I saw the post someone talking about their 40 gazillion stamps. How many you think you have? Can you even count them? I know that I have.... 100 DVD cases with stamps Over 200 CD cases with stamps And several hundred wood mounted stamps
The total… I don't even want to know!

I could probably count mine, but won't. I have too many. I've toyed with unmounting my wooden ones, but really just don't want to start. I rarely use the wooden mounted ones anymore and should probably sell them.
The only ones I have in cases are the newer Stampin Up unmounted stamps. I do love those. I have quite a few unmounted ones in page protectors. Those are the ones I go to first.

All of my stamps are catalogued so it would be easy for me to count them up. But I am not going to do that. Nope no way. If I don't need to know then nobody else does either.

I'm working on entering mine into Evernote now - it's a slow process.
I easily have upwards of 300 CTMH acrylic stamp sets, plus more wood stamps, and a handful of other brand stamps as well.
Ridiculous.

My retirement fund in stamps. I have lots. Stamps make me happy. Especially photopolymer ones. Acrylic ones are fine too. Love them all!

I've been putting mine in Evernote too! It's a pain, but I hope it will make stamping more fun!

I have exactly 50 sets. Not too bad. I get the stamps of life monthly stamp (for about 18 months now), and just got my third simon says stamp card kit. Otherwise, I would have way less. It's a tight fit in one plastic shoe box. I'll need to start a second box soon.

I'm really pairing my stamp sets down. It's so much easier for me to make a choice now instead of mulling over too many sets. Any of y'all have the same experience? As to the number, I'd have to go count but I know it's definitely less than 100 - probably more like 50-60.

Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but at last estimate, I have between 4,000 to 5,000. I have them all in the old PSB (paper sticker binders) zippered storage With the PSBs lined up neatly on shelves. Each PSB has between 350 to 400 stamps, and I have 14 of them. Oh, and that doesn't include the 11 or so boxes with CTMH stamps. I am seriously addicted, but I have been buying stamps at least since 1986, possibly even longer.
Crazy? Maybe. I am getting pickier than I used to be. I don't buy them nearly as often as I used to.
I use my stamps in my scrapping and for making cards. Our LSS recently closed, and I don't care for the scrapping papers that the big box stores carry. As long as I have cardstock and stamps, though, I can always make my own background papers and embellishments.
Those who don't stamp really don't understand my addiction and usually the topic of "HOW much have you spent?" comes up. Well, it doesn't matter. DH can't get off work that often or for very long to go traveling, and when he can get vacation, we usually just go to see family in other states or do something relatively local. We don't go on the big, expensive vacations like many people do. That means I can spend more on my scrapping and stamping hobbies, and my DH doesn't object. Yes, he is definitely a keeper!

I have about 10 stamp sets (including some cute ones Garcia5050 just sent me! -Thanks, my girls think they're great!). That's not including the old kiddie stamps that I have in a large storage tote in the garage. Those were given to my girl scout troop and are used by the girls when they need to make cards or wrapping paper or something like that.

Since the spring I added 70 Stampin Up sets (yes I said sets) to my stash. I just got 5 Studio G sets from my sister this weekend as well as one of those multipack, wood mounted, mini stamp sets. There are too many to backtrack past totals.

well I have 42 SU clear mount stamps and then I'm going to guess another 50 or so other sets. When I look at it, it sure doesn't look like much. I have my SU in a DVD tower and the rest are in he Avery Elle envelopes and then categorized by mfr in one of the fridge bins from Bed Bath and Beyond.

About 15 stamps not including the random SC stamps I get in kits. I just throw those in a drawer because they're not my style.

This is so cool! I love Evernote. Does your system help you remember what you have? Or do you decide you want a certain topic and type in the tag?

I know every stamp I have because of evernote. When I want something that has a heart in it I type in heart and every stamp set that has a heart in it pops up. Same with sentiments. My stamps are numbered so evernote tells me what number to look in. It's awesome

My stamps are numbered so evernote tells me what number to look in. It's awesome I agree! Iuse Evernote too and enter all my sentiments as tags. This means I can search for the exact sentiment I'm looking for for a particular project. You can also link stamps and dies or other coordinating products.

I have 12 of the 12x12 iris boxes full of clear and rubber stamps. Then there are some SU in their plastic boxes that they come... I would have to agree with lisadv's post that I have more than I need but not as many as I want! lol

Eleventy billion. And that's AFTER the last purge. Me too! Let's just say that after collecting them for over 30 years, teaching stamping independently for years, designing stamps for three companies and then owning a stamp/scrap store, you end up acquiring more than any normal person's fair share. I need to go through them, some haven't seen the light of day in over ten years. I'm hoping I'll have a chance to do that this winter and sell off a bunch in the spring when my friends do their annual sale. Even after that I will still have far too many, but once they are organized maybe I'll be able to actually use more of what I keep again.

I am afraid to count. I have way too many. So many that I've never used. This is one thing I do feel real shame about. I purchased too many on as an impulse buy.
