I hate wrapping presents!
For gifts that go under our tree (which is just the gifts for me, DH, and the kids), the paper must match the tree. So our paper always has to be gold. Each person gets a different embossed gold paper (I buy them at Hobby Lobby) so we don't have to label the gifts.
Presents that are going to people outside of this house do not ever go under our tree and I just use whatever we have on hand or I can buy cheap. I used to do bows, but DH's family complained about them, so I don't anymore.

I love the idea of having all my gifts beautifully wrapped with ribbons and bows, but usually the closest I get is buying three rolls of co-ordinating paper. As long as the paper is gold- rather than silver-based, I'm okay with it.

They complained about the bows?!? Scrouges!
I haven't bought anything new yet this year. Need to do an inventory first. I have a habit of stocking up after Christmas and then forgetting what I bought.

Last year I stamped all our wrapping paper (for Christmas and the kids' birthday, which is two days after). I've got pics on my blog. It did take a while!

I bought the four roll pack of Peanuts wrapping paper from Hallmark. It's really cute. Each of my kids has one specific paper and I use the other two rolls for people who will not be opening their gifts at my house.

Honestly, if I could get away with just tossing everything under the tree unwrapped, I'd do that. I hate wrapping presents. I have a stash of gift bags and boxes in all sizes that I use and re-use each year. I buy tie-on tags so I can label them in a way that is easily removable.

I haven't bought any yet. I usually get two coordinating styles so they look nice piled up under the tree. I don't usually do bows, because our presents either end up going out in the mail or piled into clothes baskets and hauled up to Ohio, so bows end up the worse for wear. I used to enjoy wrapping but I really don't anymore, it's so tedious. I might try to palm some of it off on my husband this year!

I've been using the same paper for years. I bought it at Costco and am beyond tired of it. Trying so hard to use it up but not doing a great job. I also have paper from a fundraiser but just a little bit and so far it has been too small for the things I have tried to wrap. I have two of the rolls from Costco and it us double sided but admit I am not thrilled with the other side either. There is a lot left and I am tempted to donate it to the mall wrappers. I just never make it to the mall they do it as a fundraiser.

I have multiple rolls. I do like the look of one or two or three coordinating papers, but I like the fun of having lots to choose from. I keep larger scraps i a bag to wrap small gifts, so little presents have even more wrapping options. My mom is like a wrapping paper collector, though. That woman has an insane amount of wrapping paper.

I'm wrapping books that our minister wrote, to be sold at church. Burgundy, green and gold plaid paper with burlap twine bows. Super easy way for bow making. Buy a yard of burlap and unravel it. Three threads cover the package, three for the bows. Have a lint roller and vaccum cleaner nearby. Unraveling is MESSY!
I love wrapping, but my old body doesn't. I use to wrap all the presents my mom bought for all eight children and fourteen grandchildren. I'd do anything to be able to wrap them for her, she spends Christmas in Heaven.

I love wrapping paper and have about 30-35 rolls of Christmas paper stored in a large tub that holds most of them. I wrap only one or two gifts from each paper. Right now I have about 20 gifts wrapped and waiting for the final Martha Stewart stage of thick Christmas ribbon (used again and again each year) and handmade tags. I worked as a Christmas wrapper at the mall one year and fell in love with wrapping and fru fru. My family of all boys/men has NO appreciation for my mad skills, but they pretend.

I wrap my own presents and my boys know that if they catch me wrapping I will wrap their presents for the family too. Starting in July I save boxes so that I have enough for Christmas. I start wrapping early so it is fun and not so much a chore.

I love foil wrap. I most wrap in embossed solids or stripes. I wrap the two presents I want each of my boys to unwrap at the same time in the same paper. That way I know what to give each kid when they are unwrapping and one kid doesn't unwrap new underwear and the other a DS.

I looooooooove wrapping presents. I bought the chevron paper (it does not have glitter, but it that glittery hologram style). I also bought some that is navy/teal/white with polar bears and trees but I can't seem to find it on Target's site. Plus I have a bunch of stuff from last year still. But wrapping is as important to me as what's inside the paper!

I buy a roll or two of snowflake paper on clearance every year for the next year's gifts. I don't know why. I never use up the previous year's. I've seen a couple I like this year.

I love buying wrapping stuff. It's the one thing about Christmas I can't seem to get control over. I've bought six new rolls of paper just this year already. I tend to go for bright colors and non-traditional designs. I love picking coordinating bows and ribbons too. Every year I purchase and wrap around 5-7 gifts so the ratio of wrapping paper in to wrapping paper out is not working in my favor.

I bought one roll of that Silent Night paper and a roll of the Peanuts paper with the blue background. I've always been a fan of Hallmark wrapping paper.
I have well over 40 unused rolls of Christmas wrapping paper waiting to be used. I know that seems like a ton of paper but I never know what we're going to be buying for gifts. I've had gifts large enough that it took a full roll of paper to wrap them. I like to buy them at after Christmas sales but will buy some before as well if something really moves me or some how goes with the theme of a gift.
I want to do fancy bows and accents but don't use many because they get crushed being stacked as well as bringing them to family parties.

I have an embarrassing amount of wrapping paper hidden in a tub under my bed. I always find myself buying one or six rolls of paper after Christmas because it is so cheap, but I never use more than one roll actually wrapping presents each year. Each year I swear I will not buy more on clearance yet each year I just cannot resist all the pretty patterns.
I try to use a different pattern for each of my immediate family and then 1 or 2 different (and least liked lol) patterns for everyone else. Santa gifts come in Santa patterned paper.
ETA I buy all my paper art Target and I always try to buy large rolls. So my stash will certainly outlast my lifetime lol.

yes - i used to do santa gifts in santa paper for my boys -slightly differnet so they did not have to be labelled and santa would leave a little note saying whose was whose! Now I like Ikea paper-simple red and white stripe or polkadot or plain colours- that way I can use it all year Or kraft with a strip of plain red or stirpe or polkadot as a band around the gift

Last year,I was sooooo sick of my giant 2 sided roll from Costco that I've used for a few years, along with recycled bows, but couldn't justify just getting rid of what was left. Then my co-worker single mom shared how she was going to go Christmas shopping for her 4 kids &how she hated to take what little $$ she had for presents to spend on wrapping paper. I asked her to stop by my house where I loaded her up. We were both happy & this year I have s new roll of paper with matching bows!

I buy wrapping paper on sale after Christmas. I get Santa paper for all oldest DS gifts and snowman paper for younger son's gifts. I then buy some kind of poinsettia or other non kid paper for my mom and friends, and whatever is left from last year everyone else's gifts.
I also like to buy those flat packs of assorted papers to mix it up and I give that to DH and sons to wrap their stuff in.
I sometimes tie small ornaments on gifts but I rarely use tags or bows. For my own family I write with a marker on the paper. Everything is piled up under the tree and looks great. Adult Kids don't get their gifts until Christmas morning - I 'hide' them until then because they love the idea of coming down to a big pile of gifts.

Former wrapping paper addict checking in. I didn't buy any last year and am doing all I can to hold back this year. The crazy thing is, I still barely made a dent in the bazillion rolls of paper I already have. I'm tempted to host an "It's A Wrap" party to trick my friends into coming over and using some of it up, thus freeing myself to shop clearance again after Christmas.

I love wrapping presents too, and need to find time to do it properly. I hate doing it when I'm rushed! On Black Friday I bought the Hallmark Olaf paper and the red/black reindeer. Excited to use both!

My gift wrap collection rivals my scrapbook paper collection -- well proportionally for yearly use potential. And ... I just bought more ... of both.
