I come back here a couple days ago to "refresh" this thread and AmeliaBloomer and refugeepea refuse to play with my black barbies. I tried to get the conversation back on track and asked what you specifically felt about this case...hell its only 4 pages or so..you can see what went down. Just admit no one wants to discuss this case or what's happening in America. Even liberals. Allyship and silence do not go hand in hand ladies. I get that you all hate me but take Olan out of this equation.

Have you seen the videos of the Civil Rights March where the protestors are hosed? The image of the woman being dragged by two black men. Her face is bloody. The number of people who lined up to yell at Rudy Bridges when all she wanted was a damn education where did they go. Who did they raise. What professions did they fall into. Law enforcement perhaps?! I've always wondered with technology could we identify the people in those still photos or if anyone recognizes their mother. I am hoping the Smithsonian museum that recently opened will tackle this. The number of people allowed to just fall back into society.

Have you seen the man who killed Jordan Edwards? Did you hear the story of the woman who was being charged with killing her service animal? Why can you not separate the race relations issue from this and realize the justice system needs an entire overhaul! It makes me wonder why people are defending such a thing? Is it because it's only affecting people who don't look like you?

This is bull. Gina and I rarely see eye to eye and don't particularly care for each other but I certainly know her well enough to know that she would not in anyway try to dehumanize you.

The point is that you don't share anything with yourself yet you come here after several month in order to lash out at white people about an incident that took place this week.

She was questioning your motivation for coming here now and for the sole purpose of appearing to berate people or demand they behave or think the way you feel they should.

I came here to berate people into not being racist assholes? Did it work? Will it ever work. Absolutely not.

I never pull out the I have white friends argument but seriously no one views me the way this pea does. I don't hate white people. I find it more challenging than say 2 years ago to see the good but I stretch myself everyday to see that despite what's happening right now or what's happened in the past people who DON'T look like me are just as invested in a world where a black kid can go to a party with alcohol and get yelled at by his parents as I am. I can't begin to tell you how hard this is and the amount of counseling black people are undergoing to simply have joy. I grew up in a really odd place for race relations. I can't tell you the number of times I encountered some crotchety old white person. She won't admit being from NW Indianan but she is. Did I share the time I got punched in the face as I came to the aid of a white woman seizing in her lawn. I was wet (she was watering her lawn) bloody and had he had a gun in his garage I could have been dead. The police arrived and asked me my date of birth and name. Racist husband got an attaboy. My black friends all have stories like these...that one is my go to for laughs. I have others I don't share because it reminds me I tolerated abuse. You've dismissed me as angry dismissive and accusatory because then you don't have to think about what adjectives go behind your name. I see you.

I never put anyone on ignore or made a promise to. I've never been able to figure it out. Like I told Gina quote me. Our interactions are limited and recent should be an easy one. I am going to break to get some work done.

I quoted the pea I was referencing. Why would you think I was addressing you. Gina I don't care if you have white or black friends. I don't care if you are a good human being.
