From AP
"BREAKING: US judge blocks Trump order to cut off funding to cities that limit cooperation with immigration authorities."
Poor donnie he can't get anything done. Can't stop the Muslims from entering the country, can't repeal/replace ACA, can't get money for his wall from either Mexico or the American Taxpayer and now this....

From Rachel Maddow.....
"This White House says they do not have any documents about about the NSA they fired after 3 weeks. Seriously?!?"
This is about Flynn. It seems it's possible that he was being paid by a foreign government while acting as security advisor to the president elect and then the president.
If this is true then we know know why Flynn asked for immunity.
And now the White House claims they have no documents about Flynn. He was supposed to be vetted before he became the National Security Advisor. But yet there is no paperwork.

And he is back with the wall.... "The Wall is a very important tool in stopping drugs from pouring into our country and poisoning our youth (and many others)! If" Dear president tiny hands, if you think the wall is so important then tax the rich to pay for it instead of taking tax dollars away from programs to help the middle class and the poor. Notice how he ends the tweet with "if". If what? Edited to add.... And here is the rest of the wall tweet. Only took him three hours to finish it. "....the wall is not built, which it will be, the drug situation will NEVER be fixed the way it should be! #BuildTheWall" So now the main reason for the wall is drugs. But correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the biggest threat/concern is opioid addiction from prescription drugs? Fentanyl addiction is the biggest one here, especially out West. Many young people are dying from one use. He should bed more concerned about that and oxy, you're right. He wants the wall for one reason and one reason only..to keep non Americans out. That is "brown" non Americans. There are a ton of white european illegals but no one cares about them.

So now he is after Canada... "Canada has made business for our dairy farmers in Wisconsin and other border states very difficult. We will not stand for this. Watch!" And that wall again... "Don't let the fake media tell you that I have changed my position on the WALL. It will get built and help stop drugs, human trafficking etc." Oh now it's stopping human trafficking as well. Fine. Us Canadians don't need to import the dairy from the USA then. Then we will see how the dairy farmers feel when they loose that kind of business. I sometimes wonder how Mr. Trump is a business man. He seems to say a lot of stuff that indicates otherwise.

Now he is on to health care..... "If our healthcare plan is approved, you will see real healthcare and premiums will start tumbling down. ObamaCare is in a death spiral!" What I don't understand is why do they think they need to pull a health care plan together in a week. Last time they, tried they may have worked on it for a couple of weeks. This time they want to have it done in about a week. Novel thought...why don't they take a month, or even 6 months and come up with a plan that will be beneficial to all? Because he promised that he'd have it done in his first 90 days.

He also doesn't understand that we import a TON of US products and if he isn't careful, he is going to lose his closest ally. He dan't afford to piss us off as well. Tourism itself would go down by billions and so would import export. For a " smart businessman" he is quite an idiot. Although not surprised because he has never actually worked at his own businesses anyway!

And it's the 9th Circuit Court that has the feckless leader miffed this morning..
"First the Ninth Circuit rules against the ban & now it hits again on sanctuary cities-both ridiculous rulings. See you in the Supreme Court!"
"Out of our very big country, with many choices, does everyone notice that both the "ban" case and now the "sanctuary" case is brought in ..."
"...the Ninth Circuit, which has a terrible record of being overturned (close to 80%). They used to call this "judge shopping!" Messy system."
He is so damn predictable and petty. And he can't even get his courts right.
Random tweet....
"Uh, this was a district court ruling. It hasn't gotten to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals yet."

There is no question that I don't like trump. That being the case am I nit picking because I think this tweet is just so wrong?
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our @flotus, Melania! 45.wh.gov/9zVkh6"
What bugs me is instead of saying happy birthday to my wife he calls her "our @flotus".
Now it's possible a staff member did this tweet on trump's personal twitter account. It just seems so wrong.

Washington Post Greg Sargent....
"NEWS:
White House has privately told Pelosi it may stop ACA CSR payments NEXT MONTH, Dem aide tells me:"
The current repeal/replace of the ACA is soooo great that members of Congress are exempt from having to use it. And to get his way trump is willing to let the insurance premiums of millions of Americans sore so he can "force" the Democrats to support a plan that borders on "junk" insurance.
Anyone want to tell me, with a straight face, how this man is looking out for the little guy???
Once again, the Republicans need to repeal the ACA so they can cut taxes for corporations and the 1% gang. That is their only goal. Any replacement for the ACA will not benefit the American people that need it the most when it comes to health care. It's all about the taxes.

How much is enough? How much money is enough for these guys? Is there a magic number they are trying to hit? Or will it always be more, more, more for these rich white men?
It's a great reminder to me what a blessing it is to be living a content life.

Random tweet about trump's tweet on where Wisconsin is actually located....
"There is no part of Wisconsin that is on an international border. The President of the United States should probably know that."
The tweet in question....
"Canada has made business for our dairy farmers in Wisconsin and other border states very difficult. We will not stand for this. Watch!"
The guy has a point. Once again it's clear the best and brightest was not elected president.

From Kurt Eichenwald.....
"Rulings in the 9th circuit have recently gone against Trump. So now he is talking about getting rid of the 9th circuit. Good God."
This is what should get people upset instead of getting all pissy because someone turned off a tv in a restaurant. People need to get their priorities straight. In other words don't sweat the small stuff.

And he's off.....
"The Democrats want to shut government if we don't bail out Puerto Rico and give billions to their insurance companies for OCare failure. NO!"
"I want to help our miners while the Democrats are blocking their healthcare."
"I promise to rebuild our military and secure our border. Democrats want to shut down the government. Politics!"
"What's more important? Rebuilding our military - or bailing out insurance companies? Ask the Democrats."
"Democrats jeopardizing the safety of our troops to bail out their donors from insurance companies. It is time to put #AmericaFirst🇺🇸"
"Democrats used to support border security — now they want illegals to pour through our borders."
"As families prepare for summer vacations in our National Parks - Democrats threaten to close them and shut down the government. Terrible!"
Well tiny hands that "bailing out insurance companies" is actually helping the poorer Americans to pay for their health care premiums. So I would hazard a guess that could also be considered "America First".
And I don't believe the Femocrats have said anything about not wanting border security they just don't want an overpriced wall.
As far as the families preparing for a summer vacation, they had better hurry before you dismantle them and sell them to the highest bidder that benefits your pockets.
As far as the coal miners losing their healthcare why is it wrong for them to lose it but ok for the sickest and the poorest in this country to lose theirs? Before anyone get's their panties in a wade, unlike trump, I believe everyone should have comprehensive affordable health care.
What is sad is the latest poll show that the majority of trump's supporters belueve him and feel the press is telling lies about him.

Oh oh...... "Consumer spending appeared to have cooled in the first quarter based on weaker-than-expected data released earlier. Consumer spending adjusted for inflation saw its weakest February since 2009. A slowdown in the auto industry weighed on retail sales in March, the latest month of data available that marked a second-straight decline. " Add this to only 98,000 new jobs could spell trouble. This is now all under trump. Wonder how he will spin it SF Gate. link

I heard a story on NPR this morning where they had analyzed his Presidency so far by his tweets... the person who did the study looked at the tone (positive vs. negative) of his tweets, and how they corresponded to what was going on with his policies, executive orders, etc. at the time they were written. It was really interesting!
She had a really good point, too, in that Trump is only the second President that had this kind of social media so readily available to him. Trump is the first one that has used social media so much, and President Obama's tweets were usually more general in topic, and were typically either neutral or only mildly positive. So knowing the real-time 'mood' of the President via Twitter may be a thing that continues after Trump leaves office. (personally I hope not, but you never know.)

linkNow Coke is cutting 1200 jobs world wide which means jobs here in the US will be affected as well. And we know retail is shedding thousands of jobs. I read something like 100,000 since October. So it sounds like for every manufacturing job trump magically brings back he loses one in the non manufacturing sector. I wonder what his plan is for replacing those jobs?

You want to believe that when one sends someone to the Oval Office they are grown up enough that their staff doesn't feel their job is to "talk him out of doing crazy things."

If trump keeps doing these publicly stunts and if the time comes the American People need to listen to what he says there is a real chance they won't thinking it was all a publicity stunt to feed his very fragile ego.
