Oh, the irony, as Delta soars, hospitals are filling up again, breakthrough infections are happening left and right. Yah, things are not looking much up right now. But hey, at least I have the stamp set for whenever things do look up. Seriously, now we need a “Here we go again” and “Covid Round #___” stamp set. I just got home from taking my 14yo for a Covid test. So over this ish. Hope your kiddo's alright, honeypea! This pandemic is a Lenny Kravitz fan, change my mind.

She works in a pharmacy and the doctor said he surprised she's this far along in the pandemic and just now getting it. She tried going back to work today but couldn't get past 3 hrs. She traced it back 5 people.

I'm sorry my CV+ Peas. This is all a bunch of bullshit and I hate that some people are just "living their best life" and screwing everyone else. I liked your posts, but I don't like them at all. Just know you aren't alone.

I know about 8 people who currently have Covid. All of them are fully vaccinated. Two of them, my next door neighbors, are both very sick. Scary.

That is very discouraging!! 😭 Thanks for the well wishes, peas! 🤗 She is fully vaccinated and our home test came out negative, so hopefully just a summer cold. She has high school orientation on Friday, so just doing our duty to make for sure sure before she attends.

Things were hopeful then, and now it’s all just so frustrating and so much of it preventable if people would stop being selfish idiots.

It is scary and down right infuriating. We wouldn't be in this predicament if a certain section of the population A. weren't making covid a political issue and hell bent on sticking it to the libs and B. So God damned ignorant they believe crap about the vaccines having chips put in by Gates or that the vaccine makes them magnetic and infertile. And C. So obsessed with the supposed human right violations of being forced to wear a mask (while still wanting to regulate what a woman does with her body) It royally pisses me off. I wish we could separate the vaccinated and sensible and their under 12 children into a walled society (around DL or WDW obviously) and let the antivax morons suffer the consequences of their actions.

I live in a definite hotspot and it’s sad and scary. And school starts soon. Here’s hoping for a vaccine approval for the younger kids soon.

I "liked" your post but definitely don't like it at all. My friend's fully vaxxed aunt got covid after hanging around with unvaxxed people unmasked and is in the hospital on a ventilator (she has other comorbidities). It's so scary still and very frustrating that people seemed to think that the vaccine was their magic bullet to staying safe. My friend's aunt was one of them and now she's paying the price for her lack of awareness.

Much love to you nicolep, frenchie, jediannie. Breakthrough infections are the worst because you've done your job, you've gotten your jabs, you've played your part but you didn't get the reward. I'm hoping for a positive outcome for your loved ones and acquaintances. Count me in for Skellinton's plan. I'll be taking up residence in Phantom Manor's ballroom. I'm over these social compromises that could cost me my or a loved one's life. It's either everyone (besides the medical exceptions) getting vaxxed or simply not beating this and just letting deadlier and deadlier variants pop up. There is no in-between, alas. You don't get to play 50 Shades of Maybe in a pandemic.

There is no in-between, alas. You don't get to play 50 Shades of Maybe in a pandemic. OMG this. I'm so angry with what's happening. It's heartbreaking how this was turned into a political issue. My work just came out and said we have to be there but they won't require masks. We have antivaxxers on staff, running around in no masks. Our staff includes people with young kids who can't get the vaccine, have elderly parents living with them ect. If you can't put on a mask to protect others around you, you are garbage. I have zero empathy left.

I have zero empathy left. The saddest part is the vilification of politics in general and anything related to it. Voting? Political act. Getting vaxxed for society's sake? Political act. In a non-dirty, non-partisan way. Participating as citizens of the polis should be seen as a positive, not necessarily tied to a partisan agenda. It's the instrumentalisation of politics that I deplore. It hurts my heart to see people shoo topics or acts away because it's "political". It's good to be a political actor of your community! We should embrace it and fight harder for our own part in democracy, beyond party lines (and crazy conspiracy talk). Good luck to you returning to work under these circumstances. It's borderline criminal. I feel for everyone left without a choice, especially with how extremely contagious Delta is. You can be N95 masked up all day and still get infected through the eyes with all the unmasked running around. Ridiculous.

I.AM.SO.OVER.IT. I spent 15+ straight months assigned to covid related work. Depressing. Exhausting. Finally get back to "normal" assignments and we are all waiting to get reassigned back to some of those tasks. I cant' stand the political posturing. The misinformation. The hysteria about masks and vaccines. and we are no where near done with this.

SC has a bunch of sneaks for September kits in their stories. I like what I see, in general, but it’s NOT a color scheme I’m reaching for in September. But I really really am liking the stamps and I really really wish I wasn’t.

I'm actually loving the colors and am glad I didn't cancel my documenter sub (I did cancel the TN and the stamp sub after I got my $14 kits). That I love you sticker is so perfect, since I can't walk my 1st grader to her classroom (no parents are allowed on campus) once she goes through the gate we do the I love you sign to each other. I'm still planning on cancelling after the 6th but I'm glad this is a good kit for me.

I like the sneaks of all of it, not enough to pay MTM, but the colors are lovely and I do like the school theme. That stamp set looks cute.

Hello all, I’m look for some help, I’m pondering re starting my kit up again, haven’t subbed for like 4 years as just stopped scrapbooking and I really want to get back into doing it. My query is if a) if anyone from the UK gets one and thinks it’s worth it? B) if yes/maybe how slow is shipping? It seems my only option for a “monthly kit” to the UK.

Do you not think its weird that SC and Ali are still shipping to Internationals? Did they figure out the whole tax thing or they are just putting their head in the sand? And if so, what's the implications for the end consumer - do you suddenly get hit with an additional bill?

Kinda sucks the life out of you when you can’t play at the same speed as everyone else 🙈 I am from the U.K. and you can expect to wait up to 5 weeks for a delivery from SC or any of the Inked brands such as Ali Edwards. I have a package from Ali Edwards that hasn’t arrived yet that was shipped three weeks ago.

The only thing that bothered me consistently was that every month, on the first, the new kit would be revealed but I still hadn’t received the previous months kit. That was annoying. But I only don’t subscribe right now because I find the kits inconsistent. I just sign up now when I want that months kit and then cancel my sub when it’s shipped.
