I would love to see all of those people that had their order ship more than once post some epic #mysckitishere pics to IG. Ha ha
And BTW- why hasn't that thread been locked since it violates the TOU?! Too busy trying to keep that other skeleton in the closet I guess.

I'm new here, but have reading along for quite a long time. Man... I am about to lose my sh*t!
Between deleted comments like the one on the mini tape dispenser (for just saying that they didn't like it?) to locking threads to deleting members. I can barely handle it. Now I am being asked to sit around my house for the next two weeks waiting for a UPS man to pick up a second package that they sent me on accident? Most companies would just be like, "Our fault... go ahead and keep it for being such a loyal customer." But it seems like SC is just like " WE HATE ALL OF YOU GIVE US BACK OUR STUFF NOW! " . (even though I am victim of them not sending me products that I paid for... which I have yet to receive from TWO MONTHS AGO!).
sorry guys... end rant.

I find it ironic, and hysterical, that they are trying to shush people to keep the drama down. But they are their own catalyst for drama. It's ridiculous!!!

If they were smart, they would just get rid of their message board.
If I got an extra package and had not received supplies owed to me, there is no way I would be sending that box back. And if they didn't owe me anything, I'd just put it on the front porch.

I doubt it will last long, but I posted on their boards. So frustrating. That was such an awesome post!!!! I'm really surprised they haven't taken it down yet too. Maybe they're leaving it up as a warning to other members: "behave, or this will be your fate. Bwahahahahahahaha!" (said in the evil-villan type of voice).

My "market research" comment was on the cardstock thread. I said that the reason they didn't have that add on anymore is because their "market research" apparently concluded nobody has time to make cards. Even though the CT pretty much made all handmade cards. I said that you couldn't even supplement the cardstock from the main kit because they took two more sheets from the kit. I don't think that was mean. Or negative. Just is what is is. Well, that's what THEY said and that's what THEY did. I don't see the problem or secret or insult or whatever they wish to call it. Even if you did not post that, everyone on that MB already knew that.

I think that we should respond on every thread that violates the new TOU with the phrase " um sorry but we can't post this because it violates the TOU" you know just to help them sort things out because they don't seem to know which ones do or not. Like all the ones mentioning shipping, items of a transactional nature i.e "what did you pick up at last call?", anything that mentions a SC employee...the list could be pretty long!

I don't even know what to say, this is so crazy. I can't imagine how expensive it is for then to have all those boxes shipped back! I am certainly not waiting for ups to come by, if they want me to tell the when I am available that is fine, but I will not miss work or my regular life to wait for them. Isn't there a way for Sc to contact ups and recall the boxes before they arrive? I know you can pay extra to have boxes change their shipping address after they have shipped. And how in the works did this happeN? Totally not shocked you were kicked out aggiebonfire, but abragg I am surprised that you were that doesn't make any sense to me. You haven't been posting anything negative for awhile.

I have never heard of a company asking for merchandise to be shipped back! Normally they take the loss and say keep it. Of all the years I have worked in logistics, never once have we ever send out emails demanding that orders WE MESSED UP ON be given back. I see it every single day. Normally, we would say our apologies, instruct the customer to keep it and then try to replace any items which were shorted to other customers or offer them some other type of incentive. No "sorry not sorry" pieces of paper in their boxes!
While it would be nice for everyone to give the items back, it is very unrealistic to expect it and I wonder if they will impose penalties or charge people who don't give the items back to UPS. Legally I do not believe they can even do this. the costs to send out UPS 4 times go pick up a package is insane and not worth it when UPS knows they won't get the item. The only time customers hand over the item is if it was received damaged, but if its extra free shit then they definitely are not giving it back. All the customer needs to say is "i didn't receive it or it got stolen off my porch" or just not answer the door. Sounds shitty but it happens a lot and you can't really fight that, nor can I really put blame on them.
I do feel bad though because i'm sure many of you who didn't get what you preordered is a result of this, and in which case, SC needs to make this right ASAP. If I worked in their operations or fulfillment, I would clean house because this has been handled extremely poorly and this is exactly how you lose customers.

I just got this email from Studio Calico: Lindsay, After reading your recent comments on the message board, we’ve become very discouraged with the relationship that you have with Studio Calico. The purpose of our online community is to be a place of inspiration and fellowship, not a place of negativity. We ask that if our customers have concerns or questions regarding transactions, sales, product or customer experience that they bring those concerns to us via conversations. As the Customer Service Manager, this enables me to make sure that a customer is attended to properly. I simply cannot address these concerns efficiently or effectively in the message boards. We’ve noticed that you’re consistently unhappy with our services and have removed several comments and posts from you because they violate our Terms of Use. At this point we believe it is best for us to part ways, therefore we are deactivating your Studio Calico account and cancelling your subscriptions. You have until the 18th of September at 11:59 p.m. EST to download any files you would like to save. If you post anything further on the message boards, we will immediately revoke your access and send you an email with your digital files. Thank you, Savannah M. Gillispie Customer Experience Manager Studio Calico | Ali Edwards | A Beautiful Mess | Courage Works Double damn! I would be tempted to just post another post, giving them the middle finger and let them email me all my files. Since Savannah is wanting to be so helpful and all...

Yeah, I'm not sure which of these takes precedence, though:
"Q. Am I obligated to return or pay for merchandise I never ordered?
A. No. If you receive merchandise that you didn’t order, you have a legal right to keep it as a free gift."
Or,
"Q. What should I do if the unordered merchandise I received was the result of an honest shipping error?
A. Write the seller and offer to return the merchandise, provided the seller pays for postage and handling. Give the seller a specific and reasonable amount of time (say 30 days) to pick up the merchandise or arrange to have it returned at no expense to you. Tell the seller that you reserve the right to keep the merchandise or dispose of it after the specified time has passed."
I'm sure it was an honest mistake on SC's part--seriously, as crazy as they are, they wouldn't purposefully send extra kits out. But it's also stuff you didn't order.

I was in the process of starting a conversation, before the emails came, to do the right thing but seriously folks, do we really think that everyone will send there's back?

I think they are crazy to think that people will really wait around for UPS to come pick up the packages... People have jobs and real lives. I wouldn't.

Just want to clarify that I'm The one that got 10 emails. I did get 10 emails but only four convos. I think my email got over excited or something. Having said that I can't believe this is happening and they expect me to sit around two weeks to have someone pick it up. Not to mention that one box weighs a whole 2lb more than the other and I opened both.

I just saw this on "the blog." What a great idea if you're crazy enough to commit to those fools: Well, at least there's a way for people to get out of their SC subs early. Just express dissatisfaction on their boards and poof! Cancelled sub, no penalties.

They are such a joke, I'm not even directly impacted but i'm kinda upset. Mostly because this is what I do for a living (i like it alot surprisingly) and I would never treat customers like this, this is disgusting.

You know, with their new and improved site.

I will absolutely give my box back if ups comes when I am home, but no how, no way will I miss work or anything else to wait for them. They can schedule a time that does not inconvenience me. I am really flabbergasted at this fiasco, this has got to be the craziest thing that has happened, right? This really does beat all, and that is saying something,

I wish I was getting an extra box. I'd put a pile of dog shit in it and a handmade card and gladly wait for UPS to pick it up and return to sender!
