Just seeing this now, PNWMom! Congratulations! I don't know how many years you are out from chemo, but you would be FAR from the first to have a delayed return to fertility, albeit a decreased fertility. I routinely tell women to not expect anything close to normal for a good 2 years. I've had outliers get their periods and have their values return to somewhat normal ranges at the 3 year mark. I completely discount ANY values from less than 2 years out.

I am 3 years out from my chemo--my oncologist told me I needed to wait 2 years, but it took another year to get things going fertility-wise (testing of my previously frozen embryos; tried to make more eggs; had a few cycles cancelled because I didn't ovulate, etc). I had a triple negative breast cancer, so no ongoing tamoxifen or anything like that. I started having periods again ~6 months after stopping chemo, but they have been not very regular, and I would either not ovulate, or ovulate at a random time that didn't make sense, etc. It's been fun at the fertility clinic trying to predict what was going on! I had to stop and restart meds a few times because my body would not cooperate. The thing is--my fertility clinic tested my AMH and FSH levels back in 2013, before I started chemo, and again earlier this year when we decided to try to make more embryos. My old levels were normal for my age (I was 35), but my new levels are normal for a 50+ year old woman (it was below 0.3). Their suspicion is that my ovaries were extra affected by the chemo because I literally had an egg retrieval with heavy ovarian stimulation 3 days before I started chemo (I did 20 rounds total of dose-dense AC-T chemo). Also, it turns out that BRCA mutations, along with all the cancer implications, coincide with diminished ovarian reserves/decreased fertility earlier than most women.

All that doesn't matter now! Though, as I have said, I have seen the occasional woman return to a fertile state of some sort a full 3 years out. I've worked with YSC-ers (women diagnosed at 40 or younger) long enough! As I said to my sister who was led by her REI to believe that she could not get pregnant without injectables, if you only ovulate once a year or so and happen to catch that one ovulation, you can get pregnant... and she certainly did. That was 2 years before her cancer diagnosis, about 3 years after mine. That baby is 10 now.
