Yay! What a relief for all of you (and all of us! ) I'm so happy for you! Boy, that turned out to be one expensive kitty that wasn't treated for any diseases or injury. Whew! I bet you'll sleep well tonight.

Great update. Glad she came out while you were there to seal the vents off.

Hooray!!! OMG, I had to come for a status update as soon as I woke. I'm thrilled for you. I'm sure poor Trixie is going to be extra freaked out for a while after all the commotion of the last few days. But she's out! Phew!

Thank goodness. I was so hoping her instinct to survive would trump her fright.

I'm so happy that she came out of hiding. Seriously, my first waking thought of the day today was wondering if she came back.

What a relief that she finally came out! Hopefully she calms down a bit and stops hiding. I'm dealing with a kitty doing a lot of hiding and nervous behaviour (new surroundings) and she's very slowly coming out of her hidey hole. Except when the vacuum comes out. Then she goes right back to being the scarediest of scaredy cats!

I have been following the Trixie story and am so happy you got her out and she is safe. Its nuts what these animals put us humans through!

I'm glad she appears no worse for the wear. You must be exhausted. This has been quite the ordeal for everyone. I'm glad she'll have access to food and water, but not the vents. Hopefully, she'll calm down and won't be quite as frightened. Lucky for Trixie that she has you and your perseverance.

Trixie doesn't know how good she has it! I've read through the whole thread and I have to admit, you are awesome to go to such lengths for your frightened kitty. I hope things settle down and that she will come to trust you more and more. Little Dobby is adorable, too, BTW! TFS!
