I saw that on one of our news websites this morning and immediately thought what a very striking and powerful cover....and a group of very brave ladies for agreeing to do that.

The art direction for this cover is really genius.
All of those women (wow indeed) and then that empty chair.

Wow. What brave women to agree to this cover. I hope they are all finding some peace having their story heard.
I am disgusted with Cosby and his continued denial and silence.

Very striking and powerful. Certainly gives one a clearer perspective on the number of women. It makes me almost speechless to see them all - plus the empty chair.

The story is very very well done. I encourage everyone to read it. There's a good overview of the whole case and timeline, as well as each individual woman's story. It's very powerful, well-done journalism that treats the victims with respect. Link(New York Magazine's site has had some issues this morning, so the link might not work right now.)

I'm seeing all those women and thinking of the many who didn't even step up to vocalize what happened. Maybe who aren't even sure if something happened. Sad state of affairs.

As I scrolled down the photo and saw who all those women were, it made me gasp. And the empty chair is such a solid reminder that it's probably not over yet. I hope anyone who hasn't come forward yet will see that photo and respond.

I wanted very much at first to think it was a misunderstanding or an incident where poor judgment abounded from all sides, but that doesn't happen with this much consistency, this many times. I'm so sad for all those women who were hurt and silenced and not believed. I hope they receive justice in whatever form they are able.
I am often a little sad for people who are pioneers or public figures and who fall so badly. I went through my boss's very public sex scandal many years ago and remember the hurt all around, including his pain, even though he had done things that were very wrong. He had hurt many people and he knew that, and the pain in his own heart was earned but was still awful to see. I wonder if Cosby is feeling that kind of pain now.

That is just crazy how he got away with it for so long! That's a lot of women. All power to them....very brave. I guess this is your equivalent of the Jimmy Savile atrocities that came to light here in the UK quite recently. No one could believe it of him initially until the numbers were just so overwhelming you couldn't doubt it any longer. I hope those women get some justice.

I had a hard time believing this when the story first broke a few years ago. Thought it was just someone, a hanger on, who was trying to get money from Mr. Cosby. A few minutes of fame.
Seeing this, makes me sad. Why would someone so smart and talented need to drug women, to rape them? What fun is sex when the woman is just lying there, drugged out of her mind? Something is seriously wrong with Bill Cosby. He needs to face these women and make amends. I don't care how long it takes, he needs to make this right (if it's possible).

I dunno - did you read his deposition from a few years ago (the one that was just made public recently)? He seemed to have no remorse and think there's no real difference between having a drink with someone before sex and drugging them.

Yes, and that is not all the women who came forward, and there are doubtlessly more who didn't come forward.
So, so disgusting.
