Hello Pokeys! Cindy, those pictures are great!! Looks like a lot of fun! I think the blog sounds like a good idea. It would be nice to see all of the layouts in 1 place and leave comments I had a long post typed out and I lost it so I left my comments on each of your layouts and pages instead! Yall have done some great work. Nylene, I hope your DH doesnt have to wait too long to have his surgery?? That has to be frustrating not be able to see well. I love your Superhero page by the way and in case you dont see the PB comment, are those sticker letters you used for the title? They are perfect! Tina, I hope your DD feels better now! When I had my wisdom teeth removed it got infected and it was horrible!

I made this page over the weekend for the daily challenge thread so some of you may have seen it already. The color challenge I picked was pink and yellow. My DH goes out of town tomorrow for a business trip so I plan to scrap a lot this week/weekend. I normally crank out 4-5 layouts when hes not here lol. The good thing is I get to scrap and sleep well... the bad part is I will miss him! Hope everyone is having a good evening!

Hi Everyone. I have decided to go ahead and open the blog as a team blog. It sounds like a lot of you are undecided, some would like to try it and some are not sure, so I will pull it together and those who chose to use it can. I will make it available if you chose to use it you will have to let me know. The only thing you will have to do is open a gmail account but you do not have to use it other then for signing in once in a while.
Pam you were one of the reasons I decided to go about doing this. On the 8th you stated how you missed the old gallery and how much easier it was to see the layouts and comment on them. By putting them over on the blog they would be where you can see them well, enlarge them if you chose and leave your comment there right under the layout.
Hope everyone is having a great evening!

Good morning everyone! I'm sad with Robin Williams passing. He was such a good actor. A big loss to the 7th art. Depression (drugs or not) is a big thing. Thanks Cindy for putting together the blog. Let's give it a try. BTW, I love your pictures at the farm! Sound you had a lot of fun. Nylene, I can imagine how upset your DH is about postponing the consult, even though is for the best I would be insane not to be able to see right even with just one eye!
Loococo, I'd seen your pointers pictures and LO and I have to say you did a great job. It's good to have time to yourself to scrap and relax but I understand you missing DH.
Father's Day here was very nice. We all went out with my BIL to have lunch. DH and his brother played golf early in the morning so they could come back to have lunch with the boys. As I have mentioned before I have three boys, and so my BIL too. I did not have a chance to scrap but hopefully next weekend.
Have a great day!

thank you Dani! Yes, so sad about Robin Williams. I normally dont get very upset about celebrity deaths but I teared up when I heard the news. He brought happiness to so many.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Corinne and Pam, your pages are wonderful. I left messages for you on your PB accounts. I love seeing all your work. I miss scrolling through the 2peas gallery every few days. I've started looking through Scrapbook.com galleries to get my "fix".
Nan and Buffy, I went to the Disboards and looked at layouts about Disneyland, but now I can't find that again. I know there was a place that I typed in A Bug's Life and a bunch of threads came up with layouts. I must be blind because I can't find it now. Can you give me directions to Disneyland layouts or a link? I'm looking for ideas.
We had Pack Meeting last night in a leader's backyard even though a cloudburst was expected. We ate, had the program and I was giving the last award when the rain hit. That was really close. Everyone helped put things away and it made a short meeting...which is always good.
Still no word from SLC Eye clinic. The local surgeon told DH he would probably hear by the end of the week, or next week. We are going to Idaho for my class reunion on Friday if that isn't the day they call and say come on up. He's trying very hard to be patient. I can tell his eyes hurt and are tired at the end of the day. I hope they can do something to help him.
I'm hoping to do some Disney scrapping later today. Waving "hi" to everyone!

Hi, Kelly. I'll run see your art as soon as I finish this post. I planned to get some Disney pages done, but found this cute photo of little Christopher right after birth and had to scrap it. It didn't scan very well because of the pop dots on the clusters, but you get the idea. He's such a little cutie...but growing up too fast.

I need them Kelly, leaving you some love on your blog and your paintings are fabulous! Did your MIL like the beautiful card you made her?? I was blown away by all of the details Pam, beautiful pages as always!

Corinne, I love that font too. It's not stickers or cut out, it's just a free font from DaFont.com. It's called FFF Tusj. I've used it several times lately and is so easy because it doesn't need to be cut out, just printed on the background paper. Thanks for your nice comments.
We went to the County Fair to help guard the 4-H building this morning. I was almost afraid to look at Ashley's scarf, but she got a first place on it. Everything else we took qualified for State Fair. Our county sends about 10% of projects to State, so the girls did really well. They are excited about the Fashion Revue on Sat. but I'll be in Idaho so I'll have to miss it. I hope they do well.
DH finally heard from the specialists but they can't see him until Sept 29!! He's so discouraged. He is on a cancellation list, but they didn't seem very hopeful that he could get in sooner. I guess you have to expect that from super specialists. We really want someone who can help protect the little vision he has.
I need to get laundry done and get us ready to leave for my class reunion. I can't believe it's been 50 years since I graduated. I hope we have a good turnout. It will be fun to see my brother and sister-in-law again in Idaho too. I'll be back after the weekend.

Hey ladies! My day is moving a little slow but got some fun things to get into today. Last night we did go to the park concert. We lucked up and got a good parking space which was so wonderful. They had a salsa band playing and they were great. I just love to hear that style of music because it makes me want to dance. So I did dance a little last night and it was fun.
I am so glad you all are enjoying my art display this week. Tomorrow I will be sharing more. I like how the faces all have their own personality and style. I love variety and I guess it shows.
Nylene- Still praying for you and your dh. I hope he can get in sooner. But glad you are going to your reunion. That should be sooo fun! My 30th will be next year. It is funny when I think about high school it does seem like a long time ago but not THAT LONG!!! LOL! Have a great time and I look forward to hearing all about it. ALso, I wanted to know about that cute font you were using and glad you told us about that site. I must check it out.
Corinne- Thanks for visiting my blog! And yes, my mil love the card!!! In fact, she told me she may take some of the cards I have made her over time to church and put some of them up for the ladies to see at an upcoming tea party. So sweet!

Hi girls! I had a full day today, have not stop since morning. I am looking forward to the weekend so I can do some scraping.
Nylene - What a wonderful page you made for Christopher! So cute!! Like Corinne I love this font too. I have to learn how to download them. I know downloading, but where specifically should I put the file... I can imagine how your husband is feeling. He must be very disappointed. But if he is a specialist its important to wait for him. But I will be praying for him to get an early appointment. Getting together with old friends is going to cheer you a little. Have fun and tell us all the details when you return.
Kelly- What a great summer you are having with all concerts in the park. This is definitely something I miss from summer in the US. I was sure your MIL would love the card. There was no other way!
Pam - Love your LOs. You are an amazing artist using digi. One day I might give it a try since I like playing at the computer.
Have a great night! See-ya soon.

Happy Saturday! I see we have slowed down here but I guess we have all been busy. I worked on more art this week. Now this weekend I hope to scrap a little. Now that my printer is working better I can print away! Tonight we are going to our local art gallery for the music festival. It is a small gallery but it is so cool that they host several events in addition to the art. I like that it is right up the street, too. Maybe one day I will be featured there!!! Dani- Yeah, there park concerts are so fun and just perfect for the whole family. I love seeing lots of grandmas and grandpas there along with kids and everyone in the middle. Folks even bring there fur babies too. This week is the last one and they will have a swing/big band group perform. My dh and I enjoyed it so much I thing we will do this every year now. Corinne- Oh, I forgot to mention that I like your new avatar picture. Very cute! Waving hi to you all and wish you a fun and peaceful day!!!

Hey girls! I hope you had a great Saturday! I woke up kind of too early for my taste, since I had to take the boys to school for Field Day. They both had to play Handball and there I went with my camera on. I took a bunch of pictures. I hope I can scrap them all before I get grandkids. Since I started not long ago and my oldest kid is 20yo, I do have tons of pages to make. But who's is counting, right? I will go on my pace and someday I will catch up. LOL here is the page I made today:
And you girls, what did you do today?

Hi Cindy, thanks for the compliment on my page. I meant I have so much to scrap I will never going to be up to date with my scrapping. I edited my earlier post because it was not really clear what I meant. Sometimes, I think faster and in my own language, and then when I write it ended up confusing. Let me know when the gallery is up so I will be more than happy to try it!

Good evening ladies... hope you are all smiling and having a good week-end. Not too much new for me,just the regular home stuff and throw in a little scrapping and I have been working on some cards this week. Kelly,so glad that you enjoy your concerts in the park. The nearby town to me has those in the summer at a central park that is a beautiful setting. You just go with your family or friends and sit on blankets or lawnchairs and enjoy a different group each time.So glad that you got to dance a little. Dani, your layout was so cute with all the circles and those really cute photos. Loved the color choices too. Well, not much else to say.... Soon Come Pam

Hello, Pokeys! It's nice to be back and see what's going on in your world. We have heard such glowing reports of the Dr. who is seeing Steve in Sept. that we are going to be patient. The local surgeon was surprised we didn't have a 3 month wait. He is a world renown surgeon. A friend at my class reunion said her DH was legally blind (able to see some, but LEGALLY blind) After they were married, he was referred to this Dr. and he now sees 20/30. We aren't expecting miracles, but feel that we are going to get the best help available. The class reunion was so much fun. The first ones there formed a reception line, and as people went through they joined at the end of the line. We had about 150 there. Some had changed a lot and some hardly at all. Our class pres. was a "hippie" from the 60's and still is. (hair long, in a pony tail with multiple elastics down the back. He's still the same old anti-establishment guy, but so funny. He was the Master of Ceremonies and had us all in stitches. We decided to stay another night, so spent some time in Oakley where I was born. It's a tiny farming town. Visited our parents' graves and then went to the local County Fair and wandered around for a while. We haven't had a rodeo connected with our County Fair in Utah for years, so we bought tickets and went to the rodeo. Reminded me of many years of attending the rodeo with Steve while we were dating in H.S. It was a great weekend away from responsibilities here. Our DGDs did very well at the Fashion Revue. They called us during the rodeo to tell us they each won a trophy for modeling their sewing projects. So it was a great weekend all around. Dani, your layout with the circles is wonderful. I pinned it! Left you some love on your PB account. Pam, I love your layouts. That last one looks just like some of the animals we saw on our trip. I love watching the livestock in the Oakley area. Left some love on PB. Cindy, well now you have my curiosity up? Can't tell us til Tuesday? ? Can't wait. Kelly, how I wish I could have been an observer as you danced the salsa! What a fun thing to do. We have something similar here, but there's a cost to get into it and parking is a nightmare. I hope you still have a few more nights to enjoy before the summer totally ends. Corinne, I love your new avatar. You make a cute couple. I hope you all have a great week. Our schools start here tomorrow, so Summer is over! I will miss having the grands around.

I just finished another Disney page. You are all going to be so sick of them. This is definitely non-traditional Disney colors, but most of my Disney pages are pretty non-traditional. This is Angie and Jon with their kids on the Spinning Teacups....a ride I can't tolerate...and can hardly stand to watch without getting sick!!

Happy Tuesday! I have been drawing and painting lots and enjoying it. I have so much now I think I will have to create another art video. That will be fun to create again. So I will keep you posted. I have some scrapping to do too. Oh, we did go tot the art gallery music fest. It is such a tiny place so when we got there everyone was standing around. So we hung out in there for a hot minute and then stepped outside where they had speakers. So we listened for a while and decided to go to Michael's! LOL! They will having more events so I look forward to checking out some of them.
Nylene- LOL! Nylene, I know you would of giggled to see me doing my little salsa dancing. Ron is so bashful about dancing so I had to move by myself. Well, I am glad this Dr is so great it might be worth the wait. I hope your dh can maintain well until then. Also, so happy you had a great time on your reunion! It must of been so nurturing to be back in your hometown. What great memories you must of felt.
Dani- How is the scrapping going?
Cindy- Are you enjoying these preseason games? I have seen a few but glad football season is here.
Waving hi to everyone and wishing you a nice rest of the day!
Pam- Yeah, park concerts are so fun. Now that we have been, I hope we can go every year. The last one is this week and big band/swing music will be featured.
Dani, Nylene and Pam- I just left you some praise for your beautiful work! You girls are really rockin'!

Hi girls! Now its Tuesday and I am already counting for the weekend. I was reading some posts about finding your own style, and I was wondering "whats my style?" I don't think I have one... I seen some videos of people using gesso, watercolor, layering, inks, stamps, and some much more... I didn't play with all those things yet although I plan to (at leaf try). I do have some stamps, stencils, I bought gesso, and I have the paints. But, you know, I always afraid it might not work, so I keep postponing on using them. I wish I was a bit more like Kelly, feel free to use paint and create. I promise I will try, and when I do I will post what I created....
Kelly - it sounds like you both had a lot of fun. You should do a LO about those concerts. I am sure I would love to see it. I will skip and will go to your blog to enjoy your art and creations.
Nylene - That a cute Disney page! I love the color choices too. I rode in the Spinning Tea cups only once and it was enough for a life time. Never again! I get so dizzy and sick! I felt relief when I read about the Dr background. It will worth the wait. I am glad you had a great time on your class reunion. Its so good to see so many people you have not seen in so long. I laugh when I read you describing the class president. I could picture it in my mind. And also congrats on your DGD did well on the Fashion Revue.
Pam - I like your clean style on your LO's. I love the touchdown pic!
Well, hope the weekend get here fast. I want to scrap!
Good night girls!

Good morning all! Hope all is well with everyone! I have been busy with kids and all. Ok Tuesday has come and gone. I got to participate in the Digital U over at Creative Passions. Two of us were pulled out of hat to scrap a page with a kit by Anna Aspnes along with her, Jana Morton and Amy Kingsford. They then discussed the differences in all five layouts and we were allowed to tell the story of our layouts and our favorites elements etc. It was fun hour. I was not able top post the layout until after the Digi U was over and I am still not able to until tomorrow. So tomorrow I will post the page I did. It will be going on the blog over there also.
Nylene- I will be so happy when Steve gets to see the specialist. I know you are the driver again and it has to be hard for both of you. Your reunion sounded like a great time!
Kelly-I am watching the preseason but not sure I like what I am seeing. I am a serious fan as you know. Johnny football really needs to grow up. If you are signed up to make millions of dollars you act like an adult and businessman not some college kid partying. I am not his biggest fan. There are no others who come out of college making millions other then athletes which I think is wrong to begin with as they do not know how to handle it. sorry I will get off my soapbox! The coach just named Brian Hoyer as the starting quarterback.
I have not had to time to work on the blog hopefully this weekend. well the kids hare here so need to go.

Cindy, congrats on the Digi U experience. I'm looking forward to seeing your layout. Link us to the site too, will you? I know you must be busy, so don't stress over the blog. Just do it as you have the time. Did your grands start school this week? Dani, I can't wait to see what you do with the gesso and inks. One of these days when you get brave, just GO FOR IT. I'm sure it will be like Kelly....once you start you cannot (and should not) stop. I think I have a scrapping style, but I keep trying to update it. Seems like it just stays the same with newer products! LOL! Kelly, get to work on that video. What a fun way to show us your art. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for Steve. I can tell that it's miserable for him, but he's the most patient person in the world at times. Because he is seeing the edge of the lens, every light shines off the edge and makes 3 upside down rainbows at the bottom of his vision. It must be so distracting. Bonnie, your layout is incredible. First the design based on the ad is wonderful and that spam can is amazing. Love the hibiscus positive and negative, and those great palm trees. I am always amazed at your designing with your die cuts. Did I mention I'd like to live next door and play with your dies? It's raining cats and dogs here today. DH stayed at work about 3 hours and then I picked him up. Too rainy to do anything outside. We are closely watching the gutters and so far the storm drains are taking all the water. We don't want a rerun of the flood from last year. In over 40 years living here we've never had a problem until last year, but now I'm paranoid. Waving hello to all of you Pokeys. Hope you all have a great day and week.

free font from DaFont.com. It's called FFF Tusj. County Fair DH finally heard from the specialists but they can't see him until Sept 29!! 50th class reunion Hmmm, may need to download the FFF Tusj font, I like it!
Congrats on Ashley's scarf taking 1st place, and for everything else qualifying for State Fair, how exciting.
Sorry your DH has to wait until Sept. 29th for a visit to the specialist. I have not heard any more on my mom's cornea transplant they did a revision to. Her eye is still sewn shut and she doesn't go back until Sept. 2nd. She was just glad to have a break from having appointments.
Will keep reading to find out how your reunion went!
How weird this posted the quoted material this way. I did delete most of it and saved the highlights, so you would know what I was referring to.

Lovely painting and the ladies are so pretty. Too fun to repurpose the empty TP rolls as stamps! Who would have thought?
