Two thumbs up for Central Intelligence! It was like, last choice and we literally laughed all the way through it Surprise cameo at the end. At least to me! Hilarious out-takes before the credits rolled. I have to agree, we laughed the whole way through the movie, I loved the rock in the movie, surprised by his character and how he played him. The cameo in the end was great and I surprise.

I have never seen this thread till now.. so I read most of page 1 before figuring that out.. (slap my head)... but I have to say DD made us watch Deadpool.. that is an hour I will never get back in my life. I had to turn it off.. DH hated it too. Maybe because we are older? 45+ I love Ryan Reynolds though. I'll stick with The Proposal.. haha We watched the whole thing and I figured DH would like it but he didn't either. I didn't think it was bad just would have preferred a pg and non teenage boy mentality of it. That is what deadpool is known for though, in the comic books he is rude crude, and has a thin line between being a good guy and a bad guy. He is also known for breaking the fourth wall (the acknowledgment of the audience) all the time.

We saw The Conjuring last weekend (me, my dh, and my 16 year old dd) and we LOVED it. We are all horror fans and enjoyed both the other Conjouring movies (The Conjouring and Annabelle). We thought it felt very authentic. I think this franchise does a good job with that. The furniture, clothing, actors, just felt very real. The story was creepy. There were some genuine scares. I screamed out lout at least six times. I easily startle and scream in scary movies--my family gets a real kick out of it--but my dd rarely startles like that. We all thought that was very funny. Make sure you stay and watch the credits because you get to see the real people that the actors are portraying. It's funny to see such strongly mixed reactions to the Hi, My Name is Doris. I have really been wanting to see that movie and now I'm worried! I think my dd and I are going to watch Neighbors 2 this weekend at the dollar theater. I could have written this.....I just got back from seeing Conjuring 2 and we LOVED it. I really liked the first one and Annabelle but this one was even better!! It was REALLY good. I don't know who casts those movies but they do a great job! The child actors in both Conjuring movies are amazingly talented. I also what to see Hello My Name Is Doris....worried about the mixed reviews though

But then again constant p*enis jokes get old after a while. Hopefully the second one is better.

I just watched the strangest, sweetest movie called Pieces of April starring Katie Holmes and Patricia Clarkson. Had never heard of it but was channel surfing and it popped up. Anyone else ever see it? I think it's from the early 2000 era.

I rented 13 Hours-it took me two nights to watch it. It was intense and about half way through I had to turn it off and finished watching it last night.
I watch big action movies, lots of blood and guts and shooting and foul language and all that-so I know that isn't what made this so ... difficult to watch. I am really glad I didn't see it at the theater.
I am glad to have watched it though.

We saw Finding Dory last night and loved it!
Baby Dory was the sweetest saddest thing ever and I teared up more than once. 2 thumbs up from our family of teenagers and us!
I also loved the short cartoon Piper at the beginning. SO CUTE and well done!

I just saw Hello, My Name is Doris on dvd. I love Sally Fields and Tyne Daly and was looking forward to it. It was one if the worst movies that I have seen in a long time. I kept waiting for it to get better but it never did. It was just stupid and uncomfortable to watch. I totally agree with everything you said. It really was the WORST movie I have seen in awhile.

I looked around any everyone was watching so I looked at the screen and she was still doing it! I whispered to DH *DON'T LOOK*!!!!

I saw Love and Friendship last night. Agree with the PP who said it ended too rapidly, but otherwise, I enjoyed it. The dialogue is very witty and fast, and it's a bit on the cerebral side. Sometimes I feel like my "mom brain' has turned to mush, so this was good exercise!

We saw the new purge movie. Pretty much more of what the other two were. Lots of gore. It was all right but pretty predictable after seeing the other two.

We only saw the 2nd one, I don't think we knew there was a first one. But the entire time we're thinking *don't go THERE*, *Don't do THAT* *Are you crazy?*

We rented Krampus from RedBox. It was...interesting. Funny, scary, weird, odd ending. I don't regret we saw it, but not sure I'd highly recommend it either.

DH found a movie on Amazon Prime, called Barefoot, with Evan Rachel Wood. Sweet movie with some sad tones but surprisingly good.

This so very helpful!! Cousins are going to Independence Day tomorrow, but now DH and I are thinking we might do Central Intelligence! Or I might do Dory but I don't know if I could handle kids movie by myself! lol! Cause they'd do the others lol! My cousin my do Dory with me but I won't make them so maybe Dh and I will do Central Intelligence that does look funny. Although Independence Day could be just fun we'll leave our expectations at the door!

I watched Everest 3x this week. It is currently on HBO. What a good, albeit, sad movie. I love true stories. I find myself researching them like crazy as I read or watch. My friend lent me the book Into Thin Air (which is what the movie is based off of) so I am going to start reading that very soon.

Took my 3.5 year old twins to see their first movie, Finding Dory. It was a great movie. Myself, my 11 yr old and the twins all agree! Great pick for the first time in a theater!
