's messageboard that their product designs suck and they are talentless is not helpful or useful feedback, and seems like a post created for purposes of trolling. Even if everyone who uses the product HATES that person's designs, unless you're going to make suggestions and/or explain WHY you hate the products the person designed, it seems like something better addressed elsewhere - possibly in an email to the company, or, more likely, in a conversation with friends. Unfortunately for most businesses, it seems like customers who have several disappointing experiences often don't approach the company, but instead refuse to purchase any more products and warn friends/family/acquaintances away. However, it seems like saying "I hate this product because every time I take it out of the packaging, my cat speaks in tongues and the drapes burst into flames!" would be useful feedback - no one is going to continue purchasing products that may be demonically possessed. Or that they find unappealing. Similarly, it seems to me to be a legitimate statement that you, as a customer, feel disconnected from the direction the company is moving, that a product purchased from them is a poor value, that you are frustrated by issues with product delivery, or that a product fails to preform in the fashion advertised. And, when a product fails to preform as expected, is not delivered on time, includes hidden fees, or is left out of an order, it seems unrealistic to expect every customer who has been disappointed to be ultra-courteous, discreet, and patient. Penalizing someone for critiquing a *product* or *service* that they have paid for to the very people best able to rectify the situation on a public forum to encourage accountability seems not only unfair, but likely to backfire. In that regard, I agree with your statement that saying the critique is "mean" misses the whole point - namely, that the person issuing the critique sees themselves as having been duped or taken advantage of in some way, a behavior that can also be classified as "mean".

I would love to start a convo to find out how many strikes there are against me so I know if I want to risk posting anything ever again.... Because after all asking how to salvage bent paper was a TOU violation that got my thread deleted. But what if asking the question is my last strike!? I still have that class to complete that was all video- so no way to save or keep it of they throw me out- guess that gives me some time to draft my farewell speech.
How much you wanna bet they "accidentally" delete your from AE too?

Oh! I was, in no way, saying that! I agree that if it doesn't have anything to do with business it shouldn't be there. And I don't even like comments like "it just isn't my style" because that's an opinion and just because I don't like something doesn't mean someone else doesn't. But when they changed the card kit to a stationary kit that was bad business. What they should of done is started a stationary kit and discontinued the card kit. They are not open and honest with customers like taking preorders on an item then switching the photo and not saying anything. I learned that stuff on the boards because they don't communicate. Companies are bound to make mistakes but they don't handle them well and the MB seems like the only place to keep them honest and open. That's all I'm saying. I wouldn't even call an employee out by name because no matter what an employee does it is still the company and they are responsible for that employee.

I wanted to come over here and let you guys know that I'm in Facebook group, and there are not one, not two, not three, but at least five people who have stated they have received duplicate boxes that they did not order. One of those persons received 10 emails with instructions on how it's to be sent back to them! On top of that there is one person who is short a kit she ordered. I am completely flabbergasted at their screw ups and I don't even order anything from them. If they think people are just talking on this forum then they are sadly mistaken. It's all over the place.

My "market research" comment was on the cardstock thread. I said that the reason they didn't have that add on anymore is because their "market research" apparently concluded nobody has time to make cards. Even though the CT pretty much made all handmade cards. I said that you couldn't even supplement the cardstock from the main kit because they took two more sheets from the kit. I don't think that was mean. Or negative. Just is what is is.
