The funny thing is, is that her comment on that thread was the rudest comment I have seen in a long time from anyone on that message board. She took a positive-constructive thread that was actually going pretty well for threads as of late and started the "shit slinging" all on her own.

I'm surprised about the customs forms...I guess they're trying to save the customers taxes or fees associated with the value? But doesn't the declared value also insure it for that much if it's lost or destroyed? Wouldn't they rather be protecting themselves from lost product? My parcels always have the same value declared for customs, even the AE ones (I think 15/20 dollars? Which is around the limit customs in Spain start examining packages and charging) I'm guessing they rather take the "insurance loss" if something happens with the parcel than annoy international costumers with delays and customs fees. I'm not sure how I missed this...you live in Spain? Me too! |

Yes, I would post a thank you too…but if I post anything on the message board, they will delete my account and I still haven't finished downloading everything I paid for. I wish there was a spreadsheet of all the users that have broken the TOU, and the ones that have had posts removed. I am willing to bet that there are people that have had more infringements than me, said things way worse than I have ever said, and haven't been banned. Shoot, there are people that are very vocal over there that don't even purchase from them! At least I was purchasing from them every month! Whatever. I can buy 2 Lululemon running skirts or a new pair of my running shoes every month now that I don't have the honor of purchasing from them! |

You know, mdith4him…I’m not even an SC customer and this got my goat. I can only imagine what the affected customer is feeling! People are trying to do the right thing and SC won’t even cooperate! What kind of craziness is that? They would rather dig their heels in and make it harder, not only for the customer, but for THEMSELVES as well! If anyone can make sense of this, heaven bless her. It's called self righteousness and narcissism by the person in charge.  |

The thing that I find really, really sad on the message board is everyone is walking on egg shells. When I reread the original post, the last paragraph stood out to me in particular:
I think it's sad that people have to put these types of disclaimers in their posts now. And this is not a slam against the OP, it's how the company is running now that this is even necessary. I've probably said it too many times in this 71-page thread, but the old SC is gone, and this is how it is.

I don't take that as a slam at all don't worry, I thought the same thing as I wrote it, but at the same time I didn't want my thoughts to get me kicked out especially when I just signed up for Tina's class lol |

Remember how I was shorted a kit from the Labor Day sale? They have no record on not sending it to me. Seriously? They have no idea what they send out and don't send out? Im glad they sent an acknowledgement note or I'd be screwed. Yes, it was only one kit but it shouldn't matter if it was one or ten.

So if Rockermorsans's comment is how the general board populous feels (the SC cheerleaders) then they apparently want to continue drinking the SC koolaid, give their money to a company that doesn't care about them at all, and stick their fingers in their ears singing coombyah when anyone tried to tell them what is actually going on. It would make shipments more accurate and probably make life easier for the warehouse staff when dealing with bundled orders. SC is the only online company that I've shopped with that doesn't include some sort of inventory of what's in the box. More often than not, the packer has checked and/or initialed putting everything I've paid for in the box too. |

I think the liked/hearted posts are the ones people stand behind. And you can easily see which ones have the most of those. But really...every time I post there I feel like I have to be super careful about how I say things or the tone and all of that. Thinking that hard before you post isn't fun, which is why I bet a lot of people have stopped posting.

Hi everyone. I just got up to speed with the whole shipping debacle as well as the banning from SC, thanks mostly to this thread. I had to make a new account to post this here. I might violate TOU if I post on the SC boards. Did anyone else get e-mailS from SC about another shipping error? They sent the same e-mail more than once. According to the e-mails, their warehouse dealt with a few shipping glitches during September main shipping, and apparently, during that time, my order wasn't charged for shipping. WHAT. I didn't even bother checking my order confirmation when the charge went through, because I chose the cheapest option. So, I looked for it after I read their e-mail, and true enough, $0.00 is indicated under Shipping.  They did say that "we will NOT be issuing an additional charge to collect the missed fees- instead, please consider shipment of this order on us!" A few shipping glitches?? With double shipments and shipments that didn't get charged, I would say there was a major problem on their shipping end this month, not to mention a big expense (if more subscribers also didn't get charged for shipping). |

Wow. I am just catching up on todays post. Honestly, I think the only ones who are 'happy' about the current SC are those who are wanting (or already are) design team members. That, by default, makes their opinion useless to me.  I do remember Rockermorsan in the past being bitchy and handslapping everyone who didn't agree with her. I don't know her personally, but from the way I read her postings in cases like this, I tend to think that this is 'just how she is'. Maybe she doesn't mean to come across that way, IDK, but there have been a couple of times I read her replies and wondered WTF. On another note. My sister ordered one of the stationery kits - mainly for the wooden stamp - and it came today. She called me and was asking if the plasticy bag thing is what everyone had been waiting for. She was unimpressed. Said the biggest card (not sure which one it is, but its like 5x7 or something) was crammed into the envelope and bent. She also commented that there was some sort of sticker on the ink pad that said 'gimme' - implying it was a freebie for the kit. Did anyone else see this? She is irritated that SC included that sticker considering it was in the list of stuff included. Besides the wooden stamp and the ink pad she said that nothing was worth the money. Anyway, what was everyone else's thoughts on the kit? |

When I first saw the name of the contest winner on one of the posts here – Dymock - I recognized the name but couldn’t recall how.
This afternoon it just occurred to me…I had a SB book from way back when written by Kristina Contes (remember the HOF scandal? I think it was on the old 2 peas board.). Kristina and Meghan formed The Dares (does anyone remember that – they were the rebel chicks of the scrapbooking world). I no longer have that book but I’m pretty sure my recollection is accurate.
Does anyone here know what I’m talking about?
