DD and I love those giant soft pretzels and always get them when we are at the mall. We do not agree on the best sauce however. She says cheese sauce. I say mustard. What do you say?

Mustard. Anyone who chooses cheese over mustard must be shunned.

If you wish to shun me, I will happily eat my pretzel with cheese by myself.

Mustard. Anyone who chooses cheese over mustard must be shunned. Personally, I agree. But since she IS my child, I have had to become a bigger person.

Ok....I'll compromise as I love both the cheese on them and to dip them in mustard. When I was a teen my mom always kept these in the freezer. When my gf's and I were hungry that was one of the first foods we would eat!

Neither. I like the cinnamon sugared ones from Auntie Anne's.

Plain. I prefer the idea of cheese sauce but most actual cheese sauces are blech.

I'm a mustard lover, but if forced to choose I would go with the cheese sauce. Yum.

For me, it depends upon the pretzel. The truly soft, large ones from a place like Auntie Anne's taste best with cheese. My favorite is their spicy cheese. The pretzels that are smaller, darker brown that you usually get at an event concession need mustard.

I had one last night at the ballgame. Sauce didn't matter 'cause I washed it down with a Mike's Hard Lemonade....yum!

If it's an Auntie Anne's pretzel-- I prefer them plain.
Regular, run-of-the-mill soft pretzels-- I'd prefer cheese.

I prefer them with no sauce. I just like the salt and butter. We make homemade ones now though and those are so good it makes the mall ones seem nasty.

Neither. I prefer them plain, but if I have to choose it's cheese sauce. However, I love Auntie Anne's cinnamon sugar pretzel bites the most. Yum!
