You are seriously too invested in this. Time to back away... I can't stop laughing! I guess it is true that if you in any way support someone in some threads it can come back on you. I was wondering why a few people started following me, I didn't even realize it was a feature on this board. I just rediscovered 2Peas and have enjoyed being here. So, to clarify, Dewryce is my middle name, and the same ID I used on 2 Peas. My parents were drinking and so combined their middle names Dewey and Joyce. My cousin was named Shasta that same evening because there was a can nearby. I live outside of San Antonio. I can only remember one comment I made about doing things with my mom and sister. I've only ever been to Canada, and one time at that so I am not sure where that is coming from. I have actually met some of the peas at one of Caitlyn's Crops many moons ago. April (KevinsAngel) was nice enough to let me stay with them. I also called Rachel (RachAg maybe?) about a local weather warning because she and her young son were home alone and she didn't have access to alerts at the time. I DO have bipolar disorder and had been interacting with Elannah on the Scrapbooking board. I recognized myself in a lot of her actions, and I hope that when she stepped away she was getting some help and able to find a good support system. On a lighter note...when I was a little girl, my daddy bought me a Shetland Pony for my 5th birthday. I named him Shasta, after that pop! It was a boneheaded move on the part of my dad, my parents were divorced and my mom could hardly afford to feed us kids let alone a HORSE. But, you know, hero daddy stuff... Anyway, my dad had to pay to board Shasta at the local fairgrounds and was supposed to pay for someone to clean his stall, feed him, etc. He dropped the ball on that. I only ever got to go see Shasta a few times. One day Shasta got loose from the fairgrounds and took off running. The police wrangled him up in the middle of downtown. Shasta got sold. Years later as an adult, I had a co-worker who I was telling about Shasta. She looked at me in horror and said, "That was a horrible thing. A bunch of us teenagers who had horses boarded there would watch over that horse and how badly he was neglected. One day we decided to just let him loose so someone would pay attention and he'd get proper care." My heart was broken when I heard that. My poor pony. In recent years my fractured relationship with my father has gotten a bit better, but I have never spoken with him about this and I'm still very upset. Well, there. Hopefully this sad saga will derail this thread enough to kill it. |

Oh HELL no. I have tolerated an awful lot on this subject, because in general the community figures out for itself what is acceptable and what is not, but this is too much. I certainly hope Elannah is alive and well, but as of now she is not here. Thank you to those who quoted the OP, so that I can state as clearly as possible that it is entirely untrue. And you credit me with an awful lot of influence if my one post on this topic "taints all new members in the minds of others" I must have some amazing Jedi mind tricks if I'm capable of doing that...I wish it worked on all the other threads.
Let's be real for a minute. I try not to call SanctiPeas out on their individual behavior because they get butthurt easily, but bitching out Admin just doesn't sit well with me. You know damn well that Admin isn't insinuating that you are lying about what you think. She's telling you that it's not true that she's back with a new alter and that you can think whatever you want, but it's a dick move of you (and others, but you happened to post) to go casting shade about new members with your suspicions. Bottom line is that this is Admin's playground and she's been extremely lenient about letting us post what we want. So if she tells you that you're crossing a line in her book, get the fuck over it or go make your own playground somewhere else. |

Well...it started out on a lighter note, to say that my pony was named Shasta. LOL I guess the rest of the story got away from me. I told the boys to call me Minx the entire road trip. The boys rolled their eyes and turned up their God-awful thumpy bumpy music in response. And, to change the subject further, back in the dark ages when I was kid, when you were out in the middle of no where driving, it used to be that you could only get goofy old country music stations to come in. This trip?? In the middle of no where?? The only thing that would come in on the radio was some kind of thumping and bumping music that I swear they said was someone name woobie fet.  |

For what it's worth, I think the portion of admin's response where she was responding to pjaye could be seen as a little murky, but I took it to mean that it was not true that Elannah was already back with other IDs. Not that she was trying to say that anyone's opinions were not true. The phrase "knew she would be back with a new ID pretty much straight away." could indicate that someone was stating that this had already happened. It may not have been the intent, but it does give that idea. So perhaps that bit could be seen as a little murky, too. Anyway, I am glad that we have cleared up that the poor souls who showed up recently are not Elannah, nor are others who merely dared to converse with her regularly. And I am glad to hear that people will be forced to state their feelings about other refupeas under their own bloody names instead of hiding behind fake ones. Thanks, admin! |

Just curious about some stuff... Admin, how do you know Elannah is not back? Because you can identify IP addresses and match them to users, or because she hasn't started a new account under her previous email account? Wondering how that works. Because, if you can identify/match users, would it be appropriate to ban the primary username of someone who creates an alter to be rude, which is now a banable offense? Would it be appropriate for you to 'out' an attacking alter? That might be fun in a train-wreck kind of way. Anyway, you don't have to answer of course, because as someone mentioned upthread, you run this shitshow (said with much love).
