Now it just says "Coming Soon". At least we don't have to look at the inaccurate projected date. Unfortunately there is still no useful information and I still cannot use the classes I paid for. Am I being unreasonable to be impatient about not having access for more than four months to something I paid for promptly? As one post above said, she is running a business, and had no problem collecting funds from us. She is not supplying these classes to people as friends, we are paying customers.

Here I am .. supposed to be "iced in" with time on my hands and a wish to learn something new -- and I don't have access to the rest of the information I purchased 4 months ago!
I received the pdfs for the new classes I'd purchased. I wrote earlier that I didn't think much of her as a teacher and I have to say that the videos (such as inadequate as they are) are much better than the pdfs! Working together, they form an imperfect whole. Taken individually they are lacking!
She wrote on her Facebook page that she is creating a "new class" --- and so excited to be feeling creative again. But ... still blaming "others" for the continuing disfunction of her site ... and citing another web site that took 3 months for a relaunch! Deflecting, deflecting, deflecting ......

It's now been at least 4 months. I'm giving up and can find cut files other places.

It's ridiculous she's continuing to spew about her creativity. This is clearly a vanity project for her, and she used us to fund it. I find it hard to believe she didn't keep even a simple database of her customers elsewhere. I've received emails from her in the last year as I'm sure many have. She could have kept in touch and not played damsel in distress.

Is there way no way to file a complaint with PayPal or your credit card to get your money back? I know you want your class but at this point atleast getting your money back would be an improvement.

Kerri and I corresponded on Facebook on December 3. In the past I bought and paid for at least 6 classes from her. She offered me copies of the pdf files and said her site was 85% done. That was SIX WEEKS ago. I have been patiently waiting, but at this point I feel this is fraud. There are ways to send the cut files and the videos, for example she could put them in my Dropbox. I want the product I bought, mostly the video tutorials, not just the pdfs. Does anyone have any ideas for what recourse we can pursue for this?
Today, I wrote to her on Facebook, sending this message:
It has been over month since we corresponded. Please tell me what is happening. I paid for my product long ago and I cannot get to it. There are ways to provide your customers with their product and video content that does not require a fancy complex website. If you cannot find my information I will be happy to send it to you and you can put all of my content into my Dropbox folder. This is no longer just an inconvenience, it goes beyond that. Alternatively you can refund all of my money.

I have to say, some companies I EXPECT crap to happen with (hello, SC. I am look'n at you).
But I would have never guessed things would be like this with Kerri. Just from the little I know of her, I felt she would find a way to make things right with her customers. But she isnt. And all the blaming on other people? Ugh. Personal responsiblity is real and Im not seeing any of it with her.

I just saw on her website that she is working on formulating a new class. I posted this message in response:
I have tried to be patient. I paid for my classes promptly and you have had the benefit of funds from all those customers. We have been without our product and content for MORE THAN FOUR MONTHS! We do not need a fancy website. We just want access to our video tutorials and cut files. People post craft tutorial videos all the time, and you can do password protected if you want to limit it to paid customers. You do not need an IT expert to deliver videos and cut files to those who already bought them. Please concentrate on providing the products already purchased instead of designing a new class. We should not have to wait for your fancy site in order to access product we have already purchased. Thank you.

It boggles my mind when business people do not see how horrible customer service can kill their business.
If she were smart she would upload some of her "classes" to You Tube. It would be free to paid members, a bonus to customers who haven't paid for those specific classes and a way to lure in new customers.

You know I said in another thread that October Afternoon was worth waiting for their releases. I wonder if KB and company understand the difference here?
We did not pay OA in advance. KB has been paid for goods she is withholding.
The average consumer can see the difference, but I felt like this needed to be spelled out for KB's benefit.
I am as annoyed by the arrogance of all this as I am missing my classes and files. It's not often I bang a drum complaining online; but this is an awful way to do business.

I agree -- Bradford talking about her creativity returning and creating new products and new classes makes my teeth clench when we still haven't been granted access that we've already paid for. I REALLY want to be snarky and MEAN directly on her Facebook pages .... but so far, I've kept my fingers off the keyboard - well, not here and I don't think I've been very snarky here (certainly not as snarky as I can be!!) ;-} !!

Honestly, if I were in your situation I would have already disputed the charges, and filed a complaint with the BBB, and any other site that I could file a complaint with. Her lackadaisical attitude would be infuriating to me.
A month? Still kind of long, but ok give her a pass. But 4 months+ is ludicrous!!!

I felt bad for her in the beginning, but agree that it is ridiculous at this point. If you need a break from the business, then just say so. However, you must deliver what has been purchased already.

I messaged KB earlier this week, asking if once the site is repaired, can we download and save the videos so that we can truly have the access to what was purchased? I've bought classes from other places where the video tutorials can be downloaded to watch off-line, independent of whether or not their website is working once it has been downloaded. It is not rocket science to make that available. Given the unreliability of the KB website, I think that is the LEAST she can do for those of us who paid her and have been denied OVER FOUR MONTHS of access to our products
Here is her reply: "Not sure on the downloading part, but you will always have access to them." But I have NOT had access to them for the last 4+ months!! I must say it infuriates me to have her still claim "you will always have access to them" I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THEM!!!!
She also wrote: "But I literally *just* had the most glorious of news of one of the main kinks that needed working out after last week's advancement and gosh darn it, it got worked out!" But the website still says "Coming Soon"

That "one of the main kinks" worries me ... more than a little! How many MORE kinks are there? And will those KINKS need another "too much time" to work out?

I read on her Instagram that she is hoping to be back up and running next week. Did you check the date of that Instagram post? (haha joke is on us) Here is a post on the KB Studio website from Nov 18: "But my new site is just about to launch, so if you can hang on for a few more days." Here is something she posted on Nov 26: "This sale has been extended until the new site is up, which is hopefully next week!" Here is one from October 4: "Hopefully within the next couple weeks." Any wonder why there might be lack of credibility and trust for anyone who does business with KB? I am sure this has been difficult for her, but business is business when you are taking money from people. There is a certain responsibility. She has been saying and posting this for FOUR MONTHS!!!! We have had no access to the materials bought and paid for since September. No access all through the pre-holiday crafting season and no access during winter vacation/break time.

@scrappymom The point is that she has been saying "next week" for 4 months now! And still selling physical products with a work around. She can continue to have money coming in but can't get a work around to get us the information we've already paid for .... that is just pretty sketchy business.
