I ordered the PL Main kit (my sub) Bakelite and Saturn addons 2 tubes of Color Theroy ink class kit I got doubles of all of these. The only thing I even want to keep is the alpha from the Saturn addon lol maybe some cards from my PL kit that I really like, but nothing else. I could see them wanting the class kit back because I don't want someone to miss out on that because I got 2, but I really doubt they need any of the other stuff back. Of course I'm willing to send it all back. Crazy! That was some computer glitch.

My order from Labor Day was shorted because they sent doubles to everyone. The stickers I ordered contained a nice little note saying sorry but we oversold (a.k.a. Sucks to be you.) They said they would be in touch but, of course they didn't let me know before they shipped my order. Or after they shipped my order. I've heard they will offer a store credit rather than a refund. Does anyone know if this is true? That would be a violation of FTC rules. I don't understand how they can be so profoundly bad at customer service and business. They make the same mistakes over and over. Sending out the double kits was the cherry on top. I don't see them in business three years from now. I think we need to start a pool. Don't know about the store credit thing, but if you paid by credit card just stop the payment until it's sorted. (a) they should have told you about the oversold item before your box shipped and (b) they should give you a refund without you requiring to make contact since they couldn't supply something you had purchased. I agree - just don't understand all the CS issues - and they seem to be getting worse.

I'm willing to return the double box because I don't want other to miss out on stuff they ordered, but if they are just sending out sorry we oversold cards and they aren't keeping track of who was shorted then what's the point? If they restock the returned product in the store that doesn't guarantee that the people who got the oversold card will be able to buy it again before it sells out. They should be communicating to both sides what happened. I believe people would be more than happy to return the duplicates so others don't miss out.But is there even a choice of returning or not returning, regardless? If I received a double by mistake and I don't return the extra, wouldn't they just charge me for it? (I guess I'm not really understanding this SC double and oversold issue clearly!) lizacreates - If people are like me... I am getting the "oversold" card and STILL being charged for all the "oversold" items. I have yet to be issued store credit or a refund. They seem to be ignoring me. As for the duplicate shipping.... it is illegal for them to charge for THEIR mistake. As I am understanding from legal advice, it is against FTC regulations for them to charge you for things you did not order. It is also very difficult to define "shipping error" because any company could use this as an explanation for a scam. I DO NOT think SC is trying to scam everyone, and I am happy to return my duplicates. It is really just the principle of it all. I find it hilarious that they won't give me my product I paid for but are very so insistent that I accommodate them on their mistakes.

Thankfully, that's illegal. If it wasn't, SC probably would've charged everyone by now.

Rally the troops, so to speak. 60+ pages is a lot to sift through. It's a pretty daunting thread! Entertaining as hell, though. Well, I was kind enough to send them to page 52 where Amanda and Lindsay first mentioned getting the messages. haha, of course you did. I'm so duh sometimes.

Yes, the way they are going about retrieving the extras is ridiculous. First off their email was very abrupt and rude. And to get it 4 times is just obnoxious. They never once apologize for inconveniencing us or ask us if there is anything they could do to make this easier for us. Telling me that I basically need to wait for two weeks for someone at ups to come by to pick up the box that they sent? I work during the week, it is pretty unlikely that UPS will be by when I am home as they never deliver when I am home. Of course, if someone at SC shorts you something and they actually have the product they make you wait an entire month before they send it out to you. And they don't do anything to apologize or make up for that either. When I was a subber there were many times I was missing product and I ALWAYS had to wait a month for the missing items, even though other people on the board would post about missing items being sent out right away. When I called them on that they just kept insisting it was SC policy to ship out missing items with the next months kits and that no one was given preferential treatment. I don't see why we should have to be so prompt to return items at their convenience, but they don't do the same for their customers. I have two boxes coming, on two different days even, and since there is a pound difference I will absolutely be opening both boxes if the first one I open is missing something. I will absolutely give ups the box if they come when I am home, but I am not going to halt my life waiting for them. So far, abragg and I are getting duplicates, who else is? Is it only people who ordered from the sale or are some monthly kits being sent out twice too?

The good thing is that if my box is missing anything, they have to refund my money because I'm not allowed to shop there anymore! And I went to message sun_shine on the board, but when I click on her name…it kicks me back to the homepage. I'm guessing they blocked me from messaging members?

I heard back about my conversation re: the screw up and my Halloween House guests stamp set. Sure we will refund your Calico points...sorry we haven't heard that is going to be restocked...the end. They didn't even mention anything about not giving me a refund or the useless house stamp that I can't use without the house guests. Well, I already started ANOTHER conversation before they answered that one asking to speak to a supervisor because I WANT my stamps. If they have to reorder then they should because I PAID and still have not received a refund. I don't even WANT a refund I want my stamps, and they can go out and get them for me. On a sid enote, if anyone did order them and receives a second set I will buy them from you and pay shipping etc. Better than paying SC I guess. SO MAD...I am going to keep starting conversations until they answer me properly. I don't care if someone on the CS team has to send me their personal stamps I am getting those stamps. I am a REALLY NICE patient person (seriously, ask anyone) but this is INSANE. How do you survive as a business by sending out a tonne of double orders? REALLY? Sorry, just so upset. Ugh I really hope you get the friends set, impearia.

Aggiebonfire, are all your posts gone from the site? Are you banned from Ali's site as well? I seriously wonder what will happen tomorrow, do you think any of the sassy posts will be left up or just deleted? I wonder if other members will get warnings or just banned outright. I am betting on warnings, they have to be a little leery of getting rid of more subbers. Sadly I.cant access the computer much during work, if anything exciting happens, I hope you guys will keep us in the loop! Any really sassy posts, please copy and paste for our reading pleasure!!!

I work also and will not be home. They should have contacted people personally and offered to send a pre-paid shipping label. That way I could have just dropped it off to UPS on my way to work. At lease some people get their product the next month... they act like my missing products just never happened! Even though I have the sorrynotsorry card to prove it. I received duplicates and opened both boxes before I even received emails about duplicated. I was just confused and thought they split my order in half. I received sale items and my monthly kit... everything twice...can't wait to get out of my subscription.

I must have had my head under a rock because I only recently heard of BB. Has she been around for a while? It seems the collab has to do with hosting (not sure if that's the right word) new online classes/community which she's launching next year. Not sure what else is involved. If you look at 'contact us', the contact point is SC: www.courageworks.com/aboutShe's been around a while, but got a lot of notice mainstream when she did a TED talk in 2010... She's a legit academic - a research professor who studies (among things), vulnerability, courage, and wholeheartedness... Her TED talk was about vulnerability and is one of the most watched talks ever (third or fifth, can't remember atm)... She's written books (including two NYT bestsellers), speaks, has an organization, researches, teaches... She's established and has a strong presence of her own (meaning I don't see her 'needing' SC for PR)... Her latest book just came out this month... This is her famous TED talk; about 20 minutes long... youtu.be/iCvmsMzlF7oThanks for the video link penny. Will be interesting to see what else the partnership brings.

They charged me and then said they didn't have it to send. I started a conversation because, hey, they didn't LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I asked them to credit my card and the associated shipping fee. We will see.

Flibbertigibbet what kits did you get shorted? I'm pretty sure I have double of Frank and Ferris Wheel coming. I'm not sure what kits sold out. @skellinton I saw a couple hilariously sassy post this morning too. Actually snorted water up my.nose with one of them. I only ordered Lily. Honestly, I couldn't find much even at half price that seemed like enough of a value to make a purchase. Ironic that I finally ordered even one and got burned.

I bet imperia's post will be next to go since someone posted it is against tou. I imagine on Monday more members will be getting banned notices or warnings. People are bing kind of sassy over there today! I just read that post, and had to reply. I´m pretty sure I´ll get a banning notice tomorrow. I just can´t help my self. I think that the way they are treating loyal customers is awful. Plain rude! The way they are handling things now is just WOW..... No sorry, no statements, no nothing. Just banning people for letting their customers know the truth about them.

Why not just email the prepaid return label to the customers who received a double shipment? I’ve had this happen a couple times before…I got an email with an attachment. I printed it and dropped off the package at the Office Depot near me on my way to work. Or if I saw a UPS truck somewhere I would hand it over to the driver. No hassles. No waiting at home for UPS. I would think SC would have a far higher likelihood of getting those boxes back if they did it the normal way. What happens after three unsuccessful attempts by UPS? (I don’t know, but this is sounding like a time bomb waiting to explode.)

I'm getting two shipments too. And according to UPS, each box weighs a different amount. I have a PL sub, Kraft paper and a 6x6 paper pad (I was trying to use up my SC points before I cancel my sub). I'm opening both boxes because the weight discrepancy seems odd. Wouldn't both packages weigh the same? Mine won't come until Wednesday (I'm located in Idaho and have no idea why it takes so long to get my package since it was sent in the first the first day items were shipped). My stuff is sent to work but I'm usually at lunch when UPS arrives and they typically leave the packages in another office. I don't really feel like inconveniencing another office and asking them to return the extra box sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Well, this whole returning issue makes zero sense. (I don’t know, but this is sounding like a time bomb waiting to explode.) My thoughts exactly. I would think it'd be much cheaper to ask people to adhere a new shipping label to a box than paying extra to have UPS attempt to try to pick up packages for people who may or may not be home.

I've seen a bunch of people mention the weight discrepancy on packages that should be exactly the same. Aren't international subbers charged shipping based on weight? Does that apply to domestic subbers/non-subbers, too? If so, it sounds like you might be getting charged additional shipping charges for a package that's listed as heavier than it actually is.

So my post is gone. I am not surprised or even particularly upset. But I am confused. I have never had a post or comment deleted from their site before. All of my notifications except for the last four are gone. Two are the last two likes in my gallery and two are the last two people who followed me. Those are the only notifications I have at all. Why would they delete all my notifications or why would they all disappear if they only deleted my one post? Has that happened to any of you? I wonder if SC does lurk here? I'm so sorry for calling out your post and bringing more attention to it.

I would think SC would have a far higher likelihood of getting those boxes back if they did it the normal way. What happens after three unsuccessful attempts by UPS? (I don’t know, but this is sounding like a time bomb waiting to explode.) The whole thing is just odd. They must be paying a fortune to get the stuff back. Mine were both shipped the same day, but one is coming Wednesday the other Thursday. It would make much more sense for them to ship us a return label and have us drop the boxes off, but if they did that I sure as heck would expect some sort of "thank you" for doing so. I wonder if they think people are more likely to turn the boxes over if someone comes to the house rather then dropping it off. They have to know we don't have to return the boxes, since it was their error we are allowed to keep them and there is nothing they can do about it. I would never do that because I know that just means someone else isn't getting their order and karma can be a bitch, but if I am not home when ups comes by SC better figure out another way to get their box back. If I had duplicate pl packages coming I sure as heck would swap the bag out for an old box though. They certainly have plenty of those bags to replace it and that would be hilarious!
