Maybe try something simple like this... apoen*#^@&^$)apoijojiopjsoivzcna1840396720wleruewoujEKLNPhoonvnveop#*)@%$*&(!*$^%) Easy to remember too, lol. UGH. I hate sites like that. I understand the security behind it but sheesh. nicolep, are you swearing under your breath? LOL Save

So...she got back with me, and I haven't tried it yet, but I thought I'd post in case anyone else has the same problem. I'm wondering if I add an EXTRA vowel...then take one out...if I can get the password I want.
The store system I use added a more secure password feature last year, which is a good thing because it'll keep us all more secure, but can also be a pain. My recommendation is to remove a vowel or all the vowels. The minute you do that, it changes it to Strong. So like 'brekfast' or 'brkfst'. I actually do this quite a bit…you can still use the word you want and just know that there are no vowels. Makes it harder for people to randomize a password guess.

I emailed her about my missing class, The History Project. I was directed to see Friday's blog post and told that she would be sending out a coupon code in a couple of days so I could "repurchase" it. So I will have to wait and see if this will actually work.

No it does not make it harder for people to randomize passwords. It makes it easier. I swear Kerri Bradford's idea of security makes me want to slam my head against the wall in frustration. You need vowels, numbers, symbols, uppercase, lowercase in your passwords. All good password sites do this. She has the most sloppiest IT group ever or she is BS'ing. One or the other. Now, we know how her site got hacked. "I actually do this quite a bit...." Best day ever for hackers when they discovered her site. They were probably thinking look at this lady and her stupid password to get in her site. I wondered what she used? I am going to guess scrpbk or maybe she used pswrd. I want to give you all hugs having to deal with this.

Wow and holy cow, ladies. I just read all of this and I have to say that #1 I'm sorry you've all been put through all of this, and #2 I am astounded at your patience in regards to this situation. You all deserve an award for how well you've handled yourselves. I am embarrassed to admit that I know that I would have probably would have had a screaming fit by now had I been in your shoes. I have a short fuse when it comes to someone messing with my money. I hope it ultimately works out well for all of you and that perhaps KB will realize that you all deserve more than just a special discount in appreciation for how long you have waited.

So...I'm trying to log in and I can't. I tried to reset my password and got the email, but it keeps telling me my password is weak, when I've met all it's criteria for a "stronger" password. I've tried several passwords, and it won't accept any of them. Is there some trick to this? Maybe try something simple like this... apoen*#^@&^$)apoijojiopjsoivzcna1840396720wleruewoujEKLNPhoonvnveop#*)@%$*&(!*$^%) Easy to remember too, lol. UGH. I hate sites like that. Melanell, it's been like screaming into the wind. KB totally doesn't get it! But going through it with other RefuPeas has helped. If a business transaction can be surreal, this one is. If I'd been alone I'd wonder if I was imagining such a dumb situation. I don't use the word dumb often, but can't think of any other except crooked.

I finally got my password updated. Grrr. And I noticed that the only purchases in my account are from her old "New Store" from 2014 and later.

I took the History Project class with her in 2013. I made sure to print my handouts when that class ended as she was flaky on maintaining her weekly release of prompts. And I was just "done" with her lack of professionalism at that point in time.
I have not used her site since then, and I now have an email for the class code to download the History Project. If I wasn't part of this board, I would have no idea why I was getting that email...
So she still had my email in a database... why didn't she use her database to update people all along??? And now that means my email was hacked as part of the site, which I didn't realize would happen as I haven't used her site in years.
Based on her guidance of re-registering, I'm guessing her improved security IT dept just stripped all the passwords from our login names. Nothing special there, that is what is advised when any site data gets hacked - and it would have been nice if she would have just stated that.
Seriously, dropping the vowels in your password??? You don't use normal words for your password! (Let alone telling everyone to do that!!!)
I hate having to use different characters for logins in an effort to have a secure password. Even though users are required to use special characters, the SITE gets hacked - no matter how many special characters we use on a login.

And I was just "done" with her lack of professionalism at that point in time. That's exactly the reason I would not buy any more classes from her site. I was in the 2013 History Project. When I bought my Silhouette this fall, I really thought I'd try her Sil. classes. I think I was lucky that her site was down. I learned a lot from friends and free sites and saved myself $ and frustration. I never could figure out why no one in that class we took was irritated about the classes when they continually came late or not at all week after week. I was too chicken to rant about it, but I was not a happy camper.

Ditto shutterbug2sue and nylene, I too was in the History class and learned then that her word was no good. She was good to take my money but not good at her commitment. I feel like maybe I should have spoke up about her lack of follow thru then and maybe could have warned others about her poor business practices.

So I've used my code to access the History Project. Am I missing something? I wanted to download all the PDFs and cut files so that I could be done with Kerri and that was that. All I can seem to find is prompts embedded in to the website, which is not what I purchased. I'm getting more and more annoyed by the whole situation! Of course I'll email Kerri, but wondered whether I'd get a quicker reply from you more reliable peas!
ETA: Found it! I thought they'd still be individual PDFs at the end of each prompt but it's all put together in to one book under the getting started tab. Silly me!

I just had the "order details" for the Pocket Book class I purchased last year and visited the site to repurchase it and download again. All credit to her for making it so much easier to download it all in a pdf and single zip file. I just downloaded all the videos too (using the Firefox Video Download Helper extension I have used previously) and now have my purchase safely stored on my hard drive and backed up on a USB stick, all together and ready to use. Thank you, Kerri. I'm done. Bye.

Ugh anniefb, what a pain. Thinking about it though, if she has to go through every customer and email them with a new, unique sales email and code, it's going to take time, isn't it? It's a heck of a palaver all round really, isn't it? And yes, reading the security advice about passwords referred to earlier in this thread, I agree, it's incredibly naive. I'm pleased to be done with it all, I can assure you. Just hope you are soon in the same position.

No answers to any of my emails or to the message left via the "contact us" on the website. Password still not changing, only working with the one posted here. Still missing four of my classes. Her blog is disabled for comments. There is this an amusing series of comments on her Facebook page: "But it hasn't been a short period of time. It's been almost five months. Five months from someone who promised "lifetime access" and has people's money. If you ordered something from Amazon and got the two day shipping confirmation and was charged for your order, yet didn't receive it for almost five months, would you be that gracious about not receiving it? Or would you have demanded either your product or a refund?" Reply from a fangirl: " I'm not going to engage in argument here. I'm just saying when you're working with a small business, sometimes stuff happens. I am suggesting that grace be shown, as in the same grace you would hope to be shown if it were you. We aren't talking about Amazon. And for the record, I am waiting for something from Amazon that I purchased in November that they're having manufacturer issues with. It happens. Grace and be kind. That's all." This sums up why some "small businesses" are not succeeding. I don't equate "small business" as an excuse for poor customer service. Or worse, not delivering a product that has been paid for. In fact, it should be the opposite. People go to small businesses to get better service. Generally the "Big Box" businesses often do not have personalized customer attention, and normally they do not charge you until you get the product, or else offer a refund if you don't get it. I wouldn't expect someone to show me "grace" if I took their money and they have not had the product or service for nearly five months. Fangirl doesn't realise that one person having an issue with Amazon is NOT like everyone having an issue with the small business.

What am I misunderstanding? My Silhouette Combo classes are listed under "My Orders", but they aren't available in "My Classes". Has this happened to anyone else?
I've already emailed hello@kerribradford.com to advise her History is missing, but am not in a hurry about it, or other downloads. Edit: I AM in a hurry about the Silhouette classes!
I never received any emails about the site change, or any other codes discussed here. My last communication with them was Fall of 2015, Kerri was very quick to help me solve a website problem at the time.

My email came from kerri@kerribradford.com if you want to try a different email address. Overall, the communication on this issue has been very poor. I wouldn't have known a lot of what was going on if it weren't from threads here and checking her FB page. But even that wasn't too informative - just a lot of "hopefully soon" and "any day now" type updates.

KB Studios replied to my email in just a few hours and added all my classes, including History Project. I hope she's over the mountain now and can start to restore business and customer confidence. I dislike, HATE, bad business practices, but it would also be a shame to see her talent go to waste.
