I just got home from Disneyland and my kit was in the mailbox, can someone else who has the SC PL kit try stamping with the roller stamp the phrase "take out" I haven't tried it yet, but just by looking at the roller stamp it looks like it says "take ont"?

I saw a couple of examples on IG and it does say 'take out'. The u is a slightly odd shape so maybe that's why it looks like an n? |

How was DL? Did you see the HMH? I can't wait to see it 3.5 months!!!!!! It was great! We hadn't been in over two years as our family has been saving up to go to WDW in November. So today was the day that we got our Premier Passes good for both coasts! And yes we went on the Haunted Mansion ride and even though we were miserable standing in line for it (91 degrees with 40% humidity) it was worth it to see the updated technology in the elevator ceiling! I thought of you while I was on it! My son had me take a picture of Jack during the ride! I'm going to try stamping mine before I go to bed but it definitely is not a U on mine but more like a backwards N. I was just wondering if anyone else's was like that. |

I have their older style ones (same except different coloured zipper), and they're awesome... Have lasted two years so far and still as good as new... Sturdy enough that if you put loose bits in there (like die cuts), and then put it into a tote or bag, the zippered pouch keeps everything flat/protected... Container Store has cheap shipping to Canada too, and their CS is awesome... There's not one close to me but I found one in NYC so I guess I look the next time I'm there. What sizes do you like? These are the ones I ordered... It fits in all of my work bags, and if I'm not using a work bag it's sturdy enough I can toss it in the car and not worry... The letter size is good for large scraps, and any 8x8 projects or card projects I'm working on and want to take somewhere... Or if I just want to set them aside... The smallest is great for die cuts and PL cards... They'd fit in the larger bags but since they'd haut all settle at the bottom anyways, the smaller one is more useful... I've also used them to carry gelatos, paint brushes, and other messy stuff in the medium and larger size ones... Just depends on how much I'm packing... I'm kinda addicted to them  |

I'm curious (and worried, if that the right word), about what their collaboration is... How much has been revealed about what it's going to be? (Also - because this is where most of the SC peeps are hanging out now, if anyone has that Canada stamp they'd be interested in selling/trading for, please PM me... There's a great FSOT board here but thought this thread might just be the place to ask... Don't know why  ) |

I heard back about my conversation re: the screw up and my Halloween House guests stamp set. Sure we will refund your Calico points...sorry we haven't heard that is going to be restocked...the end. They didn't even mention anything about not giving me a refund or the useless house stamp that I can't use without the house guests. Well, I already started ANOTHER conversation before they answered that one asking to speak to a supervisor because I WANT my stamps. If they have to reorder then they should because I PAID and still have not received a refund. I don't even WANT a refund I want my stamps, and they can go out and get them for me. On a sid enote, if anyone did order them and receives a second set I will buy them from you and pay shipping etc. Better than paying SC I guess. SO MAD...I am going to keep starting conversations until they answer me properly. I don't care if someone on the CS team has to send me their personal stamps I am getting those stamps. I am a REALLY NICE patient person (seriously, ask anyone) but this is INSANE. How do you survive as a business by sending out a tonne of double orders? REALLY?
Sorry, just so upset.

So my post is gone. I am not surprised or even particularly upset. But I am confused. I have never had a post or comment deleted from their site before. All of my notifications except for the last four are gone. Two are the last two likes in my gallery and two are the last two people who followed me. Those are the only notifications I have at all. Why would they delete all my notifications or why would they all disappear if they only deleted my one post? Has that happened to any of you? I wonder if SC does lurk here? I'm so sorry for calling out your post and bringing more attention to it. |

There are a couple people that posted on a shipping thread saying their packages haven't shipped yet... They probably have nothing to send them! I can't believe SC hasn't reached out to them yet to explain! It's 9/13 already! Crazy.

I sent a pm to the sweet lady who offered before the thread was deleted. Sorry I don't have her screen name with me and I don't think she is a member here. I have to believe there were quite a few of those special cards packed this month, with so many orders being doubled. Such an awful situation for SC. But it was so nice for the sweet person to make that offer to me. THAT is what I miss the most too about the 'old' SC. |

She's written books (including two NYT bestsellers), speaks, has an organization, researches, teaches... She's established and has a strong presence of her own (meaning I don't see her 'needing' SC for PR)... Her latest book just came out this month... Oh no no - the card actually says 'We are so so sorry....' Lol I was being snarky and then changed my post. It is a very nice card and the back has lines and you can use it. I don't understand why Brene Brown would sign with SC when she had a partnership with Oprah. Oprah! She had a class related to her first book there that I took. Actually Ali was a contributor for one piece. Maybe that's how she connected to SC?

I gotta believe SC would not be involved with Brene Brown unless they see it as a way to make more money. Just running a message board (which they are SO good at <sarcasm>) won't do it. I predict a planner or journal. Subscription based, of course.
On another note, I received my PL kit and I am happy, Happy, HAPPY!!!!! Why? Because it's the last of them. I am out! Done! Finished with SC products. I'm still on the fence with Ali and am committed through the end of the year. But next year, I just don't know. And I've been a huge Ali supporter. I guess all the drama has worn me out.

Am I the only one not into Brene Brown, "brave girl" stuff or any of that? I've read one of her books way back when (I have daughters so I'm always trying to learn about raising them and this is another tool in the box.....) and I found it useful but I don't need cards, reminders, quotes, home decor, etc. to remind myself to be brave, etc. Maybe because for the most part I am a confident woman as it is by a stroke of luck. I don't knock it for anyone who needs the encouragement (may be my daughters some day) but I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like that kind of stuff around my house/scrapbooks? Is it just me?!!

I don't really understand their TOU and don't think my post officially went against it, but I guess I knew they wouldn't like the thread or I wouldn't have titled it the way I did. It wasn't transactional, it wasn't a customer service issue, it wasn't rude, it wasn't disrespectful, it wasn't personally criticizing staff or other members. I thought it was real and meaningful - not rude and mean. There was only one comment underneath before they locked it and I don't remember it breaking the TOU either. They locked it before anyone else could comment. |

I really hope someone who got a duplicate of the stamp just sends it to you once they really are not required to send the stuff back to SC. It was sold out before I made my order from the Labor Day sale or I would have ordered it. I completely agree you need to let them know that you are not going to let this go. They need to send you the Halloween house guest stamp or give you a refund for the useless house stamp. Heck, if they really cared about customer service they would actually do both to make up for their mistake.
I think if anyone here gets a duplicate of the stamp they should send it to imperia (heck, I would even pay the postage for you if you do) and send the rest of the box back to SC with a note saying you oversold the stamp and you are so so so sorry and then write on the back #sorrynotsorry in pencil.
