This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . There are no prizes for this challenge, just a chance to enjoy the works of other Pokey Peas Refugees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sorry, I didn't get back to the computer last night. So this is a little late. I think Spring may have finally come here. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful, warm day. grammadee, I will give you a run-down on our Cousin Camp later today or tomorrow. I have a huge list of cleaning chores that I hope to get done today. Work before play(scrap). Who came up with that concept?! Be back soon.

I have a huge list of cleaning chores that I hope to get done today. Work before play(scrap). Who came up with that concept?! Whoever it was should be slapped! I didn't get my chores finished yesterday so I still have more to do today. Tomorrow I'll be out -taking puppy to get fixed and since it's a drive to town, I thought I'd actually hit Ms & Js and probably the library while waiting, so at least that could be fun. The furniture for the kids room will be delivered tomorrow too. So this weekend will be cleaning everything that's been in storage. Hope I can work a layout or two in there as well.

Thanks, nylene , for getting this going again! I see Chinagirl828 has been busy as well to set up the month for us. I arrived home from Calgary early evening on Monday. Then on Tuesday, dd & the little guy joined us for lunch here at the farm before driving to the circus a little over an hour away in the opposite direction. The little guy was really good: slept in the vehicle both directions, and then when we got home, his mama put him right into his bed here without a peep. Sat through a 2 hour performance, then through supper at a super busy restaurant that had not taken on extra staff to handle the post circus crowd. The circus was not at all what I was expecting. The only animals were 4 horses they used for trick riding right at the end. Good aerial acts, some mediocre clowns, and some okay acrobatics. And of course cheesy souveneirs. They had photo ops with a huge "transformer" mascot. The little guy wanted to get near him, but was pretty nervous. In the end, he got up the courage to take the "robot"s hand, and I got a photo on my own camera. They are headed back home now. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. I am really tired and my head is stuffed up. Not sure if it is spring allergies or if I brought home some virulent bug. (Spent most of the weekend wiping noses...) We FINALLY got some rain, so it is too wet to get into the garden. So that is one job I don't have to tackle today. Dh wants rhubarb crisp, so will prob go on a rhubarb hunt in awhile, and then work on that. Otherwise, I think I will be lying low for the day. Have a wonderful Wednesday, Ladies. And happy June!

Happy June! I hope Summer is starting off nice in your area. Thanks again for all the birthday wishes. I did enjoy and now back to normal. LOL! Not much to say today but just wanted to wave hello to you all.
Nylene- I say play then work! LOL! Hope whatever order you prefer I hope you enjoyed. Thanks for our new thread too.
Lisa- New furniture is a good thing! Sounds like things are coming along.
Grammadee- I know your garden loved that rain. That should help make all your veggies and flowers happy.

Here is a journal page I did for last Thursday's LOAD prompt. It doesn't count for anything over there, as the deal was that we were supposed to post one page per day, on the day of the prompt. I was on my way to Calgary last Thursday morning and didn't have time to complete this one, or any of the others since, but decided I would finish up my journal anyway. My thinking isn't very clear today, but doing a journal page was a relaxing way to get back into gear. www.flickr.com/photos/140011682@N07/27403406005/in/pool-load516/Hope the link works.

LisaDV, I'll bet your kids are so excited about having new furniture in their new rooms. Your home renovation is coming right along. We need photos once you get them all moved into their rooms. kellyr21, did you eat enough during your birthday week that you have to do some jogging now? LOL! I'm glad you had a wonderful week. I like the idea of stretching out your birthday for a week. Mother's Day and my b-day pretty much get celebrated together each year. I began cleaning up my scraproom today and came across some cute photos of Alex that I had set aside....you can guess the rest. I sat and scrapped them all instead of cleaning. So now I need to clean up the scrap mess and then do that deep cleaning I had planned to do in here! I can tell my self-restraint is diminishing in my old age! maribeth, we are missing you. I hope everything is well with you. When is your next weekend away? Sweet Cindy, scrapincin, how are you doing? Are the shingles gone and have you adjusted to the new glasses? Do you have plans of how to keep the grands busy this summer? I talked to Angie today. They didn't get the home they put the offer on. But they are still looking. They are still planning to come at the end of next week. I had planned on Cousin Camp that week with 7 of the kids, but Tori's girls will be at Girls' Camp with her. So it looks like Cousin Camp will just be with 5. Sammie always makes up an agenda for each of us. Like her mom was, she is a "list maker". grammadee, we usually just do a day and a night and a day. We have some traditions like a Tea Party and everyone has to dress up with a hat. So they dig thru the dress-ups and come up with some doosies. Even the 15 year old said we can't eliminate that, it's tradition! We always have HOBO dinners (tinfoil) and they all love that and never want to change to something else. We play games, and I have adult coloring books for this year. The younger ones love playing Library and Restaurant while the older ones take a few minutes on their phones/ipods/or whatever screens they bring. We have "no screen" time most of the time, but when Grandma is worn out, it's "screen time". LOL. Sometimes one of the older girls will want to do some sewing. We don't have time to finish anything, but we get started and finish later. At night they all spread out on floors and couches and watch a movie to go to sleep. We do water balloon tosses if it's warm enough and DH built a water feature like a car wash that they can run through. Our activities change a bit from time to time, but we do have a few traditions we do every time. We try to do one Camp over the Christmas holidays and a couple during the summer, one while the Calif. kids are here. Hope that explains it a little better. Well, I'd better quit this novel! I'll scan my pages and post them later this week. Have a great week everyone.

Wow I was just getting ready to post and went over to comment on grammadee's awesome page came back and you had posted Nylene! My shingles have been gone and my glasses seem to help as far as the reading goes. The floater is still there but has changed a little in appearance. It seems to move a little on its own but comes right back! I see the ophthalmologist Friday again. I am trying to use the eye drops for the dry eye but they do not seem to help much. The one kind really bothered my eyes and the other does not seem to help much. I guess I will keep trying different brands. I was supposed to have the kids three days a week as Maggie watches them Monday and Friday-at least as a trial. Unfortunately their Dad lost his job and so he is with them until he finds another one. Today I was trying to go thru some things purging and donating clothes etc. I also w3atched the new video by Jennifer McQuire on mirror imaging your stamps on a card using a Misti but she also linked a previous vaccine using tools prior to the Misti being on the scene. It was good and the cards she made are so cute.
Sorry the Cousin Camp is going to be shy a few cousins but the other 5 will have a great time-especially since Sammie has her lists ready. Sorry to hear about their house-hopefully there is a real bargain out there waiting for them.
Kelly I can not believe the Cavs are playing the Warriors again! I am sure this is going to be a great series of basketball games to watch. The Cleveland Monsters are playing in the hockey finals tonight too. Becky, Jeremy and the kids love going to see them play. Glad you had a fun birthday.
Lisa and grammadee you guys wear me out just listening to all the things you do! I can't keep up with you. But I guess that is better then just sitting around! Ok Phone is ringing so will close for now.

Happy Thursday all! It is a nice sunny day and I hope you all are doing well. I have guitar class tonight and gotta get ready. Here is a card I recently made. I just love how feminine it is. Pink Ribbon Card by Kelly Roberts, on Flickr Nylene- Oh you are right! Although, I am on the slim side I know the walking I am doing today will help keep it that way LOL! I hope your dd and family can find the right home for them. I know something will work out. Your cousin's camp is just terrific! I love that you do this for your dgks and creating such lifelong memories. Have fun getting ready. Plus, I missed officially saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA! I thought you were a May gal like me but wasn't sure. I hope to remember next year so I can give you a great birthday wish. Cindy- You know I can understand a job loss and hope your sil will find a great job next. Sounds like you are getting better and I hope your eye continues to improve. Yes, your Cavs are in the finals again. I am sort rooting for both teams but it would be great if Lebron won it for the "land" this year. So we will be watching.

Thanks for the love in the Gallery, kellyr21 , and your card is beautiful! Hope your guitar class went well. Your cousin camp sounds like a lot of fun, nylene ! I love when the cousins get together! This summer my dil from Abbotsford is bringing the girls to Alberta, so they will get to spend a few days at the farm and a few days with cousins in Calgary. I am really looking forward to it. Hope the Opthamologist can solve your eye problem, scrapincin . And that your sil will find a job soon. I had a fragmented but fairly productive day today. In between various phone calls, I managed to finish 4 journal pages. They are late for LOAD, but I want to complete my journal. Four more pages to go. I posted to the 2peas Gallery, but am still having trouble linking from there to a message. Also got some laundry done. Then after supper we went out and set in most of my bedding plants. I also put some pumpkin seeds into the ground. Hoping to get cucumbers and beans seeded by Saturday. Usually do it by the first of June, but it was cold and then it was wet. Looks like warm weather over the next few days and lots of moisture in the soil, so things should really grow now. I see the weeds have already started on that. Will have to get after them too, but that may have to wait until next week.

Cindy, I'm so glad your shingles are completely gone. Now if that old floater would just float out of your line of vision! DH has dry eyes too, and he gave up on medicated drops. He does use a distilled water drop suggested by his Dr. and it helps some. Most days he feels like he has sand in his eyes. I hope you can find a cure for yours. I'm sorry to hear about J's job loss. That's always a scary time. I'm praying for him to find a new one that will be best for his family. I am going to go check out Jennifer M.'s new video. I am getting better at stamping. Practice helps! LOL! Kelly, that card is so "you"! I love the colors and the femininity of it. Simply gorgeous and elegant. You are a card master! Thanks for the Birthday wishes. When you get to this age, you'd prefer not to have birthdays! grammadee, I don't know how you and LisaDV get so much done in one day. It makes me tired to think of it! I wish I had a farm for the grandchildren to visit. That's every child's dream to spend summers "with grandma at the farm". I'm sure you will love having the Abbotsford girls visiting this summer. A farm would be more fun than Cousin Camp because there is so much to do and learn. My DD called to see if I could cut her 600 2" flowers for a Girls Camp project. So that's what I did after my Dentist appt today. Because I had to keep switching out cutting mats for the Cricut, I spent the whole time cleaning my scraproom and doing some much needed organizing. Now if I can just keep it clean...but I know I'll get the bug to scrap and it will be messed up again. LOL! Have a great weekend, everyone. I may not get back here for a few days. Lots going on this weekend.

Here are a couple of pages I didn't post last month. I don't know how to post just a link, so I have to post the photos. Someday I'll learn my way around this site. Baptism Day by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Baptism Day -right side by Nylene Budge, on Flickr I have a few others I'll post later. grammadee, I hope I caught all your LOAD posts. I love reading them and left you some love. Kelly, left you some love on your card too. Be back later.

Thanks for the love in the Gallery, nylene . I am really glad that project is finished. On the one hand I enjoyed just playing with papers and elements to get an idea across, not necessarily tell a story or support a photo, but part if it felt like overdue homework. Dh & I went to town for pizza for supper, then finished putting the last bedding plants and seeds into the garden. So I guess that is TWO projects finished today. Weeding is a new project and that has to begin next week. This afternoon, I did a little sorting through the rubble in my scraproom, cleared space on both my work counters, sorted some of my papers. So maybe I will actually put a real page together tomorrow. Still have some pieces of that delightful BoBunny sun rays sheet I used part of for one of my LOAD pages. Hoping to do something with that. Happy weekend, everyone!

scrapincin, Yay you! That's a big blue gill. nylene, sorry that cousin camp will be down 2 cousins. Glad you had some time to clean your craft space. Mine needs it. It has become the catch all over the last few days. I did find my border punches and my old (only use on paper now) sewing machine peddle that I haven't had since we moved here. It was in with my dd's Barbie boat??? I actually thought today I'd do some digital scrapbooking just so I can avoid the cleaning of it. ha. kellyr21, that's such a pretty card, I left you love the other day. grammadee, I've left love on most of your pages in the gallery. Will go see your newest after this. The pup's vet trip was super quick. I had a whole day outing planned and was looking forward to it! I was on my way home with him by 11:30. A bit bummed, but I was like Don's taking the kids with him tomorrow for his oil change and then they're doing a picnic and fishing. Then, neither kid wanted to go. Boo Hiss! So it was just normal chores. I did grind my own flour and make some non-allergy friendly cookies which I hadn't done in forever, and hubs came home with a new tiller. Yesterday, we started pulling out boxes, sorting and cleaning. DD and I started putting things away in her room. I asked ds, no, he'd do it later. So her room is starting to take shape, but his... He ended up going up and into his closet where he stayed. He had put his comic books in there and just sat in there reading them for hours. I wish I had taken a photo. Bad Momma! I ended up re-hurting my shoulder. I don't even know how. But I had to stop lifting and carrying. In 2012 I had to do PT to be able to use it again, so I'm going to give it the day to rest and then start back with the exercises to get it back in shape. But it's my right side and I'm right handed. arg!

Thanks for the love, LisaDV . Look after that shoulder. I am at the age where EVERYTHING hurts most of the time, but when a shoulder or a knee starts to complain, I have learned to back off completely for a few days. Usually that will do the trick. If I try to "push through" I will end up with chronic pain for months. Too bad about your planned alone time. Hate when that happens! My dd was just telling me the other day about how she used to spend time in her closet when she was a kid. Guess it was a nice quiet place she could use to calm down. So you are not so bad a mama as I was: I didn't even KNOW that is where she was spending her time! Quiet morning here at the farm. Dh has a cold so is sleeping in. I added a few photos to my LOAD journal using PL page protectors. Also made a list of some reprints I want to make for pages in my summer album. Later I have to pack up to go spend a couple of days with dd's little guy while she goes to a training course. So I am soaking up the peace and quiet here for awhile...

Just dashing by to say that Sammie called me tonight to tell me that they will be leaving for Utah in 3 days and 11 hours. Do you think she's anxious? Can't wait to get her here. LisaDV, please be careful with your shoulder. DH has had both rotator cuffs done and he thought the pain was worse than his knee replacement! Take it easy, my dear. Cindy, congrats on the big fish. How fun for you. Did the kids go with you? How's the job hunting going? grammadee, I hope you have a great time with your grandson. It sounds like your farm is pretty up and running and ready for summer! I plan to spend all week working on getting this house in order for company. Everyone will be coming for dinner on Sunday. That will be 24 of us plus DGD's boyfriend that we are all anxious to meet, and maybe DGS's girlfriend. Cousin camp is next Tuesday and I will be tending one 9 year old DGS while his mom's at Girls Camp all week. So you may not see me around much for the next couple of weeks. Unless I need to lock myself in my scraproom to restore some sanity. Maybe I will try the closet instead, grammadee and LisaDV! Have a great week, everyone.

grammadee & nylene, I think my son came by playing in the closet honestly. We had 3 girls in one bedroom and a walk in closet. So I used that as my play room or behind the vanity which for some reason was angled in a corner so I could get behind it. Hope you both enjoy the grands! I worked on digi layouts of Christmas yesterday, so some craftiness being accomplished.

I have posted a couple of simple pages. MJHS Spring Concert by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Our Little Artist by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Today my DD's power was off from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm so she and the kids came here to keep cool and have access to internet/movies/etc. So all the cleaning I had planned got put off until tomorrow. I got to play with the kids all day and that beats cleaning bathrooms all day. Nothing better than that! Be back later in the week. (after I've done a little much needed cleaning!)

Pages look good nylene Will look at them in the gallery tomorrow. Spending time with kids and grandkids beats housework any day! Dgs is blessedly down for the night. Dd is on her way home, about an hour away. I am vegging until she gets here. Will sleep here tonight, then head home in the morning. It has been a busy couple of days. Not sure if I can put a whole adult sentence together, but for the most part we had fun.

Good morning Pokeys! Hope everyone has a great day! Not sure what I am going to do this morning laundry or yard work. The sun is shining and it will be a beautiful day. Had to take DH to urgent care center yesterday as he had an allergic reaction to poison ivy on his face and round his left eye. His face is swollen and we worried about it getting into his eye. Fortunately it had not. They put him on steroids for several days He doesn't feel bad just looks bad. He was working at the IW League helping clear brush añd cutting down trees Sunday and thought he saw some. grammadee- sounds like the little guy kept you busy! I am sure you enjoyed the special time with him yet it will be nice to get back home. nylene- how is Steve liking his work shop? How many hours a day does he spend in there? I agree I would rather spend time playing with the grands then cleaning myself! Love your pages! Left you some love in the gallery! LisaDV- wow hope your shoulder feels better soon as you are too busy to be dealing with that. Sounds like everyone is busy at your house. Do the kids have their rooms together yet. Are they loving their new rooms? Well need to get moving bbl

nylene, love the pages. But DD came to keep cool? Is your air on? I actually started a fire in the fireplace yesterday. Last night I turned on the heat when we went to bed as it was suppose to get to 40. But by Friday it will be 90 here. Crazy, crazy weather. Glad you got time with the grandkids and that totally beats cleaning bathrooms, which I need to do as well. scrapincin, Oh, no, I hope your DH's poison ivy clears quickly with the drugs. That would be scary to be so close to the eyes. Also, thanks for the shoulder well wishes. The kids have disappeared into their rooms daily, happy to have their own spaces. Yesterday and today is Don's work away from home days and yesterday they stayed downstairs with me all day. So, of course, I'm going to tease my husband that they really just need to get away from him. He's going to love that. ha. grammadee, glad you had a good time with dgs. I'm sure you'll be happy to get home today. Since I'm still babying my shoulder, we did nothing yesterday. NOTHING! I kind of cleaned my craft desk, you know, enough to start work on a layout. One load of laundry and made the minimal amount of food. DD & DS emptied the dw once each and DS would brought in wood twice (just a few pieces) enough to take the chill out of the air but not heat up the house. DS also did one math sheet after we discussed the lesson. He originally did the lesson without me and was making a silly mistake with Pythagorean Theorem. Now it's all better. The joys of homeschooling. Hoping to get a bit more accomplished today. Hope everyone is enjoying their week.

Good afternoon all! From a crafting point of view I have had fun. Saturday, I went to M's to their open house for the upcoming classes and saw that nice lady who teaches the papercrafting classes. She had lots of samples of the projects planned for the upcoming months and I was excited to see them. Also, I am planning on taking a cupcake decoration class later this month. So I might become a regular at M's. LOL! Then, Monday I did go to the class to make a succulent plant paper art. Boy, it was a lot of fussy cutting and we didn't have time to finish but I still had fun. I will post pictures when I finish it. Yesterday, I went to Hobby Lobby. OMG, this was only my second time going and I had a good time. I loved that they had different stuff from M's like lots of home décor and more name brands in the papercrafting section. They had 50% on lots of the products so that made me smile too. I can't wait to go back and see more of the sections I didn't get to explore. That place is massive!!!! Nylene- Your cousin's camp is gonna be fun. I know you will get everything in place for their visit. If I was your dgd, I would be all excited and calling you too! LOL! Your pages are so darling! I love your sweet style. Cindy- Oh, so happy your dh is ok. That sounds like it was a little scary! Glad you are feeling better too. AND what a fish you caught!!!! That is so awesome. He looks like he was heavy. Did they have to help you reel that baby in? I haven't been fishing in ages. How fun! Lisa- Hope your shoulder feels better. Take it slow, girl! Is it warming up there yet? Grammadee- How is your garden coming along? Waving hello to Maribeth and you other ladies! Have a nice evening!

Hi, my Pokey friends. I have been working on this dirty house all day and I NEED A BREAK! So I am resting in my scraproom in front of the computer. Decided to chat for a minute. Cindy, DH is loving his Wood Shop. I can't believe all that he has accomplished. He has built a big table on wheels as a work area and as an extension of his table saw for big boards. He has boards up with his hand tools hanging above his work bench and is working on a big shelf organizer. He comes home from work, eats lunch and rests for about an hour and then stays in the Shop until dinner is ready. After dinner he rests a little while and goes back out until about 8. LOL! I know he won't spend that much time out there once he gets things set up the way he wants. I am so happy that he loves it. How is Bob's Poison Ivy? I'm glad it hasn't affected his eye. I hope the swelling has gone down and that he isn't itchy. Lisa, we have had hot weather all this week. I have had to turn the air on for DH. I'm always cold, so I don't care about it, but he works all morning outside in the hot sun and needs to cool off when he gets home. My DD keeps her home much cooler than I so to be without AC all day would have been hard. But mainly they needed something to keep Alex busy! I'm sorry it is still cold at your home. I'm glad your children are enjoying their rooms. How is the shoulder today? You are in my prayers. Take it easy so it can heal. I can understand your DS having problems with the Pythagorean Theorem....my brain is so old that those things have slipped right out! Sounds like your homeschooling is very effective. grammadee, I'm glad you had a good time with your DGS. It's always soooo quiet when they leave, right? Hope you are getting some scrappy time along with gardening. Kelly, I'm glad you had a good time at Michaels. They will know you by name if you keep taking classes. I think that's great. I agree that Hobby Lobby is just wonderful. It's too big when I just need to dash in and get something. But when I have time, I love just wandering around. I bought a lot of Cub Scout supplies there and always had to check out the Scrapping aisles too. I just watch for the sales on things I need. Everything seems to rotate being on sale. Has anyone heard from Maribeth? I am getting worried about her. I sent her a message, but haven't heard back. I hope nothing is wrong and that she is just scrafting and RVing. Well, I've rested, so it's back to cleaning. I have a bathroom to clean tonight and I'll do all my floors tomorrow and then I think I am through and the house will be presentable. Angie and family will arrive late tomorrow night. I am so anxious to see them.

grammadee , I'm glad you had a good time with your DGS. It's always soooo quiet when they leave, right? Hope you are getting some scrappy time along with gardening. The little guy kept me entertained and engaged and on my feet. Have no idea why they call it baby SITTING!!! Yesterday I spent most of the day just resting. I picked up a bit of a stomach bug from the little guy, but both of us are fine now. This house is very quiet, and I slept until after 8 this morning. The garden gods must think I need a rest, because we got almost an inch of rain last night, so I couldn't do any hand weeding out there today. Decided to scrap instead. I uploaded a couple of pages to the Gallery. Also did their facing pages, but didn't upload. Hope everyone is having a good day. I know the cleaning is hard work, nylene , but I also know how excited you are to have everyone there. Glad your dh is enjoying his own crafty space. I will try to message Maribeth through Get it Scrapped. I think that board alerts the recipient with an email when there is a message. Still can't link the Gallery photos to here, but I CAN add them as attachments directly from my computer. Here are my pages: Attachments:

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a nice day. just passing by to wave hello. I still have to finish my little project from M's. It is just so much more gluing not quite in the mood to finish it yet. Maybe this weekend. Cindy- What did y'all do with that fish? Fish fry? Nylene- I know you got all your housework done and ready for your guests. Have a super duper time! What crafts will you all be doing? Yes, I love just wandering around in those big stores too. It is too much to look at on one visit. So look forward to going again. Hope the sales continue. Grammadee- Your little guy sounds like he bring your such joy. How many grands do you have?

Grammadee- Your little guy sounds like he bring your such joy. How many grands do you have? Kelly, We have 11 grandkids. The oldest will be 17 in September. The youngest will be one in August. Three families (8 of the dgk's) live in Alberta, but most are a 5 1/2 hour drive away. The other 3 live in BC. Really looking forward to having them here in July. Need to start getting organized for that, soon. Went to town to pay bills this morning and had lunch at the Seniors' Centre. Picked up my parcel from Paper Wishes at the post office. Really wanted to play with the goodies, but not a lot of time. I did check out the colours of Nuvo drops, both the Gloss and the pearly ones. And I think I will be giving the Steampunk collection a workout with Fathers' Day cards this weekend. Funny we were discussing somewhere on the board about all the extra ribbon we have, and I had forgotten that PW includes a selection of ribbon in each of their collections. So now I have even more ribbon... Will have to see if I can use some on those cards. Did a bit of housework this afternoon. Tomorrow I hope to get out into the garden early to get at those WEEDS.

Happy Sunday! Hubs is taking DS to church this morning and I'm staying with DD. My shoulder was doing better, and I was still being careful but starting to get things done. Then, I re-hurt it just scooping kitty litter. I was so mad!! I was already behind on what I wanted to get done and now again! But it's feeling better again and I'm carefully trying to get more things done. But being careful is REALLY difficult. kellyr21, I love HL. They have one close to the hotel in Grand Rapids where hubs stays for work. We're going with him in 2 weeks, so I'll be doing a little shopping there myself. I could spend all day there, but the kids won't let me. I think it's wonderful that you are taking so many classes. How is guitar coming? nylene, so glad your DH is enjoying his wood shop. Enjoy your family dinner today! and Cousin Camp this week. grammadee, glad you are getting some crafty time and some rest. We're on the warm up. Yesterday was even a bit humid. The boys ran errands and picked up a new pool since ours got a leak last year. (the discount store kind, not the fancy pool store kind). We want to build an inground but that is long term wishful thinking - not immediate need. House, animals, barn, tractor, and more animals is sort of the order of business with smaller things thrown in. "I'm so glad we started this project in our 40s and not in our 30s when we had more energy," she remarked, dripping with sarcasm.... After church we'll be putting the pool up. Our last pool was only 12 - 15' and he bought a 20' which means more ground will need to be broken and smoothed and much of that will fall on the boys due to my shoulder. Luckily today will be cooler so a good day to work outside. Ok, I've written a book. I'll be off to do something productive before the boys come back home. maribeth, hope all is well and that you are just enjoying your summer.
