Because it's what people on the internet do. They post snapshots and quotes out of context in order to try to bolster opinions they already hold in order to "prove" their opinions are correct. Look at all the photos and comments about Melania being trapped, wanting to get away from her husband, etc. that completely ignore all the photos of her looking happy and smiling with him. It's like people who sit on park benches and play that game where you make up stories about passersby.

I personally don’t care what the Obamas wore. Their own actions had proven they are people of substance and dignity, as a leader and his wife, as parents, as spouses, as human beings. To me, that’s genuine class.

I think that kind of thing is ridiculous. I don't care if both couples wear gunny sacks, as long as they don't lead the country down the shitter.

I could care less what any of them are wearing. The Obamas showed just how classy they were in their responses to the attending previous Presidents. Did Trump even acknowledge them? Not to mention how insulting his address was to the previous attending presidents. Money most certainly cannot buy you class!

Exactly. They do it on both sides. And yes, look at all the people, even on this message board, that are experts on how Melania feels in her marriage.

Just tell yourself that these type of posts reflect far more about the poster than about anyone in the photos/memes/etc.

And it's certainly not just fans of trump that do this kind of thing. It's all sorts and it's annoying no matter who posts what.

Just like the folks who re-post articles from The Onion and get thousands of people fighting about it as if it's actually real. It reflects on the person who re-posted it in that either they don't check their sources before re-posting, OR that they know darn well they are re-posting fake news but get a charge out of getting people all riled up.

I have to say though that outfit isn't exactly one of Michelle's best. I think I actually made a face when I saw it!

I've always thought of you as a just political troll, as far as I recall we've never interacted in any way so that loss of respect doesn't actually count for anything...but nonetheless, amusing that you'd think I'd care.

I love that *I'm* disgusting though - when it's not me that accepted money to do soft porn and to hang out my bits for men to ogle at, that's all on the classy first lady herself...she made her own choices and gets to live with them, and so does Donny boy.
